Abstract

The development of e-commerce in Indonesia is driven by the large population and extensive geography. One of the leading e-commerce applications in Indonesia is Shopee. User reviews of this application reflect public sentiment towards Shopee. The Naive Bayes method was used to classify reviews, with an accuracy rate of 90.76%. Using TF-IDF helps calculate the weight of words in reviews. Performance evaluation shows that the model has high accuracy in scenario 1 with a 60:40 split between training data and test data. The use of information technology has changed the business paradigm, including in e-commerce such as Shopee. The importance of understanding consumer sentiment can be seen from social media platforms, where sentiment analysis using Naive Bayes and Topic Modeling shows negative sentiment at the 11:11 Shopee Flashsale event. Suggestions for Shopee include improving event strategies such as Flashsale by inviting artists and improving customer service. Responsiveness to technical application problems is also emphasized to increase customer satisfaction. The increase in e-commerce transactions in Indonesia shows rapid growth, with many platforms emerging. Sentiment analysis such as that done with K-Nearest Neighbor (K-NN) on Google Play Store reviews provides insight into the experience of e-commerce users in Indonesia, with an accuracy rate of up to 82%. This research provides significant implications for e-commerce companies in better understanding and meeting customer expectations.

Abstract

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is an endemic disease which is a health problem in Indonesia, which can be transmitted through the bite of the Aedes aegypti mosquito . Control of the Aedes aegypti mosquito as a dengue vector has been widely carried out using synthetic controls, other controls can be carried out using natural larvicides . Bay leaves (Syzygium polyanthum (Wight)) are one of the plants that can be used as a natural larvicide because they contain alkaloids, flavonoids, phenolics, terpenoids, tannins, saponins and essential oils. This research aims to determine the effect of bay leaf juice on the death of third instar Aedes aegypti mosquito larvae. This research is an experimental study by looking at the death of third instar Aedes aegypti mosquito larvae from bay leaf juice. The treatment was carried out by making various concentrations of bay leaf juice, namely 4%, 8%, 16%, 20%, 32%, 64% and 80%. Each treatment container contained 25 third instar Aedes aegypti mosquito larvae with 2 repetitions for 24 hours. Data were analyzed using one way ANOVA analysis of variance. The conclusion of this research is that bay leaf juice has a significant effect on the death of third instar Aedes aegypti mosquito larvae and a concentration of 16% is an effective concentration in killing third instar Aedes aegypti mosquito larvae.

Abstract

The mining industry is an industry with high risk characteristics, where human factors are one of the main causes of work accidents. PT Z, is a mineral mining company operating in the Papua region, Indonesia with quite complex operations, ranging from underground mining techniques to various numbers and types of production equipment. With the workforce currently reaching more than 29,563 (February 2023 data), the potential for human interaction with moving vehicles is quite high so that the risk of traffic accidents is something that is currently the company's focus. In the period 2018 to 2022, there have been 513 incidents involving light vehicles. This research, which was conducted at PT Z, aims to examine light vehicle accidents using the Human Factors Analysis and Classification-Mining Industry (HFACS-MI) framework. The research methodology consists of collecting qualitative data on accident cases at PT Z for 5 years, which are included in the classification of light vehicle accidents sourced from the incident management system. Next, the light vehicle accident data will be classified using the HFACS-MI framework, with descriptive statistics for data analysis. Data shows that 88% of light vehicle accidents occur in the highland operating area. Based on the HFACS-MI framework, light vehicle accidents that occurred at PT Z occurred due to contributions from several layers or levels, namely organizational influence factors (106%), unsafe leadership (9%), precondition for unsafe acts (109%) , as well as unsafe acts carried out (77%). It can be concluded that by reducing errors caused by human factors, light vehicle accidents can be reduced in mining operation areas. The HFACS-MI framework is considered effective in analyzing accidents in a structured and standardized manner, especially regarding the contribution of human factors in accidents in the mining industry.

Abstract

Muhammad Irpan (201223025). Development of Learning Media Using Genially to Increase Student Interest in Learning at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Kuningan in Basic Graphic Design Subjects. The background to this thesis is that students' interest in learning at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Kuningan in the Basic Graphic Design subject is still relatively low. This is caused by learning methods that are less interesting and interactive. Genially is an online platform that allows the creation of interesting and interactive learning media. The aim of this thesis is to develop learning media using Genially to increase students' interest in learning in the Basic Graphic Design subject. The main problem in this research is "Can learning media developed using Genially increase students' interest in learning in Basic Graphic Design subjects?". This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method. The development model used is the development of Borg & Gall's instructional learning media (Puslitjaknov, 2008; Utomo, 2015) which is simplified into 5 main steps, namely: analyzing the product to be developed, developing the initial product, expert validation and revision, conducting field trials small scale, large scale field trials. The learning media developed was tested on students in class X TKJ and X RPL at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Kuningan. Based on the results of this research analysis using a paired samples test with a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05, it shows that there is a significant difference between the initial variable (pretest) and the final variable (posttest), so that this Genially learning media can be used as a learning media primarily by students.

Abstract

The process of creating art on canvas using natural colors from mangosteen peel represents a distinctive artistic endeavor. Mangosteen peel colors possess unique characteristics compared to synthetic ones. Across various dimensions, mangosteen peel colors tend to exhibit natural nuances such as light brown, brownish, reddish-purple, and blue. Painting with mangosteen peel entails a creative process that begins with harvesting the fruit from the garden. Spontaneously, upon splitting the mangosteen fruit into two equal parts, I decided to use the peel to make marks on the canvas. This technique involves spontaneous finger movements, gently, moderately, and sometimes forcefully pressing the canvas. The resulting color effects emerge naturally, correlating with the intensity of finger movements scraping the mangosteen peel on the canvas. The method of creating paintings using mangosteen peel is carried out spontaneously, following stages of art creation: existence, exploration, experimentation, realization, and evaluation. The realization of paintings using mangosteen peel reflects the dynamics of art creation, encompassing elements of visual arts such as light, point, line, space, plane, color, texture, and composition. The artworks produced are titled as expressions of color and line: Expression of Color and Line 1, Expression of Color and Line 2, Expression of Color and Line 3, and so forth. The use of mangosteen peel colors as an alternative medium in the process of creating paintings is driven by the necessity for creativity to achieve artworks of quality, significance, and harmonious value.
