Abstract

Konflik orangtua dan anak dapat terjadi dalam berbagai hal. Salah satu permasalahan yang menjadi konflik tersebut adalah preferences mate. Konflik yang terjadi biasanya tidak dapat dihindari. Namun, dalam budaya tertentu seperti budaya kolektif, ada kecenderungan konflik tidak terjadi. Pada pemilihan pasangan sendiri terdapat berbagai karakteristik. Dalam hal ini, akan terdapat kecenderungan orangtua dan anak memiliki kesamaan dalam karakteristik yang diinginkan untuk pemilihan pasangan. Namun, orangtua dan anak juga dapat memiliki perbedaan mengenai karakteristik yang diinginkan dalam pemilihan pasangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui konflik orangtua dan anak yang terjadi pada keluarga di Bangka. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga ingin mengetahui karakteristik yang paling didambakan maupun yang paling tidak didambakan dalam preferences mate oleh keluarga di Bangka. Data penelitian ini diambil dari 178 partisipan orangtua dan anak yang tinggal di Bangka. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat konflik antara orangtua dan anak dalam preferences mate. Temuan penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa karakter baik dan pengertian merupakan karakter yang paling didambakan dalam preferences mate oleh partisipan penelitian. Selain itu, untuk karakteristik yang paling tidak didambakan oleh partisipan penelitian ini adalah sarjana.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the impact of Story Theme to improve moral theme understanding in primary school students. This program was designed to help students understand the storyline, moral lesson, and formulation of the moral story by creating new stories that have similar moral themes. The participants (N = 16) were the students in grade 5 elementary school and divided into two groups: 8 students in the experimental group and 8 students in the control group. This study used the experimental design of Randomized Controlled Trial (RCT) and a measuring tool of Moral Theme Understanding. The result of the analysis showed that Theme Identification Program has improved the understanding of moral themes among elementary school students (z= -2,527 p= 0,012).Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Program Identifikasi Tema (PIT) dongeng dalam meningkatkan pemahaman tema moral pada siswa sekolah dasar. PIT dirancang untuk membantu anak memahami alur cerita, penalaran moral, dan perumusan pesan moral pada cerita dengan membuat cerita baru yang memiliki tema moral serupa. Partisipan (N=16) siswa kelas 5 Sekolah Dasar. Terbagi dalam dua kelompok yaitu 8 siswa pada kelompok eksperimen dan 8 siswa pada kelompok kontrol. Desain pada penelitian ini yaitu eksperimen dengan desain Randomized Controlled Trial (RCT). Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah Pemahaman Tema Moral (PTM) yang disusun berdasarkan alat ukur Moral Theme Comprehention. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan, diketahui bahwa hipotesis penelitian diterima, artinyaprogram identifikasi tema (PIT) meningkatkan pemahaman tema moral (PTM) di sekolah dasar (z= -2,527 p= 0,012).

Abstract

Santri merupakan seseorang yang belajar agama Islam dan mendalami agama Islam dalam sebuah pesantrian atau pesantren. Dalam menjalankan kegiatannya sehari-hari, santri terikat dengan berbagai macam peraturan dan kegiatan yang menyebabkan kecenderungan dari munculnya emotional exhaustion pada santri. Dalam penilitian ini, akan dibahas mengenai peranan self-regulated learning terhadap emotional exhaustion yang dimediasi oleh student engagement pada santri. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif non-eksperimental dengan teknik pengambilan data purposive sampling dan criterion sampling. Adapun alat ukur yang digunakan terdiri dari alat ukur self-regulated learning yang diadaptasi dari alat ukur self-regulated learning dari Pintrich dan Groot (1990), alat ukur emotional exhaustion yang diadaptasi dari alat ukur yang dikembangkan oleh Schaufeli, Martίnez, Marqués-Pinto, Salanova, dan Bakker (2002), serta alat ukur student engagement yang diadaptasi dari alat ukur student engagement dari Schaufeli dan Bakker (2003). Pengambilan data dilakukan di lima pondok pesantren yang terdapat di wilayah Bogor dan Bekasi pada bulan Oktober – November 2018 dengan melibatkan 424 partisipan penelitian berusia 11 – 20 tahun. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh, self-regulated learning secara negatif signifikan memengaruhi emotional exhaustion (tc’ = -6,336; p= 0,000 < 0,05) dan student engagement tidak memediasi peran self-regulated learning terhadap emotional exhaustion (tb’= 1,153; p = 0,250 > 0,05). A santri is a person who studies Islam in a pesantren or Islamic boarding school. In carrying out their daily activities, students are bound by a variety of regulations and activities that tend to cause emotional exhaustion in students. In this research, the role of self-regulated learning on emotional exhaustion mediated by student engagement on santri will be discussed. The research method used is quantitative non-experimental technique with purposive sampling and criterion sampling. The measuring device used consists of a self-regulated learning measuring instrument adapted from a self-regulated learning measuring instrument from Pintrich and Groot (1990), an emotional exhaustion measuring instrument adapted from a measuring instrument developed by Schaufeli, Martίnez, Marqués-Pinto, Salanova, and Bakker (2002), as well as student engagement measurement instrument adapted from the student engagement measurement instrument from Schaufeli and Bakker (2003). Data were collected at five Islamic boarding schools in Bogor and Bekasi over October - November 2018 involving 424 research participants aged 11-20 years. Based on the results obtained, self-regulated learning negatively and significantly affects emotional exhaustion (tc '= -6.336; p = 0.000 <0.05) and student engagement does not mediate the role of self-regulated learning on emotional exhaustion (tb' = 1.153; p = 0,250> 0,05).

Abstract

Community service activities is intended to apply relaxation techniques to reduce stress on students in the middle school. The event was held at the students of SMP Muhammadiyah 33, Tomang, West Jakarta. This event is based on a complaint from the principal that values need to be briefed for the students in the school associated with the need to reduce the stress students in learning. Strategies to reduce stress provided through implementation of relaxation techniques, so that the students were able to perform stress coping presented in an interactive, exposure to the material of speakers also use educational games and video content. PKM activity was held on March 2, 2017 and engage learners and teachers. Based on the analysis, it is concluded that relaxation techniques are effective in lowering the stress levels of students. Mechanical belly breathing (abdominal breathing), deep muscle relaxation and meditation (simple meditation) was able to make students become more relaxed and calm so that the stress level is low.ABSTRAK: Kegiatan pelayanan masyarakat dimaksudkan untuk menerapkan teknik relaksasi untuk mengurangi stres pada siswa di sekolah menengah. Acara yang digelar di sekolah SMP Muhammadiyah 33, Tomang, Jakarta Barat. Peristiwa ini didasarkan pada keluhan dari kepala sekolah bahwa nilai-nilanya perlu diberi pengarahan untuk siswa di sekolahnya yang terkait dengan kebutuhan untuk mengurangi stress siswa dalam belajar. Strategi untuk mengurangi stres yang diberikan melalui pelaksanaan teknik relaksasi, sehingga siswa mampu melakukan Stres mengatasi disajikan dalam interaktif, paparan materi pembicara juga menggunakan permainan pendidikan dan konten video. PKM kegiatan yang diselenggarakan pada tanggal 2 Maret 2017 dan melibatkan peserta didik dan guru. Berdasarkan analisis, disimpulkan bahwa teknik relaksasi efektif dalam menurunkan tingkat stres siswa. Pernapasan perut mekanik (pernapasan perut), relaksasi otot dalam dan meditasi (meditasi sederhana) mampu membuat siswa menjadi lebih santai dan tenang sehingga tingkat stres rendah

Abstract

Teenagers who violate the rules of criminal law are in the Lembaga Pemasyarakatan (Penitentiary). In a correctional institution for boys in Tangerang, adolescents undergo their prison terms and still get the opportunity to attend school or learn skills. In the interaction of adolescents in correctional institutions, they are often complained about behavior that is not according to rules such as theft, fighting or disturbing friends/ bullying. The inability of adolescents to control their behavior even though they are already in correctional institutions illustrates their difficulties in regulating behavior. Behavioral regulation is part of the human executive function to be able to direct behavior in a purpose so as to make the right decision. Behavioral regulation can be trained with psychological therapy using the game approach. Cognitive Behavioral Play Therapy applied to 10 adolescents in correctional institutions shows that there was a change in the value of behavioral regulation.

Abstract

Teachers need information to understand the characteristics of students, especially in the meanings of individual differences. Community service is intended to answer the problems perceived by the teacher. Based on the information obtained, then formulated the core problems experienced by teachers in the form of the need for knowledge and understanding the characteristics of students of public primary schools in Jakarta. Teachers need information about classroom managing techniques. The aimed of this activity was to improve the knowledge and understanding of teachers through psychoeducation with providing life skills intervention. The subjects or participants in this activity are teachers. A pre-test was first conducted that measured teachers' perceptions of how to manage the class by using Teacher's Sense of Efficacy Scale (TSES) questionnaire. After that, the resource person provides material on classroom management. Data analysis was using SPSS 18 version for windows. The paired sample T-test technique was used to see the effectiveness of the psychoeducation. There was no difference between a score of the pre-test (M = 4.0190, SD = 0.51470) and a score on the post-test (M = 4.1238, SD = 0.52867); Z = -0.788, and p = 0.431> 0.05. However, in the reflection of the activities of each participant expressed the usefulness of this event. Based on the activities that have been done, it can be concluded that the teachers who have provided feedback through self-report evaluation results, states that the students get the benefits of these activities.

Abstract

Pengukuran persepsi siswa mengenai disiplin, cara pandang siswa mengenai penetapan aturan di sekolah merupakan konstruk yang patut ditelaah dalam kajian empiris. Disiplin di sekolah terkait dengan batas-batas yang diberikan oleh pihak sekolah untuk membantu siswa merasa aman, mengoreksi dengan cara yang penuh kasih, positif dan logis, menunjukkan rasa hormat melalui role model perilaku yang konsisten. Penelitian ini mengkonstruk karakteristik psikometrik dari kedisiplinan siswa yang dapat memberikan kejelasan pemahaman sebagai bagian dari studi empiris dalam ranah psikologi pendidikan. Penelitian ini merupakan studi eksplorasi penyusunan alat ukur kedisiplinan siswa di sekolah menengah yang dikembangkan berdasarkan hasil elisitasi dari 32 partisipan melalui focus group discussion. Pengambilan data sebenarnya terhadap qualified volunteer sample dilakukan terhadap 478 siswa, yang dipilih dengan teknik convenience sampling, yaitu partisipan yang dipilih berdasarkan kriteria tertentu yang sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian dan bersedia terlibat dalam penelitian ini. Reduksi variabel menjadi faktor dilakukan melalui Exploratory Factor Analysis dengan menggunakan program PASW 18. Partisipan adalah remaja yang tinggal di Jakarta dan menempuh pendidikan Sekolah Menengah Pertama. Rentang usia partisipan penelitian ini adalah berusia 11-17 tahun. Berdasarkan analisis Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA), skala kedisiplinan yang terangkum dalam empat dimensi. Dimensi–dimensi yang terbentuk tersebut adalah deliquency, respect, value transfer dan integrity.

Abstract

High school students are in their teens who are characterized by having attitudes and behaviors capable of actively participating in social activities in the community, especially in schools. Schools that provide more support needed by adolescents to develop themselves will be positively perceived by students. Students' perceptions shown by satisfaction with school in general are known as quality of school life. This research was conducted at one private school in Jakarta which involved 113 students. Students are given psychoeducation and respond to the pre-test and post-test questionnaire. Based on the results of statistical calculations with SPSS applications programme, the results show that there is no effect of the application of psychoeducation to improve the quality of school life in students. Students' perceptions also tend to be low regarding through the quality of school life. However, female students have a more positive perception than male students about the quality of their school life.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pandemi Covid-19 memberikan dampak terhadap perubahan sistem pembelajaran menjadi dalam jaringan (daring) atau Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh (PJJ), sehingga menimbulkan tantangan baru bagi guru. Untuk menghadapi tantangan tersebut, motivasi mengajar dibutuhkan oleh sebagai tenaga pendidik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran motivasi mengajar guru SMP pada masa pandemi Covid-19. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengambilan data yang digunakan adalah nonprobability-criterion sampling dan snowball sampling. Partisipan yang terlibat sebanyak 136 guru SMP di Jakarta. Analisis data yang dipaparkan berupa statistic deskriptif dan uji analisis menggunakan Independent-Sample T-Test, dan Mann-Whitney U. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi mengajar guru SMP di masa pandemi Covid-19 cenderung tinggi, namun masih terdapat sebesar 34.6% guru SMP yang tidak termotivasi untuk mengajar di masa pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini juga menemukan terdapat perbedaan regulasi motivasi mengajar pada guru SMP ditinjau dari tahap usia, pendapatan, serta jenis sekolah tempat guru mengajar. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa guru tingkat Sekolah Menengah Pertama termotivasi untuk mengajar selama masa pandemi Covid-19.Kata kunci: Motivasi mengajar, guru, Covid-19 Abstract: The Covid-19 pandemic has brought an impact on changing the learning system into a network (online) or distance learning, causing new challenges for teachers. To face these challenges, teaching motivation is needed by teachers as educators. This study aimed to provide an overview of the teaching motivation of junior high school teachers during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research type was descriptive quantitative. The data collection techniques used were nonprobability-criterion sampling and snowball sampling. Participants involved in this study were 136 junior high school teachers in Jakarta. Descriptive Statistics were used in this study and analysis using Independent-Sample T-Test, and Mann-Whitney U were also used. The results of this study indicated that the teaching motivation of junior high school teachers during the Covid-19 pandemic tends to be high, but there are still 34.6% of junior high school teachers who are not motivated to teach during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study also found that there were differences in teaching motivation regulations for junior high school teachers in terms of age, income, and the type of school where the teacher taught. Thus, it can be concluded that teachers in Junior High School are motivated to teach during the Covid-19 pandemic.Keywords: Teaching motivation, teacher, Covid-19.

Abstract

The existence of special needs students in the school can be perceived variously by the school community. The aimed of this study regarding gratitude to the students who attend the school setting inclusions, however students who become participants in this study is not the students with special needs. The psychological constructs in this research is gratitude. Gratitude is the appreciation experienced by individuals when somebody does something kind or helpful for them when looking at the existence of students with special needs in their classes. This research using non-experimental, quantitative descriptive. The research instrument used is the gratitude questionnaire-six item form (GQ-6) which is adapted to the context of the study (McCullough, Emmons & Tsang, 2016), consisting of six items. Participants were 340 persons (59.1% female and 40.9% male), and sampling technique using with non probability sampling or convenience. The results showed that there were no differences by gender in term of gratitude.Keywords: gratitude, students with special needs, inclusive education, students
