Abstract

Türkiye Burslar? is a scholarship program for international students, but who would have thought that the existence of this scholarship was in line with Turkey's public diplomacy mission and thus became the country's soft power? Indonesia, as a friendly country, is Turkey's main target in expanding its reputation and cultural promotion mission through Türkiye Burslar?, as evidenced by the government's policy in 2020 which plans to increase the quota for students from Indonesia. With its historical ties, similarities in religious identity, and cultural harmony, Turkey is certainly an alternative for Indonesian students to experience the experience of studying abroad. On the other hand, Indonesia, with its large population and GDP, is certainly Turkey's target in spreading its cultural values to create many agents who can fulfill national interests comprehensively from many sectors. This research seeks to analyze the influence and opportunities of the Türkiye Burslar? scholarship on Turkey's diplomatic relations with Indonesia in detail. The methodology used in this research is qualitative with references in the form of books, reports, and relevant journal articles according to the topic of Türkiye Burslar?'s role as Turkey's soft power and its relationship with Indonesia.

Abstract

Coronavirus (COVID-19) is a disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus by attacking the respiratory system in humans and because of the rapid spread of infection, WHO declared COVID-19 a pandemic. Over time, several types of vaccines have been discovered which are thought to minimize the possibility of infection. One of the vaccines is Pfizer. During the use of the Pfizer vaccine, there have been pros and cons caused by the side effects of using the vaccine. Therefore, sentiment analysis was carried out on public opinion with data sourced from tweets on Twitter. The method used in making the model is Convolutional Neural Network (CNN). This model has been successfully created and has been tested on 1158 training data and 773 test data. The training data obtained an accuracy level of 98.87 % and the test data obtained an accuracy level of 69.46%.

The Rise and fall of the Australian Agricultural Visa: An Analysis of Labor Migration Policies in the Context of Regional Geopolitics Allan Dharma Saputra

Abstract

This article examines how domestic political dynamics and regional geopolitical considerations influenced the rise and fall of Australia's short-lived Agricultural Visa (AAV) program aimed at recruiting workers from ASEAN countries. Employing a qualitative case study approach and drawing on neoliberal economic theory, securitization theory, and complex interdependence theory, the analysis reveals key tensions. The AAV's genesis reflected neoliberal narratives of filling labor shortages, but its demise exemplified concerns over worker exploitation and adverse impacts on local labor standards. The visa also became entangled in Australia's strategic rivalry with China in the Pacific, with labor migration becoming a securitized issue. Crucially, the case exposes challenges of policy coherence, as actions in the security domain strained Australia's ASEAN relationships. The findings underscore the need for holistic approaches balancing economic needs, worker rights, regional diplomacy, and evolving security dynamics when crafting labor migration policies amidst complex global interdependencies. The AAV's failure serves as a cautionary tale about piecemeal, politically expedient migration strategies disconnected from on-the-ground realities.

Abstract

The key to successful education as a process or learning activity lies in the teacher's competencies to build effective communication with students in their learning process. This study uses a case study method at Wardaya College and measures the effectiveness of interpersonal communication in the learning system based on various indicators (openness, empathy, supportiveness, positiveness and equality). The sample consisted of 5 teachers out of 26 teachers and 11 students out of 85 students. The results of the study show a gap between the opinions of teachers and students. Teachers believe they have engaged in interpersonal communication, provided methods that are easy for students to understand, demonstrated empathy, consistently offered motivational support, maintained a positive attitude, and positioned students themselves as equals during teaching and learning activities. However, this is not consistent with the opinions of some students. Some students stated that it was not easy to understand the communication from some teachers, not all teachers showed openness in interactions, empathy, or presented content in ways that captured students' attention, nor did they give recognition or appreciation for students' efforts, and displayed a positive attitude and equality. This gap indicates areas for improvement within the institution.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the influence of Person-Job Fit on Turnover Intention which is mediated by Work-Family Conflict and Work Engagement in fast food restaurant employees in East Jakarta. Using correlational research methods and hypothesis testing, this research involved 110-220 respondents selected through purposive sampling techniques. Data was collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Model (SEM) with AMOS software. The research results show that Person-Job Fit has no direct effect on Turnover Intention. However, there is a negative influence between Person-Job Fit on Work-Family Conflict and a positive influence on Work Engagement. Apart from that, Work-Family Conflict has a positive effect on Turnover Intention, while Work Engagement has a negative effect on Turnover Intention. This research provides insight for companies regarding the importance of match between job and employee to increase loyalty and reduce employee turnover intentions.

Abstract

One of the topic graph theories is graph labeling. Let be a finite simple connected graph, a bijection from to where and is called an edge-magic total labeling of if there exists a contant (called the magic sum of ) such that for any edge of . The super edge-magic total labeling on a graph is the edge-magic total labeling which maps into the set . Let be a connected graph with a fixed vertex . The vertex amalgamation of graph onto a fixed vertex called terminal denoted by is a graph formed by taking all elements (vertices and edges) in with . In this study, we will show that vertex amalgamation graphs of a star graph with a path graph are edge-magic total and super edge-magic total labeling, with constructed vertex labelings and edge labelings to obtain intervals of the magic sums .

Abstract

Internal Quality Consolidation (PMI) is a preventive and monitoring activity carried out by each laboratory continuously so that errors or deviations do not occur so that correct inspection results are obtained, one of which is carrying out quality control (QC) using the Westgard Rule and Six Sigma . The Westgard rule is used to see whether there are analytical errors that occur with the 12 S , 13 S , 22 S , R4 S , 41 S , 10 X series of rules . Six sigma is used to assess the quality of a laboratory's performance by looking at the minimum sigma value level with a value of 3? and a maximum of ?6?. This research aims to evaluate quality control (QC) results including accuracy, precision, Levey-Jennings control charts based on the Westgard rule , as well as six sigma values along with DPMO. The research method used was a quantitative descriptive method using secondary data from the results of examination of platelet and leukocyte control materials in January, February and March 2024. The calculation results from the accuracy (d%) and precision (CV%) values of platelet examination were 5.18% and 3.32%, while the leukocyte examination was -3.08% and 0.97%. Evaluation with the Westgard rule in platelet examination gets the 12s, 13s, 22s and 10x rules, while leukocyte examination gets the 12s and 13s rules. The six sigma and DPMO values for platelet examination were 5.97 and 5.4, 4.26 and 3.467, 4.71 and 687 while leukocyte examination were 18.64 and 0.001, 7.01 and 0.019, 9.6 and 0.001. This research can It was concluded that the examination of platelets and leukocytes had good accuracy and precision, there were control values that followed the Westgard rule , as well as six sigma values ? 3? and DPMO ?66.807.
