Abstract

Onion is one of predominant flavor in Indonesia culinary which its quantity should be increased contantly. The aim of research was to invesitigate the respond of onion growth toward the treatment combination between POC cabbage and Tree types of fruit skin. This research was performed in a Factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD), which consists of 2 treatment factors, namely: 1) compost 2) liquid organic fertilizer of cabbage waste. The parameters observed in this study were plant height, number of leaves, number of tubers per sample plant, production per sample, production per plot and percentage of plant disease attack. As for the results obtained from this study, namely: 1) Giving various types of fruit skin compost did not significantly affect height, number of leaves, number of tubers, production per sample plant and production per plot of onion plants; 2) liquid organic fertilizer cabbage application has no significant effect on height, number of leaves, number of tubers and production per sample plant, but has a significant effect on production per plot of onion plant; and 3) Combination between the fruits compost and the liquid organic fertilizer that is not real influence on the plant height, the number of leaves, the number of bulbs and production per crop samples, but the effect is very real towards production per plot of the anion plants

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of beef demand, the factors that affect beef demand and measure and identify the role of the elasticity of factors that affect beef demand. Sampling is done by simple random sampling. The data analysis method used is qualitative (descriptive) and quantitative analysis. The results showed that the demand for beef at the household level in Sei Sikambing B village, the average beef consumption was 2.2 kg / month. Simultaneously the test results show that the variable beef prices, fish prices, chicken meat prices, egg prices, the level of household income, the number of family members, and taste have a real impact on the amount of beef demand at a 95% confidence level. On the price of partial fish, the price of chicken cuts, the level of household income and tastes significantly influence the demand for beef at a 95% confidence level, while the variable beef prices, egg prices, and the number of family members do not significantly influence the demand for beef meat at the level 95% confidence. From the estimation that the determination value (R2) of 67.8% variation of the seven variables can explain the amount of beef demand, while the remaining 32.2% is influenced by other variables. Beef demand is not elastic to changes in beef prices.Keywords: Demand, Elasticity, Price, Beef, Income

Abstract

This study aims to determine the growth and yield of eggplant with chicken egg shell powder utilization and Kascing fertilizer, This research was conducted from March until the month of June 2019. The method used in this study is a randomized block design in factorial, with 2 (two) treatment factors, namely: 1) Factors dose of powdered chicken egg shells (C), which consists of five levels, namely: C0 = control ( without treatment); C1 = chicken egg shell powder 5 g / polybag; C2 = chicken egg shell powder 10 g / polybag; C3 = chicken egg shell powder 15 g / polybag; C4 = chicken egg shell powder 20 g / polybag; 2) Factors Kascing fertilizers (K), which consists of 4 levels, namely: K0 = control (no treatment); K1 = Kascing fertilizer with a dose of 10 ton / ha (25 g / polybag); K2 = Kascing fertilizer with a dose of 20 ton / ha (50 g / polybag); K3 = Kascing fertilizer with a dose of 30 ton / ha (75 g / polybag), each treatment was repeated two (2) times so that there are 40 experimental plots. Each experimental plot consisted of 5 plants with 3 plant samples. The parameters were observed in this study consisted of plant height, leaf area, number of flowers per sample, the number of fruit per sample, production per sample, production per plot and volume of roots. From the research that has been done can be concluded as follows: 1) Giving powder chicken egg shells effect no significant effect on plant height, leaf area, number of flowers / sample, the number of fruit / samples, production / sample production / plot and the volume of the roots of plants eggplant; 2) Fertilizer Kascing significant effect on plant height, leaf area and production / samples as well as very significant effect on the number of fruit / samples and production / plot, but no real effect on the number of flowers / plant samples eggplant; and 3) a combination of administration of a chicken egg shell powder and fertilizer Kascing no real effect on the growth and yield of eggplant.

Abstract

Utilization of Lamtoro Leaf Green Manure (Leucaena Leucocephala) and Banana Weevil Liquid Organic Fertilizer on Growth and Production of Long Beans (Vigna Sinensis L). Under the guidance of Mr. Ir.H.Gusmiezal,MP as chairman and Mr. Ir .H.Abdul Rahman, MS as a member. The study was conducted in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Medan Area. Percut Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra in July-October 2021. The study used a factorial randomized block design (RAK), with 2 (2) treatment factors, namely; the first is (1) the factor of giving lamtoro leaf green manure with 4 (4) levels of treatment, namely; L0 = without treatment (control) L1 = dose of 10 tons/ha (1.44 kg/plot) L2 = dose of 20 tons/ha (2.88 kg/plot) L3 = dose of 30 tons/ha (4, 32 kg/ha)The second (2) factor for giving liquid organic green Pupuh Banana weevil, namely; P0 = without organic fertilizer (control) P1 = application of organic fertilizer with a concentration of 5% P2 = application of organic fertilizer with a concentration of 10% P3 = application of organic fertilizer with a concentration of 15%. Parameters observed were: Plant height (cm), Stem diameter (cm). Flowering age (days). Production per plant (g). Production per plot (kg). The results showed that the green manure of lamtoro leaves showed significant results in the L3 treatment with a dose of 30 tons/ha (4.32 kg/plot) and for the application of liquid organic fertilizer the Banana Bonggol gave significant results in the P3 treatment with a concentration of 15%. For the combination of the 2 treatments, the real treatment was L1P3 (Lamtoro application with Banana weevil POC).

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the feasibility of the financial and non-financial aspects of Mandiri tofu business. Data analysis methods used are qualitative (legal, environmental, market and marketing, technical and management and human resource aspects) and quantitative to analyze financial aspects through four investment criteria, namely NPV, IRR, Net B / C, payback period. Non-financial aspects of the legal aspect are unfeasible because the Business Ownership Permit only has a Letter of Submission of Land Tenure by Compensation. The management aspect isn’t feasible because this business doesn’t yet have a good financial record and doesn’t have an organizational structure. Environmental aspects aren’t feasible because it discharges its wastewater directly to the nearest river without special treatment. The financial analysis used NPV value obtained at Rp 109,897,985, Net B / C at 2.02, IRR at 49.26%, and payback period for three years and ten months eleven days on the first investment and NPV value obtained at Rp 66,127,532, Net B / C is 1.25, IRR is 34.06%, and the payback period is two years ten months and thirteen days on the second investment. Financial and non-financial aspects state Mandiri tofu business is feasible to except in legal, management, and environmental aspects.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine what factors influenced the demand for ornamental plants in Bangun Sari Village. The sample in this study is the ornamental plants in Bangun Sari Village. The population of crop farmers consists of 315 farmers. Samples taken as much as 10% of the total population of 32 farmers. Then the sample taken in this study is consumers from32 ornamental plat farmers who are buying at the study site, determined purposively, namely 1 consumer from sample farmers. Based on the Uji F results simultaneously the price of ornamental plants, income and tastes significantly influence the demand for ornamental plants in Bangun Sari Village. Based on the results of the Uji t that partially the price of ornamental plats and consumer tastes significantly influence the demand for ornamental plants and income don’t significantly influence the demand for ornamental plants in Bangun Sari Village, Tanjung Morawa District, Deli Serdang Regency.

Abstract

Oyster mushroom is one of the most popular consumed mushrooms and also gives benefit for the body because it contains high nutrition and low fat. The goal of this research was to know and analyse the increase growth of some varieties of oyster mushroom on the bagasse media by adding molasses and tofu dregs. The research method was completely factorial randomized design (RAL Factorial) with two factors. The first factor was the media composition of sawdust and bagasse powder and The second factor was oyster musroom. The data analysis was tested by Anova and continued with duncan test if the results of variance were significantly different to very real. The results showed that the best treatment for mycelium growth on M1 media (100% bagasse + 1% molasses + 6% tofu dregs) with the best combination M2V3 (75% bagasse + 25% sawdust + 1% molasses + tofu dregs 6% on brown oyster mushroom). The largest stem diameter for V1 (white oyster mushroom) was 9.24 cm at the first harvest, and 9.01 cm the second harvest. The best length of the stalk in V3 variety (brown oyster mushroom) was 4.94 cm at the first harvest and 5.11 cm the second harvest. The best treatment on oyster mushroom production showed that variety V1 (white oyster mushroom) showed high production at the first harvest 130.25 grams and the second harvest 132.83 grams.

Abstract

This study aims to the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats to the marketing of cassava chip home industry and to determine the marketing strategy of cassava  chip  home  industry  stamp  rabbit  chips  in  Tanjung  Morawa  District,  Deli Serdang  Regency.  The research method used was Snowball Sampling.  Research samples were 33 samples. Based on the research, one producer was found, then two traders from the producer, then five retailers took from the collecting trader, and twenty- five consumers who bought from the retailer of cassava stamp rabbit chips. Data collection methods use primary and secondary data.  Data analysis method used is descriptive analysis with the SWOT analysis method by identifying internal. Avoid referrals and unusual evaluation (IFE) and identifying external factor evaluation (EFE), followed by searching for the right strategy through the IE matrix and the SWOT matrix. The results of this study indicate that rabbit stamp cassava chips in Tanjung Morawa Subdistrict Deli Serdang Regency which is running a progressive strategy signifies a strong effort and opportunity to be developed. By taking an SO strategy from the results of the questionnaire, it can be obtained by maintaining and maintaining the superiority of the product can increase the demand for cassava chips rabbit stamp is getting higher, and utilizing a strategic location and the possibility of increasing collection traders, making it easier for the process to market the product to retailers abbreviations. Abstract

Bitter melon is fast-growing favorable vegetable these days. Nevertheless, there is limited study about it. The study aims to determine the Response of Giving Bokhasi Cow Cages and Various Organic Mulch Against Growth and Production of Bitter Melon. The study was conducted at the University of Medan Area Experimental Garden on Jl. PBSI No.1 Medan Estate with a height of 23 meters above sea level. The design used in the study was a factorial Split Plot Design (RPT) consisting of 2 factors. The first factor is the provision of organic mulch which is placed as the main plot of 4 treatments, namely: M0: without mulch, M1: rice straw mulch, M2: alang-alang Mulch, M3: rice husk mulch and the second factor is the provision of cattle cages placed as a subplot of 4 treatments, namely: B0: without bokhasi cowshed, B1: bokhasi cowshed 10 tons/ha, B2: bokhasi cowshed 20 tons/ha, B3: bokhasi cowshed 30 tons/ha. This research with 3 replications. Observation parameters of plant height, number of leaves, fruit length, number of fruits, fruit wrap, sample weight, and plot weight. The results showed that: 1) Organic mulch administration significantly affected plant height observations with the best treatment of M1 (rice straw mulch). 2) Giving bokhasi cowshed significantly affected all parameters. 3) The results of the interaction analysis have a significant effect on observing the weight of the sample with the best treatment of M3B3 (rice husk mulch + bokhasi cattle cage 30 tons /ha).

Abstract

Demand is a person's needs and desires for goods and services at various times at various price levels. Demand is a process of requesting something or a number of goods to be purchased or requested at a certain price and time. Demand is influenced by several factors, namely taste, price and quality. In this research, the author wants to discuss the factors that influence the demand for sale banana chips in Teratak Perkebunan Sei Bejangkar Village and how these factors influence the demand for sale banana chips in Teratak Perkebunan Sei Bejangkar Village. In this research the author used a quantitative descriptive method with a questionnaire instrument. This research explains the factors that influence the demand for sale banana chips and how these factors influence the demand for sale banana chips. In this research, the results showed that taste, price and quality significantly influence the demand for sale banana chips in Teratak Perkebunan Sei Bejangkar Village. Price is a factor that has a greater influence than taste and quality on the demand for sale banana chips in Teratak Perkebunan Sei Bejangkar Village.
