Abstract

SDGs is the world program which is agreed by 193 nations in September 2015 consist of 17 goals, 169 targets and 241 indicators in social dimension coverage, economic and environment, law and governance. The purpose of this research is to study which indicators of SDGs that can be supported its achievement by Civil Engineering Department of Islamic University of Kuantan Singingi. The study has been done by desk review method; which is collecting data technique and information through checking and data analyzing. Form documents of Civil Engineering Department of Islamic University of Kuantan Singingi year 2017; Academic Guidebook, Strategic Plan of Civil Engineering Department of Islamic University of Kuantan Singingi, Strategic Plan Documents of Civil Engineering Department of Islamic University of Kuantan Singingi and Operational Plan Documents of Civil Engineering Department of Islamic University of Kuantan Singingi. Based on desk review, it can be concluded that the Civil Engineering Department of Islamic University of Kuantan Singingi could provided the achievement acceleration of 10 goals and 24 indicators

Abstract

Guidance Practical oriented Chemoentrepreneurship can be used as teaching materials to help students cultivate practical and entrepreneurial interests. The aims of this research is to create Guidance Practical oriented Chemoentrepreneurship were then tested the validity and practicality that can be used as teaching materials in learning Chemistry grade XI SMA / MA. Type of this research is the Research and Development (R & D). Development model used is 4-D models that consists of four steps : define, design, develop, and disseminate. Guidance Practical oriented Chemoentrepreneurship was validated by 6 validators and practicality was tested by 2 teachers of chemistry and 30 students of class XI IPA SMAN 9 Padang academic year 2016/2017. The results of the analysis average moment kappa was 0.86 with highest category. The test results based on questionnaire responses teacher practicality average moment kappa was 0.92 and a test based on the practicality of student questionnaire responses average moment kappa was 0.82 which are in very highest category. Based on these results of the research, it can be conclude Guidance Practical oriented Chemoentrepreneurship was valid and practical in the learning chemistry process on the second semester grade XI SMA / MA.

Abstract

Pulau Cawan Village, Mandah has great potential in the Fisheries sector. This study examines the readiness of social and economic factors of the Pulau Cawan Village community in carrying out the Crab (Scylla Serrata) culture with the Minamangrove model. This research is carried out qualitatively. Farming of Crab (Scylla Serrata) with the Minamangrove Model in Pulau Cawan Village is considered feasible because it is supported by Social Aspects. In-depth interviews with the community, community leaders, and village government. Farming of Crab (Scylla Serrata) using the Minamangrove model can be applied in Pulau Cawan Village because from the aspect of the human resources of the people of Pulau Cawan Village it is considered easy to implement and easy to know and process. Besides this farming also demands environmental preservation in line with the Vision of Pulau Cawan Village. The advantage of farming is that fishermen can control the quality, health and size of Crab (Scylla Serrata).

Abstract

Silfovishery is a fishery farming model that maintains the natural habitat of mangrove forests as a living medium for biota. The Indragiri Hilir Regency Government through the Fisheries Service in the 2018 budget year conducted a feasibility study of crab farming using the silvofishery method. In addition, Indragiri Hilir Regency is also very enthusiastic in carrying out the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in accordance with the mandate of Presidential Regulation Number 59 of 2017 concerning Implementation of the Achievement of Sustainable Development Goals. this study is a desk review of planning cultivation activities with silvofishry and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals. The implementation of aquaculture with silvofishery models can support the achievement of SDGs in the Environmental Pillar (5 indicators), Social (2 indicators) and Economy (1 indicator).

Abstract

This SDGs Data Mapping exercise helps us to estimate readiness of Rokan Hulu in applying proposed SDGs indicators to measure SDGs targets; for which indicator data improvement is required and where the data gaps exist. SDGs consist of 17 goals, 169 targets and 241 Indicators (222 Indicator for District). In order to be able to measure the achievements of the SDGs targets, set of indicators are required and data needs to be available to apply those indicators. The exercise was conducted through desk review method by mapping for each SDGs Target existing relevant indicators used or proposed in the local documents: Rokan Hulu Medium- Term Development Plan 2016 - 2021(RPJMD) and others relevant documents as required. The indicators mapping then followed by data mapping for each indicator based on the availabity and quality of data from Statistics Agency (BPS) and line Agencies. The indicators mapping showed 8,11% Similiar and 10,36% Proxy.

Abstract

Clean water is an important part of human life, so the availability of clean water is very influential for human life. The effect of the availability of clean water is not only on household needs, but also on the social, economic, and public facilities sectors, along with increasing population growth. Transfer Village is a village located in Keritang District with a village area of ​​77.15 Km2, with a population in 2015 of 7,146 people. With the increasing number of population each year getting higher, the need for clean water also increases. Pipeline design using the EPANET 2.0 application is expected to be able to answer the need for minung water in the study area. From the results of the study it was found that the discharge of clean water projection results in 2025 with 100% service level and 90 liters / person / day needs, average needs in the amount of 13.02 liters / second, the maximum daily requirement is 14.97 liters / second and the peak hour requirement is 21.48 liters / second

Abstract

The Indonesian Government's commitment to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is seen in the Republic of Indonesia Presidential Regulation Number 59 of 2017 on the Implementation of SDGs Achievement which provides a mandate to integrate SDGs into the development agenda. At present Indragiri Hilir Regency is drafting a Regional Regulation Plan on the Subnational Mid-Term Development Plan. This study can be a reference in the preparation of the SDGs Regional Action Plan. The findings of this study are 18 Harmonized Indicators and 26 Proxy Indicators.

Abstract

The one of implementation of a wireless network is based on mobile broadband technology Long Term Evolution (LTE), which offered a variety of advantages, especially in terms of accessing speed, capacity, architectural simplicity and ease of implementation, as well as the breadth of choice of the type of user equipment (UE) that could access the LTE. The majority of internet connections in the world occurred by using the TCP (Transmission Control Protocol), this is caused by TCP reliability in transmitting packets in the network. TCP reliability lied in the ability to control congestion. TCP was originally designed for wired media, but LTE connected through a wireless medium that was not stable in comparing to wired media. A wide variety of TCP made to produce a better performance than its predecessor. In this study, the researcher was simulated the performance that provided by the TCP NewReno and TCP Vegas based on the simulation using network simulator version 2 (ns2). TCP performance is analyzed in terms of throughput and end-to-end delay. The simulation result that obtained from throughput TCP NewReno had an average throughput about 1033.34 kbps and received packets of 4594 bits and the average throughput on TCP Vegas was about 912 624 kbps and received packets of 4161 bits, then the results of the simulation delay obtained, the average delay on TCP Vegas was about 4768.66 ms, and the average delay on TCP NewReno was about 4864.21 ms. Both the analysis throughput and end-to-end delay performed by time for 0 to 60 second.

Abstract

Reducing the risk of forest fires needs to be assessed and improved the patterns and practices of forest resource management and the people who live around the forest. This must be formulated in a coping strategy so that the risk of forest fires is reduced. This research aims to explore information on efforts to prevent and combat land fires that have been carried out by the community and the Fire Concern Community group in Rimbo Panjang Village, Kampar Regency, Riau Province; Knowing the potential availability of groundwater on peatlands at the location of land fires; and Assessing the peatland fire extinguisher system by making fire extinguisher wells quickly, precisely and accurately at the location of the fire. The method used in this research is qualitative and quantitative. Qualitative data based on questionnaire analysis from relevant stakeholders. While the quantitative one is calculating the availability of water in the location of peatland fires. Based on the analysis, it was found that the efforts to prevent and overcome land fires that have been carried out by the community and the Fire Concern Community group before the fire occurred are to create water reservoirs (canal blocking, storage ponds, etc.); (ii) the time of fire is finding water for fire fighting and (iii) after the fire is Fire Law Enforcement. The potential availability of groundwater obtained at 1066,167 m3 / day can be used to extinguish fires in peatlands. Efforts are made to get this water is by making fire extinguishing wells quickly, precisely and accurately at the location of the fire using a mobile water digger.

Abstract

Availability of wood with properties suitable for bridge construction is increasingly scarce. The reason is the diminishing size of the forest as a source of timber. To anticipate this, an innovation is needed by utilizing wood that is still widely available, but its nature does not meet the requirements. The method used is the application of wood composites as the raw material for bridge construction. In this regard, the purpose of this study is to examine the behavior of class I and class III wood composites. To achieve these objectives, wood composite applications are used as raw material for bridge construction The results of flexural testing of meranti-balau composite wood samples with a composition of 10% high grade wood obtained an average flexural strength of 559.89 kg / cm2 (E11). Meranti-balau composite wood with a composition of 20% high grade wood obtained an average flexural strength of 597.79 kg / cm2 (E11). Whereas meranti-balau composite wood with 30% high grade wood composition obtained an average flexural strength of 673.92 kg / cm2 (E13). This of course can provide alternative substitution for the use of strong-grade wood that has been difficult to find. So it can be concluded that the use of class I and class III composite wood is suitable for bridge structures with a maximum load of 500 kg.
