Abstract

Orbital perturbation refers to the phenomenon where a satellite's orbit undergoes changes due to external influences like variations in Earth's gravitational field, gravitational interactions with the Moon, impacts from meteoroids or other objects, and the pressure exerted by solar radiation. To address these changes and maintain their intended orbits, satellites utilize small onboard thrusters. These thrusters are fired in specific directions to make course corrections, but this action consumes the fuel that the satellite carries from Earth. Over the past three decades, communication satellites have played a crucial role in global communication. In the 1960s, their primary mission was to enable point-to-point transmissions between continents. They achieved this by being positioned in geostationary orbits, which are located just above the equator and allow them to constantly observe approximately one third of the Earth's surface.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine social support and its relevance to the self-control of specially assisted adolescents at class II institutions in Pekanbaru. The background of this research is because there are mostly teenagers who experience various psychological mental conflicts such as insults, threats or pressure, hurt and are easily offended so that they are easily ignited by uncontrolled emotions. This research is a quantitative research by distributing questionnaires to 86 respondents aged adolescents in the Pekanbaru class II special children's development institution. Data from the results of this questionnaire were then processed through SPSS (Statistical Product and Solution) 17.0 for windows with r table 0.215 so that r count was 0.631 so that r count was greater than r table. From the results of this study, a correlation coefficient of 0.631 was obtained at Sig (2-tailed) = 0.000, it turned out that Sig > 0.05 (0.631 > 0.05) then Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. The magnitude of the correlation value in the product moment interpretation table is 0.60-0.799 indicating a strong correlation category. Thus based on the alternative hypothesis (Ha) there is a relevance of support for the self-control of specially assisted adolescents in class II Pekanbaru institutions.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the process skills approach on student learning outcomes in the subject matter of geometric optics and its application in class XI at Senior High School State 2 Percut Sei Tuan Y.S. 2021/2022. This type of research is quasi-experimental research. The population in the study were all students of class XI, Odd Semester, Senior High School Senior High School State 2 Percut Sei Tuan Y.S. 2021/2022 which consists of 6 classes totaling 216 people. Sampling was carried out by cluster random sampling by taking 2 classes out of 3 classes randomly, namely class XI-2 as the experimental class and class X-1 as the control class, each class consisting of 36 people. The instrument used to determine student learning outcomes is a learning outcomes test in the form of multiple choices with a total of 20 questions. The results of the pre-test test before being given different treatment, namely the value in the experimental class was 27.97 with a standard deviation of 11.57 and the value in the control class was 31.76 with a standard deviation of 11.62. In testing the pretest data for both classes, it was found that the data for both classes were normally distributed, homogeneous and had the same initial abilities. Then they were given treatment, namely the experimental class was taught by learning the process skills approach and the control class was taught by conventional learning approaches. After learning is finished, the post-test is given, the post-test score is obtained with an average result of the experimental class of 80.68 with a standard deviation of 9.87 and the control class of 68.92 with a standard deviation of 10.35. From the post-test data processing results it is obtained that tcount = 5.05 and ttable = 1.668, so that tcount > ttable (5.05 > 1.668) then Ha is accepted, thus there is an influence on the learning outcomes of students who are taught with the process skills approach on the subject matter of geometric optics and its application to class XI Senior High School Statei 2 Percut Sei Tuan Y.S. 2021/2022.

Abstract

This paper focuses on addressing the challenge of monitoring water reservoirs located at high altitudes where direct inspection of water conditions is difficult. To tackle this issue, the research employs a system for real-time control and monitoring. Specifically, the system utilizes a waterflow sensor to measure water flow, an ultrasonic sensor to determine water levels, and a TDS sensor to detect water turbidity. These sensors are connected to an Arduino Atmega 2560. The control logic for filling the reservoir with water is implemented using the Mamdani type fuzzy logic method, which incorporates rules based on water level readings. Moreover, the study integrates IoT (Internet of Things) technology to enable remote monitoring of water levels and turbidity via smartphones. The study's results demonstrate that IoT technology greatly facilitates real-time remote monitoring of reservoir conditions. The trial data indicate an impressive 97% success rate in controlling the water filling process, with an average error of less than 15%. This successful approach can be applied effectively to create a smart home water reservoir control and monitoring system.

The uniqueness of goods available on the internet or marketplace has varied. The more unique the item, the faster it will sell well. Delivery service is also needed to accommodate the delivery of goods. Because of the limitations of mobility, currently most people prefer to shop online rather than shopping directly to shopping centers. As online shop users, they will certainly hesitate in choosing a shipping service, and considering some factors in choosing shipping. Factors starting from the price, packaging of goods, shipping time, system services make users confused in choosing the best courier. The purpose of this study is to provide information to users in choosing the best shipping service by applying the Simple Additive Weighting method to calculate the case for selecting the type of goods delivery and physical analysis in purchasing goods online as a support for shipping goods.

Abstract

PT TTO is classified as a new company, in terms of quality management it still does not have a strategy and professional standards for quality management, so research is needed to identify risks in quality management in cashew nut production. To produce consistent product quality to encourage the realization of the goals and values of the company . This study uses the interview method to obtain information related to risks in quality management and classify risk events from the pre-production stage, the production process stage and the post-production stage. Processing uses the calculation of Risk Priority Numbers by grouping risks based on the impact of the risk occurrence (Severity), the frequency of occurrence of the risk (Occurance), and the probability of the risk being detected before it occurs (D). Based on the calculation of the RPN value based on the production stages, namely the pre-production stage, the production process stage, and the post-production stage. Where at the time of calculating and ranking the risk agents, it was found that the pre-production stage had risk events and risk agents with the top order. That is, there is a discrepancy in raw material specifications due to crop failure by farmers in the first place (RPN value of 280) and raw materials sent by farmers are not in accordance with the opportunity (RPN value of 256). As for the next order at the stage of the production process with the risk of non-compliance with specifications due to errors in production labeling for grading and production date
