Abstract

This article discusses Indonesia and Turkey's diplomacy in enhancing economic cooperation, a case study of the Indonesia-Turkey Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (IT-CEPA). Globalization is very influential in the development of the country's economy. In increasing Indonesia's competitiveness, it cannot be separated from the regional or global level. The global economic slowdown in 2015 also had a major impact on the Indonesian economy, particularly in the trade sector. To improve the country's economy, Indonesia understands with Turkey in the Indonesia-Turkey Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (IT-CEPA) which has been going on for four rounds since it was signed in 2017. This article is compiled from qualitative research and aims to explain how economic diplomacy between Indonesia and Turkey is established through the Indonesia-Turkey Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (IT-CEPA). The data is obtained through previous case studies and enriched with writings related to Indonesia's economic diplomacy obtained from books, scientific articles and popular articles accessed through the internet.

Abstract

Odontology forensic is a branch of forensics science as well as dentistry that handles, examines, and evaluates dental evidence in effort of complying the interest of justice. The ability of dental evidence to be used as an identification tool is very possible as the fact of how durable teeth are. There are several methods to examine the dental evidence in effort to conduct an identification. However, there are circumstances in which histological examination is the only method that can be conducted. This led to the aim of this study. To review histological examination in teeth as sex determination method and to discuss its exclusivity compared to other methods. This literature used journals and textbooks with keywords according to the topic of discussion. Data obtained from different search engines such as Google Scholar, PubMed, Springer and NCBI. A total of 27 journals and 3 textbooks skimmed and narrowed down in to the 12 journals and 1 textbook. Narrowing down the data are necessary as information attained are similar to avoid redundancy. There are two findings that are targeted when it comes to histological examination of the tooth in order to determine one’s sex. They are F bodies and Barr bodies. Both targets appear in sample obtained from the dental pulpal tissue. Further, histological examination as a sex determination method is critical to be develop. Especially in times whereas the other methods are not reliable enough due to limited sample inclusion and cost. It is important to understand histological examination in forensic dentistry.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine analysis of differences in audits with recency patterns and audits without patterns on tax compliance. This study uses a quantitative approach using primary data. The data in this study were obtained using the experimental method. Students who participate in this study consist of several criteria to support the success of the experiment, first, students must come from the economics and business faculties with bachelor, master, and doctoral education levels. Second, students have completed taxation courses and have general knowledge of taxation. Thus, students who act as taxpayers will be able to fulfill the scenario in answering the research questions. Hypothesis testing is carried out to provide answers to problems in the research that has been prepared. The test tool used for each hypothesis in this study is the mann-whitney test. The results show that there is differences between audits with recency patterns and audits without patterns on tax compliance.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the types of felicity condition in the Raya and The Last Dragon movie. This study used a qualitative method in which the data collected by watching the movie and transcribe the dialogue performed by the characters. The data that is used in this paper are Raya and The Last Dragon movie and its transcript. The findings revealed five types of felicity condition which is essential condition (21.27 %), sincerity condition (27.65 %), preparatory condition (17.02 %), propositional content condition (23.4 %), and general condition (10.63 %).

Abstract

In English, the form of singular nouns is commonly different from those of plural ones. Many students are confused about how to construct the irregular plural noun forms. The formation of irregular plural nouns has complex and unique patterns. This current study aims to get information about the types of errors commonly made by EFL learners in constructing irregular plural nouns and to know how the errors occurred. This study used descriptive qualitative applying error analysis theory. The result of the analysis shows that the errors made by the respondents can be classified into three types: 22 data for misformation, 10 data for addition, and 3 data for omission, Misformation was the kind of error most respondents made.  The error specifically occurred with the nouns that had quite dissimilar plural forms from the singular ones (e.g., foot – feet, goose – geese).

Abstract

The impact of Covid-19 has been felt in the food and beverages sector, which is mostly run by micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) (Thaha, 2020). Gojek is an application that is currently being used by the public. The Go-food feature on Gojek makes food and beverages MSME businesses start to be helped by the e-service quality, sales promotion, and e-security offered by this application. This study aims to find the influence between the variables of e-service quality, sales promotion, and e-security with the decision to use the application. In this study, researchers used quantitative research. The population in this study were people in Salatiga who had used the Go-Food application. The number of samples used were 200 samples and the sampling technique used was purposive sampling and the instrument used in the questionnaire was the Likert scale. The data were tested using multiple linear analysis techniques. After testing, the results show that e-service quality, sales promotion, and e-security have a significant influence on decisions to use online delivery service applications.

Abstract

This paper analyzes the ideas of one of the foremost Arab thinkers, Muhammad Abed al-Jabiri. As a leading Moroccan Muslim thinker, Al-Jâbirî offers three approaches (bayânî, burhânî, and 'irfânî) to Islamic studies. This paper aims to provide an understanding of the three approaches. The type of research used is library research. The results showed that; 1) Bayani reason places text (revelation) as an absolute truth, 2) knowledge is obtained by conscience, where with a pure heart, it is hoped that God will bestow knowledge directly to Him, 3) Burhani upholds intellectual abilities in the form of senses, experience, reason and ratio in an effort to achieve and prove this knowledge and truth.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is effect of financial inclusion and financial literacy on the financial performance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises in Ambon City. The type of research used is a quantitative research method. The population in this study is the perpetrators of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises in Ambon City who are registered with the cooperatives service with a total of 19,783 micro, small, and medium enterprises actors. So the research sample is 100 respondents. The method of analysis in this study uses multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study show that financial inclusion has a positive and significant effect on financial performance. Financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on financial performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze and investigate the various forms of Kimmy Jayanti's used code switching in the NET TV program "iLook," utilizing the code switching theory presented by (Dewi, 2021). The goals of this study are to 1) analyze the dominant types of code switching, and 2) to explain what are the functions of code switching used by Kimmy Jayanti her language in the "iLook" program on NET TV. This study used a qualitative method and the data were collected from the script of episode. The result of this study shows that there are three types of code switching used by Kimmy Jayanti in "iLook" program on NET TV: in detail, there are 1 intra-sentential switching, 2 inter-sentential switching, and 2 tag switching. There are 7 reasons of Kimmy Jayanti code switch her language: 1 data of talking about a particular topic, 1 data of quoting somebody else, 1 data of  showing empathy about something, 1 data of interjection, 1 data of repetition used for clarification, 1 data of expressing group identity, and 1 data of clarifying the speech content.

Abstract

Advertising is one of the most influential media for selling a product, especially in this digital era. Advertising has a huge impact on a company or individual to market their products. When opening social media, there are so many ads that appear, and it is the quirky ads that can attract the attention of people who see it. One of the interesting advertisements is that there is a slogan that makes readers curious about the product. The most of the sentences in the slogan are difficult for readers to understand which makes readers curious and want to find out more about the product. This study used a qualitative method where the process and meaning are more highlighted in this study. The theoretical basis is used as a guide so that the research focus is in accordance with the facts. The main theory used in this paper is the Seven Types of Meaning by Leech (1981). The result of this study finds that five data in this paper, all of them contain associative meanings, three of them are affective meanings and two of them are connotative meanings.
