Abstract

The objective of this research is to determine the effect of family work conflict, work family conflict and job stress in influencing the nurse job performance in hospital, as well as to determine whether family work conflict, work family conflict variables can be influenced by job stress in nurse performance in hospital. The results of this study are expected to be used as a consideration for the hospital in evaluating the level of service to patients. This research is a quantitative causal research that allows to know the relationship that is influential between two or more variables by using SEM (Structural Equation Modeling). The population in this research is all female nurse who work at hospital in Metro (Muhammadiyah Hospital, Ahmad Yani Hospital, Mardiwaluyo Hospital, Islamic Hospital), while the study sample was 120 respondents with a non probability sampling purposive sampling method as a sampling method. Based on the results of the study that family work conflict has no positive effect on job stress. And also work family conflict has positive effect on job. Job stress has positive effect on job performance. In this study also shows that family work conflict has a negative effect on job performance. Work family conflict are also has postive effect on job performance. The implication of this research is that conflict of commitment and responsibility towards family is a key value in work family conflict. Recommendations in this reseacrh is for the hospitals to hold employee recreation activities with their families, it means that hospital get to know the families of the employees in order to tight the bonds between employees and their families

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of organizational culture and work ethic on employee performance in the Department of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries of the Special Region of Yogyakarta. This research was conducted in March to April 2019. The sample used in this study were all employees, amounting to 57 people. The sampling technique uses the saturated sample method or takes the entire total population. Data collection methods used were qualitative using a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques in this study used the analysis of the research instrument test, classic assumption test, multiple linear regression test, partial test (t test), simultaneous test (f test), and coefficient of determination test. Multiple linear analysis is used to test the hypothesis of this study. The results showed that: (1) Organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on employee performance (Y), as evidenced by the t-count value of organizational culture of 2.986> t-table 2.004. (2) Work ethic has a positive and significant effect on employee performance (Y), as evidenced by the value of t-work ethic of 0.386 > t-table 2.004. (3) Organizational culture and work ethics simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance as evidenced by the f-count value of 22.723 > f-table 3.16. The adjusted R square variant value = 0.437 or 43.7%, meaning that the organizational culture and work ethic variables are able to explain the employee performance variable of 43.7%, while the remaining 56.3% is explained by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of transactional leadership style and compensation on employee performance mediated by work motivation on the employees of the Sleman Regency. Sampling in this study uses probability method because the population of employees in the Regional Water Supply Company (PDAM) Sleman Regency is quite a lot to be studied. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire distributed by the Director of PDAM Sleman. Data analysis techniques using the application SPSS version 21 include validity test, reliability test, descriptive statistics, classic assumption test, multiple linear regression test, hypothesis test, and coefficient of determination. The results of this study indicate that the transactional leadership style variable has a positive and significant effect on work motivation, compensation has a positive and significant effect on work motivation, transactional leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, compensation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, transactional leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee performance mediated by motivation, compensation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance mediated by motivation. The most dominant influence is work motivation variable, then compensation variable is followed

Abstract

This study aims to analysis determine the effect of sales promotion, display product, and store atmosphere on impulse buying at the Ramayana Department Store Yogyakarta. This research was conducted at the Ramayana Department Store Yogyakarta in November 2018 until June 2019. This research was a quantitative study with 80 respondents. Data collection techniques is done by questionnaires and observation. The analysis technique used in this study uses multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study concluded that sales promotion, display product, and store atmosphere has a positive and sign effect on impulse buying through partial testing and simultaneous testing.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the effect of liquidity, profitability, leverage, operating capacity, and managerial agency costs on financial distress in manufacturing companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange. The research period used was 2015-2017. The type of this research was associative causal with quantitative approach. The population of this study includes all manufacturing companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, and obtained as many as 84 companies, consists of 42 companies that experienced financial distress, and 42 companies that didn’t experience financial distress as comparison company. Data analysis conducted through logistic regression. Based on this research, it was concluded that liquidity proxied by current ratio had no effect to financial distress. Profitability proxied by return on asset had no effect on financial distress. Leverage proxied by debt to asset ratio had a significant and possitiveeffect on financial distress. Operating capacity proxied with total asset turnover had no effect on financial distress. Managerial Agency costs had no effect on financial distress. The Nagelkerke R Square’s score in this study was 0.491 which means that the ability of liquidity, profitability, leverage, operating capacity, and managerial agency were able to explain the variable of financial distress condition by 49.1%. The remaining of 50.9% dependent variables were explained by other factors outside the model.

Abstract

Celebrity endorser has become one popular approach for marketing communication. This study aims to determine the effect of using celebrity endorser on customer’s buying intentions. This study focus on variables on celebrity endorser which are trust, honesty, and attractiveness and their effect on customer’s buying intentions. Object of this study are customers of fruit flavored tea product. Data collection technique is questionnaire that are distributed to customers at productive age in Bantul Regency Yogyakarta. By using SPSS to analyze the data, this study found that Celebrity Endorser’s variables which are trust, honesty, and attractiveness have a positife effect on customer’s buying interest.

Abstract

Students in the millennial era now have many who run the business. Entrepreneurial spirit slowly grows in students. Not infrequently, many students study while doing entrepreneurship. The entrepreneurial spirit in this study refers to the explanation (Meredith, 1992 ) of the region. The entrepreneurial spirit that is owned by oneself consists of self-confidence, task-oriented, and outcome, dare to take risks, have leadership spirit, originality (authenticity) of business, and oriented into the future. The purpose of this study is to find out and explain the comparison of the Entrepreneurial Spirit in the department of sharia accounting and sharia economics. This type of research is a comparative descriptive study with a quantitative approach. Retrieving data using online questionnaires distributed to students majoring in accounting and economics sharia IAIN Sheikh Nurjati Cirebon. A sample is used as much as 186 people from the respondents accounting majors sharia as much as 93 and majoring in Islamic economics as much as 93. Whereas the data analysis uses descriptive analysis, inferential analysis, and one way ANOVA to compare. The results showed that there was no difference between the spirit of entrepreneurship in the department of sharia accounting and sharia economics.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the relationship between procedural and informational justice and interpersonal deviations. Specifically, this study hypothesizes that: (a) There is a negative relationship between procedural justice and interpersonal deviation behavior, (b) There is a negative relationship between informational justice and interpersonal deviationbehavior. To test the hypothesis, SPSS was used to analyze survey data from 124 hospital nurses at public private hospitals in Yogyakarta. The results show that all hypotheses are proven. And furthermore, this study produces suggestions both theoretically and practically.

Abstract

This study aim was to determine the effect of e-service quality, price perception, and sales promotion on customer loyalty through customer satisfaction on Gojek customers in Yogyakarta. This research is a quantitative study with survey method. The population in this study were Gojek customers in Yogyakarta. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, with a total sample of 235 respondents. The technique of collecting data used an online questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis technique used to test the hypothesis was bootstrapping method using macro PROCESS by Andrew F. Hayes. The results of this study show that there is a positive effect of e-service quality on the satisfaction of Gojek Yogyakarta customers, there is a positive effect of price perception on the satisfaction of Gojek Yogyakarta customers, there is a positive effect of sales promotion on the satisfaction of Gojek Yogyakarta customers, there is a positive effect of customer satisfaction on the loyalty of Gojek Yogyakarta customers, there is a positive effect of e-service quality on the loyalty of Gojek Yogyakarta customers, there is a positive effect of price perception on the loyalty of Gojek Yogyakarta customers, there is a positive effect of sales promotion on the loyalty of Gojek Yogyakarta customers, and there is the effect of e service quality, price perception, and sales promotion on customer loyalty through Gojek Yogyakarta customer satisfaction, as evidenced by the e-service quality variable mediation coefficient of 0,0442; the mediation coefficient of price perception variable is 0,0404; and the mediation coefficient of sales promotion variable is 0.0676.
