Abstract

The use of information technology management has a positive effect on reducing management costs, improving management quality, facilitating communication between managers, and saving time and quality of communication within the company. Strategy for utilizing information technology management by speeding up services to market needs for services from the latest information technology. Planning the utilization of information technology management can reduce the risk of disruption to data and information security. Recovery planning from data and information security disruptions must contain information that enables information technology management to ensure the organization's ability to continue critical computing and telecommunications services and operations. The policy for utilizing information technology management includes, among other things, providing information technology services so as to provide satisfaction to customers. A successful information technology management structure must have a solid set of processes for interacting and communicating with customers. By establishing good relationships with customers, information technology organizations can improve all forms of customer interactions including translating customer requests into solutions, providing service and support, and accessing customer satisfaction. The results and discussion in this research are that the use of information technology management through management information systems will provide benefits in increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of business activities, especially in the management process and business decision making.

Abstract

The suitability of study programs to aspects of academic talent and general knowledge will greatly support the comfort of prospective students later when they are already students, the selection of study programs often does not consider the real side of the suitability of academic values, most prospective students will choose what they are interested in at that time, which impacts these students will tend not to be able to develop what is really there in them, interest alone is not enough of course there needs to be adjustments to what strengths a prospective student has. The decision-making system using the weighted product method will greatly help prospective students determine the majors they will take after becoming students. This decision-making system will illustrate how the scores from the test obtained by prospective students can help provide an overview of how suitable the student is with the study program he is interested in, this simple system uses the Weighted Product (WP) method, one of the SPK methods included in Fuzzy Multiple Attribute Decision Making (FMADM).

Abstract

Learning Accounting is an essential part of business and finance education. To ensure effective learning, an innovative approach is needed to optimize the understanding of concepts and practical applications in the field of accounting. One technology that has attracted attention in this context is Artificial Intelligence, particularly through the utilization of ChatGPT. However, there are still challenges in teaching accounting. Conventional learning systems are often less interactive and cannot provide adequate individual support to students. Therefore, a new approach is needed to enhance student interaction with instructors. The aim of this research is to analyze and implement the utilization of ChatGPT in the development of accounting educati to improve the understanding of accounting concepts and enhance students' ability to apply accounting knowledge. The research method employs an experimental approach involving a group of students in a learning program utilizing ChatGPT as a virtual assistant. ChatGPT provides explanations, answers questions, and provides feedback to students. To analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of using AI (ChatGPT) in accounting education, the System Usability Scale is used.The results of this research indicate that the use of AI, particularly through ChatGPT, in accounting education can provide significant benefits. Students experience improvements in their understanding of accounting concepts, practical abilities, better individual support, and increased motivation and interest in learning accounting, with an accuracy rate of 80.625%.

Abstract

Study of atmospheric are currently growing rapidly to analyze the negative effects of climate change, weather and air quality. Unstable atmospheric conditions have a negative impact, as extreme weather. The combination of technology and analysis of atmospheric conditions is currently developing rapidly. While atmospheric research using machine learning technology and algorithms is advancing swiftly, challenges persist in identifying the optimal machine learning model for precise cloud type classification. The application of Machine Learning algorithms in atmospheric research has been widely carried out to predict wind direction and cloud imagery to detect weather using satellite data. Detecting cloud type is important for predicting the upcoming weather. However, to detect the type of cloud, it is necessary to choose the algorithm with the best performance. This study applies the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) with EfficienNetB3 method, Support Vector Classifier (SVC), XGBoost Classifier (XGB), Extra Tree Classifier (ETC), Random Forest (RF), and Decision Tree (DT) algorithms in classifying cloud images to detect clouds type. The method used in this research involves an experimental approach in the hope of gaining a deeper understanding of the factors that influence the performance of machine learning models in classifying cloud types. The dataset used in this research is 1500 cloud data (1200 training data, 300 testing data). Researchers conducted a comparison of algorithms to find out the best algorithm performance in classifying cloud type images. The results showed that doing the CNN algorithm showed better performance with an average accuracy got of 81.03% compared to the SVC algorithm (34.44%), XGB (33.79%), ETC (39.25%), RF (36.18), and DT (29.35%). Our contribution to this research is that we compare machine learning algorithms to detect cloud types along with the impact and characteristics of cloud types from the prediction results.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology is currently growing very rapidly. With technological developments, major changes have also occurred in the field of education. Bina Insani University accepts many students every year. Of course, the large amount of public interest in the programs offered by Bina Insani University has had an impact on increasing the registration of prospective new students at Bina Insani University. Information regarding new student admissions is currently still through brochures, banners, marketing visits to SMA/K schools, and also through social media. This was done as an effort to increase the number of new student registrants, however information regarding registration procedures is still presented in text form. Of course, this still makes it difficult for registrants to understand the correct order or registration. To overcome this problem, interactive information is needed that explains the procedures or procedures for registering new students at Bina Insani University. Based on the background of this problem, interactive information media is needed in the form of videos that explain the procedures for registering new students at Bina Insani University. By using the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method. This video can be accessed via the link listed on the official Bina Insani University website. It is hoped that with this research, prospective new students at Bina Insani University will no longer have difficulty getting information about the procedures for registering new students at Bina Insani University.

Abstract

Tilawah is the recitation of verses from the Qur'an, performed continuously with certain reading standards and rules. Communities to maintain this activity can be the right choice. One of the online recitation communities ODOJ (One Day One Juz), is the largest recitation community in Indonesia, which is also crowded with Islamic worshipers from all over the archipelago. This community utilises the WhatsApp (WA) application media, as its communication medium. And ODOJ also uses the WA Group (WAG) feature, which aims to control and record the daily recitation report activities of its members. The bigger a community is, the more data in it, which should need a certain way so that data management can be effective and efficient. The design of android mobile applications is a solution to the problem that aims to provide convenience in doing the data collection. Data collection that aims as an evaluation material for its members from the admin of the WA group. Not as a substitute for WAG, because communication between members must be maintained, but as a convenience for data management, especially the admin. The system development method in this study uses a prototype model.

Abstract

News summarization is very important in the news analysis process. However, in the summarization process, there are often obstacles such as the large number of news stories and the need for news classification. This research aims to build a simple web-based system that can be used to summarize and classify news which will be very useful in the news analysis process. The proposed summarization method is Textrank, and the news classification method that will be used is KNN. This system is expected to provide an automatic summarization function to make it easier to analyze news content. The data that will be used as the basis for classification modeling is sports news in 3 months, and the classification that will be used to determine whether the news includes sports news in three branches, namely football, rackets or basketball. Testing of the summarization model using textrank was carried out by applying ROUGE-1 and ROUGE-2, with results of 0.79 and 0.67. Meanwhile, testing the classification model using KNN with k=3 and k=5 is 0.9866 and 0.9666 so k=3 will be used. This system will be built using the web scrapping library, textrank, stopword from PySastrawi, scikit-learn for the classification module using the KNN algorithm, and ngrok for publishing web-based applications. By using ngrok, we can expose the application through internet with a temporary public url without hosting required

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan hal yang vital bagi perkembangan sebuah bangsa dan negara. Sayangnya teknik dan proses belajar mengajar terutama strategi pemberian tugas ajar yang ada cenderung tertinggal dengan kemajuan teknologi yang semakin pesat, hal ini menyebabkan minimnya pencegahan kecurangan yang saat ini semakin dimudahkan dengan keberadaan kecerdasan buatan terutama kecerdasan generatif dengan kemampuan yang luar biasa untuk menciptakan jawaban tugas secara instan. Jika terus dibiarkan maka hal ini dapat menurunkan kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia. Walaupun kajian mengenai pemanfaatan kecerdasan generatif telah banyak dilakukan namun masih belum ada metodologi praktis yang membimbing pengajar untuk dapat merencanakan tugas siswa berbasis kecerdasan generatif tersebut. Penelitian ini mengusulkan metodologi untuk pengembangan rencana tugas kelas yang berbasis kecerdasan generatif yang kemudian kami namakan sebagai Generative AI-based Classroom Task Planning(GACTP). Abstract

In the current global context, the exchange of information through Internet networks has become increasingly vital, necessitating the effectiveness of communication technology. This is particularly true in areas with weak or unstable signal coverage such as intermittent areas. To address challenges such as frequent connection drops in these areas, Delay Tolerant Networking (DTN) architecture is offered as an alternative solution to overcome these problems. The conducted research aims to design and test a data communication application prototype using DTN architecture implemented on the Android operating system. The approach taken involves using the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) method. In detail, the application is implemented on the Android operating system and integrates various routing protocols such as Epidemic, Spray and Wait, MaxProp, and ProphetV2 to optimize data transmission and reception under varying network conditions. Data collection techniques include measuring latency and data transfer speed in predetermined testing scenarios, while data analysis techniques involve evaluating the measurement results to determine the effectiveness of the routing protocols used. Evaluation is conducted and the results showing an average latency between 800-1400ms and speeds of 100-400kbps, depending on the distance and varying network conditions. This study validates the effectiveness of DTN in maintaining consistent communication in challenging network environments. The impact of this research on the advancement of informatics is to pave the way for further development and adaptation of DTN technology in various mobile applications and data networks.

Abstract

This study evaluates the influence of Electronic Word of Mouth (eWOM) and brand image on the purchasing decisions of students of the Faculty of Economics, Pasim Bandung National University on the Tokopedia application. eWOM includes reviews, testimonials, and recommendations through digital platforms, while brand image refers to students' perceptions of Tokopedia as a brand. This study uses a survey method with a questionnaire to collect data from students who have used the Tokopedia application. The analysis was conducted with multiple linear regression to determine the relationship between eWOM, brand image, and purchasing decisions. The results showed that eWOM had an influence of 4.7% on purchasing decisions, while brand image had an influence of 59.8%. Hypothesis testing shows that eWOM and brand image significantly influence purchasing decisions, with an R2 value of 0.646. Thus, about 64.6% of the variation in purchasing decisions on the Tokopedia application can be explained by the combined influence of eWOM and brand image. The remaining 35.4% is caused by other factors not examined in this study.
