Abstract

This study aims to examined the effect of brand (1) advertising television and packaging design (2) the advertising on television  and (3) the design packaging to make the decision to purchase biore’s facial wash toward college students in Universitas Negeri Padang. This type of the research is descriptive causative,the purpose of  this research is to  describe and also analyze the relationships between one variable and others on to show how can these variables affect other variables. The population of this research are colleges students in Universitas Negeri Padang who has been whatched the advertisement in television and also used the Biore;s facial wash. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with 100 respondents. The techniques use to analyze this research was multiple regression analysis using the SPSS version 20 program. The results of this research shows that : (1) advertising television and design packaging have a significant effet on purchasing decision, (2) the advertisement in television give significant effect on purchases, (3) packaging design has a significant effect on purchasing decisions.Keywords: Television Advertising, Packaging Design, Purchasing Decision

Abstract

The purposes of this research are to analyze: The effect of student perception of entrepreneurship on entrepreneurial intention of SMK Students in Padang and The effect of family environment on entrepreneurial intention of SMK Students in Padang. The type of this research is causative research. The population for this research is all students of SMK in Padang. The total sample of this research was 200 people by using a questionnaire. The result of this research shows that student perception of entrepreneurship has significant effect on entrepreneurial intention of SMK students in Padang and family environment has no significant effect on entrepreneurial intention of SMK students in Padang. The conclusion from this research is student perception of entrepreneurship show a significant effect on an entrepreneurial intention of SMK Students in Padang and Family environment there is no significant effect on an entrepreneurial intention of SMK Students in Padang. For the future research, it is better to increase the support of parents to their children to entrepreneurship and improve entrepreneurship activities that can influence entrepreneurial intention.Keyword: Student Perception of Entrepreneurship, Family Environment, Entrepreneurial Intention

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine (1) the influence of the level of education and the physical environment of office work on employee performance, (2) the influence of the level of education on employee performance, (3) the influence of the physical environment of office work on employee performance. This research is descriptive associative. The population in this study were employees in Dinas Prasarana Jalan Tata Ruang Dan Permukiman Provinsi Sumatera Barat with 387 employees. The total sample was determined using the Slovin formula and proportional random sampling. From this pattern, 197 employees were obtained as research samples. Data collection techniques used in this study were questionnaires and documentation. The validity test instrument uses Collected Item-Total Colleration and for reliability testing using alpha coefficient formula. The prerequisite test is done by normality test, heteroscedasticity test, and multicollinearity test. The technique used to analyze data is multiple regression analysis. Based on this study, it was found that (1) The level of education and the physical environment of office work have a positive and significant effect on employee performance in Dinas Prasarana Jalan Tata Ruang Dan Permukiman Provinsi Sumatera Barat (2) The level of education has a positive and significant effect on employee performance in Dinas Prasarana Jalan Tata Ruang Dan Permukiman Provinsi Sumatera Barat (3) The physical environment of office work has a positive and significant effect on employee performance in Dinas Prasarana Jalan Tata Ruang Dan Permukiman Provinsi Sumatera Barat Keyword: education level, office physical work environment, employee performance

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of corporate governance on the capital structure of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Companies need an optimal capital structure so that there are no problems that will later impact the risk of high corporate bankruptcy. Capital structure will be optimal if there is no agency problem. Agency problems occur because of differences in interests between managers, investors, and creditors. To reduce agency conflict, corporate governance is needed. Institutional ownership and the size of the audit committee are used in this study as part of corporate governance. Debt to equity ratio was used to measure capital structure in this study. The sample used in this study amounted to 76 manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sample selection in this study used a purposive sampling method. The type of data used is secondary data obtained from www.idx.co.id. The analytical method used is multiple regression analysis. The results of the study show that institutional ownership has a significant effect on capital structure, while the audit committee has no significant effect on capital structure. Keywords: capital structure, corporate governance, institusional ownership, audit committee

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to indentified factor-factor that influence the family welfare in West Sumatera. Based on the generic fenomena that happened, the formulation in this research is how the first marriage age, work, education, and health give effected to family welfare in West Sumatera. This research use Sussenas 2016 data, and the research population is household in West Sumatera. Sample that used in this research is ammount to 9455 head of household. The sample has been taking from 19 districts/city that spread in West Sumatera,even if in city or country. This research use the Logistic Model and the hypothesis test that used in this research is Wald test with alpha 5%. Abstract

This research aims to: difference learning outcomes using cooperative learning model type Teams Assisted Individualization And Model Type Course Review Horray With Conventional At Class XI  SMA N 3 Solok. The research used a quasi-experimental design, the technique is purposive sampling, the instrument trials, gain score, validity, reliability, different test problem, and difficulty levels. Data collection by documentation and test result of learning outcome. The population in this study is XI SMA N 3 Solok and the sample is XI IPA 4 and XI IPA 5 for class experiment and XI IPA 3 for class control. The analytical method used a paired sample t-test and independent sample-test analysis. The result is: there are differences a  student learning outcomes using cooperative learning model  Team Assisted Individualization and Course Review Horray with conventional economic subjects in class XI  SMA N 3 Solok based on calculation with Sig. value of 0,000. Keywords: model team assisted individualization, course review horay learning outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the Effect of Teacher Behavior on Learning Motivation, Effects of Learning Motivation on the Values of Economic Subjects of Social Sciences Class XI in Padang Pure High School and the Effect of Economic Subject Values in Class XI IPS in Padang Pure High School on Teacher Behavior. The population in this study were the eleventh grade students of SMA Murni Padang Academic Year 2018/2019 totaling 19 students. Data collection with questionnaires or questionnaires. The trial of the research instrument with validity test and reliability test was carried out on 19 students in Pure Padang High School. The data analysis technique used was using the SPSS program ver. 22.0. The results of this study are: First, there is a positive and significant influence of Teacher Behavior on Learning Motivation of Social Sciences Class XI Students in Padang Pure High School Academic Year 2018/2019, meaning that the better the Teacher's Behavior in learning process will increase students' motivation. Secondly there is a positive and significant influence of Teacher Behavior on Economic Subject Values of Social Sciences Class XI Students at Murni Padang High School Academic Year 2018/2019, it can be interpreted that the better the Teacher's Behavior in the learning process will increase Economic Subject Value of Class XI IPS in Pure High School Padang. Third, there is a positive and significant influence of Student Learning Motivation on the Eye Value of Economic Pelajran Students in Social Sciences Class XI in Padang Pure High School Academic Year 2018/2019 which shows that the higher students' learning motivation will also increase the results of economic class XI IPS in Pure High School Padang Academic Year 2018/2019.Keywords: Teacher Behavior, Learning Motivation and Economic Subject Value

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship of service quality to the satisfaction of recipients of population administration services at the Population and Civil Registry Office of Tanah Datar District. Measurement of service quality dimensions using five dimensions of service quality consisting of dimensions of physical evidence (tangibles), reliability (reliability), responsiveness (responsiveness), assurance (assurance), empathy (empathy). This type of research is a quantitative study with a correlational method using SPSS version 22. The population of this study is the population receiving population administration services in Dukcapil Tanah Datar District, a population of 82,286 people with a sample of 100 people taken using the Slovin formula using accidental sampling techniques. The research data is primary data, the data collection technique in this study is to use a questionnaire prepared using a Likert scale whose scores are 1-5. To ensure that the instruments used in the study are validity and reliability tests. Data were analyzed by descriptive and inductive analysis using normality test, linearity test, hypothesis testing using multiple correlation test, person correlation test, and the coefficient of determination test with α = 0.05. The results of this study show that the five service quality variables have a positive and significant relationship to the satisfaction of recipients of population administration services, namely the dimensions of physical evidence (tangibles), reliability (reliability), responsiveness (responsiveness), assurance (assurance), and empathy (empathy). Keyword:  kualitas pelayanan, bukti fisik (tangibility), keandalan (reliability), daya tanggap (responsiveness), jaminan (assurance), empati (emphaty), dan kepuasan masyarakat penerima layanan.

Abstract

This Research aims to identify and analyze the influence of adversity quotient and parents' socio-economic conditions on procrastination in doing thesis on students of 2015 economic education majoring in Padang State University. The population in this research were students of 2015 economic education majoring in Padang State University who were taking a thesis course. The analytical method used is multiple regression analysis and data analysis process using the SPSS version 21 program. The results show that 1) there is a significant influence between adversity quotient and parents' socio-economic conditions on procrastination in working on a thesis. 2) there is a significant negative effect between adversity quotient on procrastination in working on a thesis. 3) there is a significant negative effect between parents' socio-economic conditions on procrastination in working on a thesis.Keyword: adversity quotient, socio-economic, procrastination

Abstract

This researcher aims to determine the factors that influence the Continuing Study Interest to University Students Vocational High School Number 2 Pariaman. The population in researcher is student on class XII Acounting Vocational High School Number 2 Pariaman Academic Year 2019/2020 amounted 107 students. This researcher used proportional random sampling with 85 students as sample. Data collection technique used questionnaire and processing with SPSS program version 21. The result of researcher are Income of Parent don’t Influential to Interest Continuing Study to University and  Achievement of Study Influential to Interest Continuing Study to Universitas in Student Class XII Acounting Vocational High School Number 2 Pariaman. The coefficient determination is 0,075 or 7,5%. The rest is 92,5% influential by other variabel. Keywords:  income of  parents, achievement of study, interests continuing study to university.
