Abstract

The  purpose  of  this  study  is  to  determine  the  effect  oflearning motivation, peers  on  academic procrastination and student learning achievement of student of the Departemen of Economic Education, State University of  Padang. This  research  is  causative. The  population of  this  study  are  students majoring in Economics Education, State University of Padang 2014, 2015 and 2016years a namber 337 students and obtained as many samples 77 students by using a formula proportional random sampling. The analytical method used is path analysis using SPSS version 21. The results of this study indicate that (1) peers contribute to the learning motivation, (2) learning motivation, peers contribute simultaneously and significantly to the academic procrastination and (3) learning motivation , academic peers and procrastination contribute simultaneously and significantly to the learning achievement. The implementation from this Economic Education students will improve their motivation to learn and interact with peers and not take action to postpone doing assignments so that students of Economic Education can improve learning achievement optimally. Keywords: learning motivation, peers, academic procrastination, and learning achievemen

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) analyze the effect of learning motivation on student achievement. 2) analyze the effect of e-learning utilization on student achievement. 3) To analyze the effect of learning motivation and e-learning utilization student achievement. Thie type of research is quantitative descriptive research. The population in this study are students of the Department of Economic Education, FE UNP in 2017-2018. The sample are 100 peoplestudent. The type of data in this study are secondary data and primary data. The data collection technique used is a questionnaire. The data that has been collected is analyzed by descriptive analysis. This research uses multiple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that 1) learning motivation does not significantly influence student achievement. 2)utilization of e-learning has no significant effect on student achievement and 3) learning motivation and utilization of e-learning have no significant effect on learning achievement student achievement departement of economic education UNP.Keywords : motivation to learn, the use of elearning, the use of elearning

Abstract

 Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of student job training to student work interest in class XII business major in SMK State Businesss and Management in Padang City. The type of this research is descriptive quantitative. This study was taken at SMK State (Business and Management) are SMK Negeri 2 Padang, SMK Negeri 3 Padang and SMK Negeri 4 Padang. The population of this study is 170 students of class XII. Technique of collecting the sample is Proportional Sampling so that it obtained the sample 120 students with Slovin formula. The instrument used is Angket. Analysis simple regression with used SPSS version is used to analysing the data. The result shown that the student job traning is significant influence the interested of student in working of SMK State Business and Management in Padang City. R square of student job training to work interest is 13,1%. The researcher would like to give suggested industry of student job training is relevant with major of the students and the teacher must monitoring when student practice.   Keyword:student job training, work interest

Abstract

This research aims to identify : (1) The influence of learning habit and peer group to learning achievement university student, (2) the influence of peer group to learning achievement university student. (3) the influence of learning habit and peer group to learning achievement university student This research was a descriptive causative with quantitative approach. The subject of this research was all university student at Economic Faculty entered year 2014, 2015 and 2016 and the sampling technique used proportional random sampling. Total sample of this research was 339 university student. The research’s sample test of validity and test of reability. Test of Analysis consisted of normality  test, multi-collinearity test and heteroskedastisity test. Hypothesis test was consisting multiple regression with SPSS version 21 for windows. Research result : (1) have a positive and significant influence between learning ability to learning achievement The University Student at Economic Faculty of Padang State University, (2) have a positive and influence between peer group to learning achievement the University Student at economic Faculty of Padang State University, (3) have postitve and signifiant influence between learning habit and peer group to learning achievement the University Student at Economic Faculty of Padang State University.  Key words : learning habit, peer group, learning achievement (IPK)

Abstract

This research was determine the effects of store layout, interior display, and human variable related to shopping orientation at Matahari Basko Grand Mall Padang. This research have done by customer Matahari Basko Grand Mall Padang. The population of this research were all  of the customer Matahari Basko Grand Mall Padang in Padang City, and the sample was 100 respondent. The technic sampling in this research was propability sampling with the accidental sampling. The technic of analysis data used Multiple Regression by SPSS Version. 16.0 program. This results showed that store layout have positive and significant effect related to shopping orientation, with the calculation gained (tcount = 2,568 dan Sig. 0,012 < 0,05), interior display have positive and significant effect related to shopping orientation, with the calculation gained (tcount = = 2,568 and Sig. 0,012 < 0,05), and human variables have positive and not significant effect related to shopping orientation at Matahari Basko Grand Mall Padang.Keywords : Shopping Orientation, , Store Layout,   Interior Display, dan Human.

Abstract

His study was conducted to determine (1) the effect of placement and job training on employee performance, (2) the effect of placement on employee performance, (3) the effect of job training on employee performance. This research is descriptive associative. The population in this study were employees of the Education Office of West Sumatra Province with 182 employees. The total sample is determined using the Slovin formula and cluster sampling. From this pattern, 125 employees were obtained as research samples. The data collection technique used in this study was a questionnaire. The validity test instrument uses Collected Item-Total Colleration and for reliability testing using alpha coefficient formula. Prerequisite tests were carried out by normality test, heterocedasticity test, and multicollinearity test. The technique used to analyze data is multiple regression analysis. Based on this study, it was found that (1) Job Placement and Training had a positive and significant effect on the performance of West Sumatra Provincial Education Office employees (2) Placement had a positive influence and significantly affected the performance of West Sumatra Provincial Education Office employees (3) Job Training had a positive effect and significant to the performance of employees of the Education Office of West Sumatra Province. Keyword: placement, job training, employee performance

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the demand and supply of labor in West Sumatra. This study used secondary data using a total of 19 objects by district / city in West Sumatra (2013-2017). Data analysis technique used was panel data analysis using eviews 9. The data analysis technique used is panel data analysis using eviews 9. Abstract

This research aims to determine the management procedures, incoming and outgoing mail in the Department ofPopulation and Civil Registration Tanah Datar. This research was a descriptive research with qualitative methods.The types of data used in this study were a primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques used:observation, interviews, and documentation. Technique authenticity of data used triangulation techniques.Determination of informants of this research used purposive sampling technique. The results of this research weremanagement procedures, incoming and outgoing mail was not optimal for the management of the mail was not inaccordance with the guidelines used by the Department of Population and Civil Registration Tanah Datar. Obstaclesencountered in the management letter that was often receive supplementary letter, the rediscovery of the archiverequires a long time, and archival storage room was not yet available. From these results Office of Population andCivil Registration Tanah Datar, it is advisable to carry out management activities in accordance with the letter of theguidelines have been used, as well as an effective complementary equipment in the rediscovery of the archives, andheld a special space for archive storage.Keywords: Procedures, Inbox, and Outgoing Mail

Abstract

The research aims to identify and analysis the effect of Entrepreneuship  character, Entrepreneurhip interest and family environment on student Entrepreneurhip  activity in Universitas Negeri Padang. The population in the research were qualifying for pass funded PKM-K and PMW 2018 in Universitas Negeri Padang. The analytical method used is path analysis using the SPSS version 21 program. The result show that 1) entrepreneurship character have a significant effect on entrepreneurial interest of student in Universitas Negeri Padang (62,4%.) 2) The family environment have a significant effect on entrepreneurial interest of students in Universitas Negeri Padang (39,1%). 3) entrepreneurship character have a significant effect on entrepreneurial activity of student in Universitas Negeri Padang (61,9%). 4) The family environment have a significant effect on entrepreneurial activity of students in Universitas Negeri Padang (41,1%). 5) Interest in entrepreneurship has a significant negative effect on student entrepreneurial activity at Universitas Negeri Padang (-39,5%).Keywords: entrepreneurship character, entrepreneurship interest, family environment, entrepreneurship activity

Abstract

The aims of this study to identify and analyze the impact of education, the number of household members, employment status, and age of household on poverty in West Sumatera. This type of research is associative descriptive research, where the data used was secondary data and cross section, obtained from related institutions, which are analyzed using the Logistic Regression method. The fndings of this study indicate that education, the number of household members, employment status, and age of household have a significant effect on poverty in West Sumatera.       Keywords: education, employment status, age of household, poverty, and Logistic Regression
