Abstract

Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) have various problems, product quality, marketing and business sustain ability. Based on the background of the IbM program has issues about improving the manufacturing process and production rambak cakar that is not too long in the event of rainy weather making it more productive and effective, improving the quality of SME management and marketing strategies of production and seek opportunities to other product variations. The result is the production of tools for increasing productivity rambak dryer with drying peresentase level 60% compared with manual drying, manufacturing of SME management strategy with the creation of training modules SME management, financial planning, the simple balance of SME and marketing through the internet, so it will be more easily recognized and extensive marketing network. For product variations opportunities through market research with the results of (1) the level of public confidence in the SME products is quite high, (2) the need for improvement in brand and packaging SME with proven products that (a) the quality of SME products is not good, (b) no health insurance and ha/al happens almost all food products from SME, besides it does not yet include any food Ingredients Daily Intake and (c) the design of SME products. SME products have the potential to compete with products from non-SME, (3) need to improve the quality of products from a variety of marketing management, human resources and government support.

Abstract

Through this service activity is expected both in terms of MSME5 partners then there will be an increase in the production of better product quality and management side of business management are expected to meet market demand by increasing marketing reach To overcome the problems faced by the MSMEs team devotion offers several methods of problem solving , among others : a ) introduction of appropriate technology in the form of spinner tool, b) introduction of appropriate technology tools such as vacuum sealer, c ) recognition and processing training to improve the quality of food product and d) a field trip as on effort to diversify the product.This activity is expected to only a stimulus for MSMEs partners that required active participation in sustainability activities, partner SMEs proactive response during activity is an early indicator that this devotion is a participatory empowerment is not actually even foster charity/dependence for the MSMEs.

Abstract

Science and technology activities for the community was held in bamboo handicraft business partners belonging to Wahyu Purnomo and Supri. Both Small and Medium Enterprises (SME5) partners produce home furniture and souvenirs using bamboo as the main material. The activities was located in Jambu Kulon village in district of Ceper, which is 13km from the city of Klaten or 33 km from the city of Surakarta. Issues to be solved in this activity are: bamboo craft designs that are not varied and bamboo SMEs have not implemented financial statements in conformity minimum accounting standards.Problems solving through the development of design (shape and color combination) and applying accounting training in accordance with the minimum accounting standards that are tailored to the needs and capabilities of SMEs bamboo. Using training and supervision individually or in groups, the results shows that: 1 ) Design a corner chair and chaise lounge on the Bamboo SMEs belongs to Supri has done. 2) Batik mega mendung design in a duck's handicraft and innovation of the form of a duck as a pencil case has implemented. 3) The financial statements conform to accounting standards minimum for bamboo SME has trained, which includes daily cash flow, purchases journal, sales journal, and income statement.

Abstract

IBM's activities implemented in Nusupan Wetan, Celep, Kedawung, Sragen with partners "Rejeki Agung" Ducks Farmer Group Suhardi and Women's Group Livestock (KWT) lstinah. The purpose of activities is to improve the income and welfare of farmers through the production of duck meatballs and duck nuggets in vacuum packs and upgrade magerial, financial management (accounting) and marketing. The method used is counseling, mentoring, training, making meatballs and duck nuggets vacuum packaging storage and business management training. Event was attended by 30 participants from Rejeki Agung duck farmer group and KWT In this activity, given 2 meat grinder tool, 1 cooler box, 1 vacuum machine, 1 Rinnai gas stove, gas cylinders and equipment cookware for making meatballs and nuggets. Results showed dedication that these activities can increase the productivity and income of farmers from selling meatballs partners and nuggets compared to only sell in the form of ducks culled. Additionally meatballs skills and nuggets are also improved with refined taste and variation, as well as increased sales and bookings. And the ability to implement marketing strategies in accordance with the state and have made a simple bookkeeping.

Abstract

In general, the aims of the service to the community program is to provide the training of the wastewater treatment in making nata de coco to the  coconut traders in  Dahlia traditional markets that can provide them an additional income. The specific aims are : (1) To give the grated coconut trader and their partner knowledge about the processing of nata de coco, (2) To give the coconut traders and their partners knowledge  of processing nata de coco into  various flavors, (3) To share the  coconut traders and their partners the knowledge about how  to package  so that it will become more attractive,  Finally (4) To improve their management and to expand their marketing network.Methods are used: (1) Dissemination  knowledge of nata de coco, (2) Counseling and training wastewater treatment of the coconut into nata de coco for the coconut trader and their partners in the Dahlia,  traditional market town in Pontianak, (3) Improving the quality of human resources, And (4) Training Product Promotion of SMEs through the Internet.The results show that the interest of participants to the activities of is very large. This is demonstrated by the sight of people exiting to follow and pay attention in any of the material presented, as well as their desire to know more about the process of nata de coco. Based on the  aggregate information that is collected by the team that one of the key success of the implementation of this activity is their desire to earn more income,  furthemore due to the abundant of the raw material for making nata de coco in their environment.
