Abstract

Islamic banking was born in Indonesia as a solution for the Indonesian Muslims to avoid the practice of interest in banking world. Seeing the number of Muslim which dominates by 82% in Indonesia while funding nominal of Islamic bank is still low when compared to conventional bank, through this research, the author raises the theme consumer psychology to analyze its influence on the intention of Indonesian Muslims to use Islamic bank funding product. Respondents in this research are Indonesian Muslims who are not customer of Islamic bank with a total of 450 respondents. Then the data collected was analyzed using Multiple Linear Regression model. The result shows that motivation, perception, learning, beliefe and attitude partially have an influence on the intention to use Islamic bank funding product, and then motivation, perception, learning, beliefe and attitude simultaneously have a significant influence on the intention to use Islamic bank funding product. The ability of independent variables in explaining dependent variable is equal to 69.7%. The conclusion of this research is in understanding banking consumer behavior, it can not only be seen from an economic perspective, but another perspective that needs to be directly targeted at feelings that will shape the patterns of consumer behavior, namely consumer psychology. Islamic banking must pay attention to consumer policies both in conducting products and in marketing their products. In addition, regulators also need to prioritize consumer psychology in policy making.

Abstract

The aim of this article is to recognize the factors of voters that have impact to Anies-Sandi victory of 2nd round DKI Jakarta governor election in 2017. The factors that being tested are Islam voters, Millennials voters with the range of age around 21 to 40 and educated voters which voters with minimum education are senior high school in 2017. This research is quantitative research with secondary data using multiple linear regression analysis to get the empirical result. The result of this research shows that Islam, Millennials and Educated voters are simultaneously significantly impact to Anies-Sandi victory. While Islam and Millennials voters are partially significantly impact to Anies-Sandi victory but the educated voters is not significantly impact because they are considered able to think critically. Political of identity as a political marketing strategy can be used to any kind of election with the Islam, millennials, voters’ consideration but has a relatively low level of education.

Abstract

The growing centers of global power such as NATO, the European Union, China and India have different civilizational and cultural characteristics. Post-Soviet Russia is indeed in a relatively weak position in economic terms. Although Russia's relations with the European Union and the United States had improved after the Cold War, it did not have a significant impact on Russia's economic growth. In recent years Russia and other major powers have not only strengthened the economy and security related to the military, but have gone far beyond that to strengthen the country's influence. This is what makes the superpower countries compete in making policies that ultimately affect the world political and economic situation. This study examines Russian political policy towards NATO, Europe and Ukraine from the perspective of security and economic interests. The method used is qualitative by conducting an in-depth study of data obtained from the results of previous studies. The results of this study show that Russia, America and Europe through NATO occupy a strong position that has the ability to influence agreements and include the national interests of their country. Each country is trying to achieve their respective interests by making efforts to increase national power. National Power includes various elements, namely military power, economic and political power.

Abstract

This study outlines the launching background of the Census Hub by the European Commission in 2011 as an initiative to centralize population and housing census data in the European Union. The aim of this paper is to analyze why the European Union wants to centralize its population and housing census data in an online system and also its benefits of looking at common issues that occur in the European Union. In order to elaborate on the reasons behind the launch of Census Hub, this article uses constructivism for European integration. The data sources used in this article are from the official publications published by the European Union, in particular the European Commission on Census Hubs. Other data will be obtained from online texts on integration, population, and housing in Europe. The results showed that the launching of the Census Hub is one of the the European Union endeavor to integrate Europe, not only by expanding its territory to the East. European integration can be done in all aspects of life, one of which is integrating population and housing census data. The ambition of European integration is an old desire for fulfilling European values and norms for welfare of citizens who live in its territory.

Abstract

UNWTO (2020) states that international tourist arrivals is higher 3.8% in 2019 than previous years. UNWTO estimates that tourist destinations around the world will reach 1.5 billion arrivals in 2019 with an increase of around 54 million. This condition has a positive impact especially for the tourism development, but on the other hand social changes as a result of globalization is very vulnerable to occur which give another impact especially the problem of cultural resilience in society. Therefore how to enhance cultural resilience by minimizing the negative influence in tourism development in the globalization era in the Pangeran Jayakarta sanctuary, East Jakarta is important to do. Current tourists’ trend pay more attention to the quality of experience and the tendency to look for something unique and authentic where they cannot found in other places. To fulfill this trend, it can be done by presenting religious tourism as a tourism attraction. Optimizing religious tourism as a tourism attraction in order to enhance the cultural resilience is the aim of this research. The research was conducted by library research and interviews and using descriptive-qualitative analysis. The result shows that the Pangeran Jayakarta sanctuary has the potential of cultural resources that can still be presented in an authentic and contextualized manner. Bringing up the value and meaning of culture and history by making it as a tourism attraction in Pangeran Jayakarta sanctuary is an opportunity for a positive image and local identity with multicultural values, solidarity, unity in diversity, mutual cooperation and pride of local culture.

Abstract

The legal scope of the Terrorism Law and the Information and Electronic Transactions Law in Indonesia is considered as lacking to cover the problem of cybercrime in social media. Aside from literature review, this paper is also supported by data from direct interview with the Head of Counterterrorism Special Detachment 88 (Densus 88 AT) of Indonesian National Police. The data found out that the Terrorism Law is a repressive response towards terrorism crimes that have already occured, but less preventive to future crimes. The existence of laws in Indonesia is often one step behind its crime. The difference of perception in seeing a crime also becomes a shortcoming for the legal apparatus, but becomes an opportunity for perpetrators of the crime. Prevention needs to be done as a form of monitoring and controlling the contents that could lead to the criminal acts of terrorism.

Abstract

In the contract of financing much-needed information asymmetry between the owners of capital (shahibul mall) and the manager of the capital (mudharib) in order to achieve common interests. One of the indicators that lead to moral hazard is due to asymmetric information or dissimilarity of information provided, and influential in the contract of financing. In a Mudharabah financing contract, between shahibul mall and mudharib provide information asymmetry in favor of the creation of a common interest. This study is a literature with an approach that combines the philosophical and phenomenological approach to look deeply about the material object of philosophy as well as the value, the principle of principles, objectives and economic policy, as well as concepts especially the system of financing which is born of the concept of Islamic business. While the phenomenological approach is used in view of economic development, well illustrated in society through statistical data, as well as those contained in a work of literature. The data source literature in particular are books, journals and articles standard, both with regard to the business concept of Islam which were analyzed using content analysis techniques. As the conclusion, in the mudharabah financing contract, asymmetric information is needed between the owner of the capital (shahibul mal) and the capital manager (mudharib) in order to achieve common interests. And one of the indicators that causes moral hazard is the result of asymmetric information or inequality in the information provided, which affects the mudharabah financing contract.

Abstract

Technology advance such as social media utilization to communicate, to express opinions, to interact with each other, and to discover and share information, but this also has its own susceptive. Its positive effect, social media can be used to accelerate the spreading of information, but the negative effects are the spreading of radical ideas, hate speech, hoaxes, etc. which can threaten the national defense and the sovereignty of the Republic of Indonesia. This research used complex models and a limited amount of samples so that in the data analysis using Smart-PLS software. Smart-PLS using the bootstrapping methods or random multiplication. The results of the research show that knowledge has a positive impact and significant to the attitude of PMII cadre towards hate speech in the 2019 presidential election with the value of P-Values1, 98 in the amount of 14,148. This result shows that the higher knowledge of the cadre about the hate speech in the presidential election 2019, the better attitude of PMII cadres to respond to hoaxes and hate speech in the presidential election 2019 to not make, spread, and affected by the hoaxes and hate speech

Abstract

This study aimed to find the relationship between the intentions of Indonesian consumers in buying Halal food products abroad as a dependent variable with components in the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) namely attitudes, subjective norms, perceived behavioural control modified with religious relations as an independent variable. This research is a combination of research previously conducted by Alam and Sayuti (2011) and Mukhtar and Butt (2012). This study expands the theory by combining the variables used in previous research conducted by Alam and Sayuti (2011), the use of the TPB theory in halal food purchasing in Malaysia and Mukhtar and Butt's (2012) research, the role of religiosity in the intention to choose halal products. Thus, this study contributes to broadens the understanding of the determinants that affect the reasons of Indonesian Muslim consumers purchase halal food in overseas. From a tourism point of view, the finding also provide support for investments decision in halal food supply chain for instance food producers or suppliers in non-Indonesian countries consider the potential of Indonesian Muslim consumers. This study uses qualitative and quantitative methods. Data collection method is done by distributing the questionnaire online with the nonprobability convenience sampling method. Responding to 201 respondents with the criteria Indonesian citizen who have travel abroad at least once. In processing the respondent’s data, this study uses SPPS. The findings of this study indicate subjective norm, perceived behavioural control, and intra-personal religiosity have a positive and significant influence on the intentions of Indonesian consumers in purchasing Halal food products in overseas. Meanwhile, attitude and interpersonal religiosity not significant in explaining the intention of Indonesian consumers in buying Halal food products in overseas.

Abstract

The development of technology makes human life easier and more aided, but behind that convenience there are challenges and threats to the fabric of society. Entering the information age or the era of the industrial revolution 4.0, there are many new problems that cover all aspects of human life, including national and state issues. The information age is pushing for insistence and struggle over the supremacy of information from one party to another. Perpetrators can be in the form of countries, multi-national companies, or non-state actors. For this reason, the idea of strengthening the nation's character as the glue and identity of a nation must be echoed again. Library research was used by the author in this article. This paper aims to uncover and predict threats, challenges, obstacles and disruptions that can emerge in the information age. The findings show the appreciation of the value of Pancasila also needs to be carried out with programs that are fluid and not too formalistic. It can implement with the help of interesting audiovisual media or through ideas that are close to the younger generation.
