Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze: (1) The effect of benefits on consumer perceptions of BRI Mobile on students in the city of Padang, (2) The effect of trust on consumer perceptions of BRI Mobile for students in the city of Padang, (3) The effect of ease of use on consumer perceptions of BRI Mobile for students in the city of Padang, and (4) The effect of security on consumer perceptions of BRI Mobile on students in the city of Padang. This type of research is a quantitative research. The population of this research isan unknown number of students in the city of Padang use BRI Mobile. The method used is purposive sampling method. The number of samples is 100 people. The data used are primary and secondary data obtained through distributing questionnaires to students in the city of Padang. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis through multiple regression analysis. The results showed that: (1) Benefits affect the perceptions of BRI Mobile consumers on students in the city of Padang, (2) Trust affects the perceptions of BRI Mobile consumers on students in the city of Padang, (3) Ease of use affects the perceptions of BRI Mobile consumers on students in the city of Padang, and (4) Security has no effect on consumer perceptions of BRI Mobile among students in the city of Padang. Keywords: Consumer perceptions, benefits, trustworthiness, ease of use, security

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze: (1) The effect of market orientation on the performance of the food industry souvenir business in Padang City (2) The effect of Networking on the performance of the food industry souvenir business in Padang City.  This type of research is causative. The population in this study is the food industry souvenirs in the city of Padang, which is registered in the Department of Labor and Industry of the City of Padang. The total sample in this research is 30 MSMEs. This study shows that (1) Market Orientation has a significant effect on the performance of the souvenir industry business in Padang (2) Networking has a significant effect on the performance of the souvenir industry business in Padang.So, market orientation and networking have a significant effect on business performance. Market orientation and Networking both have the most influence on business performance in this study. For further research, it is expected to find more variables about business performance.  Keywords: Market orientation, networking

Abstract

The public sea freight sector is one of the affected by COVID-19. PT. Samudera Indonesia Tbk is one of the sea transportations companies in Indonesia. The ARIMA model in the previous study provided a statistical test with the aim of evaluating the suitability of the model with a p value of less than 0.05 to determine ARIMA by guessing through ACF (Autocorrelation Function) and PACF (Partial Autocorrelation Function) through stationary data. Outlier detection can be done by plotting the residuals from the specified model. Forecasting data for the next 5 days using the ARIMA (3,1,2) model can be seen that the results of forecasting stock price data for PT. Samudera Indonesia Tbk using ARIMA (3,1,2) is within the 95% confidence interval with a forecast value that is close to the actual value. There are outliers that are detected which are related to economic phenomena.

Abstract

This study analyzes (1) the effect of cognitive benefits on customer engagement (2) the effect of social integrative benefits on customer engagement (3) the effect of personal integrative benefits on customer engagement (4) the effect of hedonic benefits on customer engagement. The population in this study was societies used smartphone xiaomi in Padang city, the sample in this research 100 respondents, the taking technique was accidental sampling. The research was analyzed using the multiple regression analysis approach using SPPS software version 16. The results of the research were: (1) cognitive benefits has a significant effect on customer engagement (2) social integrative benefits has a significant effect on customer engagement (3) personal integrative benefits has an insignificant effect on customer engagement (4) hedonic benefits has a significant effect on customer engagement.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of managerial ownership, board size, investment opportunities and investment opportunities on dividend policy with proxy payout ratio (DPR), dividend per shares (DPS) and dividend yield (DY) on manufacturing companies listed on the IDX. This research is classified as causative research. The population in this study were all Manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014-2018. The sampling technique in this study is using purposive sampling technique with a total sample of 231 companies a year. The data used are secondary data obtained from www.idx.co.id and Indonesia Capital Market Directory. Data analysis method used is multiple regression. The results of multiple regression tests show that past dividends have a positive effect on dividend policy with all dividend policy proxies, subsequently investment opportunities have a positive effect on dividend policy with proxies from the DPR and DPS. While other variables do not affect dividend policy.

Abstract

The focus of this study is to look at performance of SMEs in Padang Pariaman Regency, particularly the role of entrepreneurial orientation and government support as antecedents. The method used in this study was a quantitative. The owners-managers of SMEs in Padang Pariaman Regency made up the study's population. The sample size for this study was 140 respondents, and the sampling technique was non-probability. SEM analysis with Smart-PLS (PLS-SEM) was used as an analysis approach. The findings of this study show that: (1) innovation has no impact on performance; (2) proactive has no effect on performance; (3) risk-taking has a significant impact on performance; (4) aggressiveness has an impact on performance; (5) autonomy has a significant impact on performance; and (6) government support has a significant impact on performance. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of ownership structure on the firm performance of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).  This research is a causative study. The population in this study are all manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2013-2018. This study uses secondary data published in the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX). Based on data collection, a sample of 75 companies from 144 listed manufacturing companies was obtained. The analytical method used is Multiple Regression using SPSS 24 data processing applications. The results of this study conclude (1) Family Ownership does not have a significant positive effect on firm performance (2) Managerial Ownership has a significant negative effect on firm performance (3) Institutional Ownership has a significant positive effect on firm performance (4) Foreign ownership does not have a significant positive effect on firm performance.  Keywords: Ownership structure, firm performance, Indonesia Stock Exchange.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to look into (1) the impact of innovation on SMEs' performance; (2) the consequence of risk-taking on SMEs' performance; (3) the effect of proactiveness on SMEs' performance; (4) the influence of competitive aggressiveness on SMEs' performance; (5) the effect of autonomy on SMEs' performance; and (6) the impact of marketing capabilities on SMEs' performance. This is a survey-based quantitative study. The managers or owners of SMEs in Padang City as a population of this study. The research sample employs a non-probability sampling method, in which the sample is chosen based on a set of criteria. Sample size up to 150 samples were taken. PLS-SEM analysis was used to analyze the empirical data in the study. According to findings, risk-taking, autonomy, and marketing capabilities all had a positive and significant impact on the performance of SMEs. However, innovativeness, proactiveness, and competitive aggressiveness have no influence on performance of SMEs. The implication will be discussed later.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and provide priority proposals for improving the quality of airline services in Indonesia, case studies of X Airline and Y Airline using the AIRQUAL method and the Competitive Zone of Tolerance Based Importance-Performance Analysis (CZIPA). This research is classified as descriptive research. The population in this study are all X Air and Y passengers residing in West Sumatra. The sampling technique in this study is using purposive sampling technique with the criteria of respondents who have been on X or Y Airline at least 3 times and boarded the aircraft in the last 3 years. The total sample is 530 samples. The data used are primary data obtained from online questionnaires. Data analysis method used is the Competitive Zone of Tolerance Based Importance-Performance Analysis. The results of this study concluded that the AIRQUAL indicator that became the priority order of improvement for the X airline is the cleanliness of the well-maintained aircraft toilets (Airline Tangible dimension), airline officials were willing to provide their assistance to everyone on the plane (personal service dimension), airline officers dressed well (empathy dimension) and ticket prices that are the same value as the service received (image dimension). Whereas Y Airline gets a positive CZSQ and d value. This indicates that Y Airline still outperforms X Airline in the attributes included in quadrant A in the CZIPA matrix. The AIRQUAL indicators that enter into the A quadrant are the availability of seats and the provision of promotions that are very attractive to passengers (image dimension) and clean and comfortable seats (Airline Tangible dimension). Keywords: Service Quality, airqual, importance-performance analysys (IPA) competitive zone of tolerance based on importance-performance analysys (CZIPA)

Abstract

This study aims to analyze whether there is an effect of intellectual capital on financial performance as moderated by the company's reputation. The financial performance is seen from the financial ratios, namely the ratio of profitability (return on assets).  This type of research is classified into comparative research. The population in this study were 45 banks listed on the Indonesian stock exchange in 2014-2018. Sampling in this study using purposive sampling method in order to obtain a sample of 36 banks with a total sample of 180 samples. The type of data used is secondary data obtained from the official website of the Indonesian stock exchange www.idx.id  and published financial reports on the websites of each bank sample. Based on the results of the regression test with a significant level of 0.1; The results obtained indicate (1) there is a significant effect of intellectual capital on financial performance. (2) company reputation moderates the relationship between intellectual capital and financial performance. Keywords: Intellectual capital, financial performance, company reputation
