Abstract

The problem studied in this study is the low ability to solve mathematical problems, therefore the study aims to determine the effect of the Practice Rehearsal Pairs learning strategy on the mathematical problem solving ability of students of the VIII Even Semester SMP Al-Azhar 3 Bandar Lampung in the 2018/2019 Academic Year. Research using experimental methods. The population in the study were all students of class VIII Al-Azhar 3 Middle School Bandar Lampung consisting of 7 classes with a total of 251 students, while the sample was taken 2 classes namely class VIII C as an experimental class totaling 32, and class VIII C as a control class amounting to 34. The sample was taken using the Cluster Random Sampling technique. To find out the ability to solve mathematical problems students are measured by tests. Hypothesis testing uses t-test with a value of t = 12,62. From the distribution table t at a significant level of 5%, it is known that t = = 2,00 means t > t , so it can be concluded that "There is an influence of the Practice Rehearsal Pairs learning strategy on the mathematical problem solving ability of students of class VIII Even Semester Al-Azhar 3 Middle School in Bandar Lampung 2018/2019 Academic Year".

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the application of the learning model of circuit learning to the learning outcomes of class VII first semester students of SMP Al-Azhar 3 Bandar Lampung in the academic year 2019/2020. This research is a quasi-experimental study using two classes as the experimental class and the control class. The population in this study was all students of class VII SMP Al-Azhar 3 Bandar Lampung as many as 278 students divided into seven classes. The sample in this study was determined using cluster random sampling technique. Class VII D as an experimental class and class VII F as a control class. The instrument used in this study was in the form of essay test questions. Based on the results of research and discussion, the circuit learning model affects the learning outcomes of Grade VII students of SMP Al-Azhar 3 Bandar Lampung. These effects can be seen from the differences in learning outcomes between the experimental class and the control class.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a math problem type PISA to familiarize students using problems with PISA standard and produces a valid, practical, PISA context of Puri Tri Agung type and see the basic math skills (KDM) seen from the context of Puri Tri Agung. The research method used is design research with the type of research development. The result of the research is a valid PISA math problem at the expert review stage and one to one, while the practicality is done by small group stages. Ability that is found in the form of communication, representation, mathematical, reasoning and argument, and formulate strategy to solve the problem.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of mathematics and the lack of active students in the learning process in class. This study aims to determine the completeness of student learning outcomes after participating in learning using the Creative Problem Solving model using Probing techniques, as well as to describe student learning activities during the learning process. The type of research used is in the form of Pre Experimental Design. The population is all grade VII students of SMP Negeri 2 Lubuklinggau in the 2018/2019 academic year and the sample is grade VII.12 students with 29 students. Data collection is done by testing and observation techniques. The collected data were analyzed using t-test at a significant level α = 0.05. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the mathematics learning outcomes of Grade VII students of SMP Negeri 2 Lubuklinggau after applying the Creative Problem Solving model using the Probing technique are significantly completed. The average final test score is 83.0 and the percentage of students who complete reaches 75.9%. The average score of student learning activities has increased ateach learning meeting.

Abstract

This study aims to know the effect of applying Numbered Head Together learning models to mathematics learning outcomes. The Numbered Head Together learning model is a learning model that assigns numbers to groups or provides opportunities for students to share ideas and consider the most appropriate answers. This research uses the experimental method. The population in this study were all eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 4 Negeri Agung, it has two classes with a total of 66 students. Samples were taken using a total sampling technique, which consisted of 2 classes, namely the VIII1 as an experimental class that learned through the Numbered Head Together learning model and the VIII2 as a control class that using conventional model. Data collection techniques using test, namely in written tests in the form of essays, with a total of 10 items. Data analysis was used using the t-test formula. Based on the results of data analysis that the researchers have done, the results show that t cal = 4.76, and from the distribution table t at a significant level of 5% obtained tf = 2.00. These results remind that t cal > t tab. The results showed that the average score of experimental class was 74.94 while the control class was 62.18. From the results of research and data analysis, it can be concluded that the Numbered Head Together learning model has a positive effect on mathematics learning outcomes for VIII grade students of the even semester of SMP Negeri 4 Negeri Agung in the academic year of 2018/2019.

Abstract

Covid-19 is a virus that has spread to almost all parts of the world. This virus was confirmed to have entered Indonesian territory in March 2020. The spread of this virus caused losses not only in the economic field but also in the education sector. In the field of education, Covid-19 overhauled the Indonesian learning system, all learning activities that were originally face-to-face directly are now carried out online starting from elementary school to tertiary level. This research is a research that shows the impact of online learning activities at IAIN Metro Lampung. The data in this study are in the form of questionnaires that are distributed through Google forms links and are described qualitatively. The negative impact of Covid-19 students' understanding of the material is deemed to be less than optimal and lecturers are less able to conduct a comprehensive assessment of students so learning is less effective. The positive impact of Covid-19 students can master the online learning platform used by lecturers so that they are ready to become teachers who are able to face the demands of the industrial era 4.0. The subjects consisted of all Tadris Mathematics students at IAIN Metro Lampung.

Abstract

The problem that the author encountered in class X SMK Palapa Bandar Lampung is the low ability of mathematical communication. The purpose of the study was to determine the difference in average mathematical communication skills of students who use the Two Stay Two Stray (TS-TS)cooperative learning model with TS-TS using the Conventional learning model in class X students even semester of SMK Palapa Bandar Lampung. This study used an experimental method, the population of the study was 123 students of SMK Palapa Bandar Lampung, samples taken using the Random Sampling Cluster technique, namely the X PM class as the Experiment class and the AP X Class as the Control class. Students' mathematical communication skills are carried out with an essay test which amounts to 6 questions which are first tested for their validity and reliability. From the results of testing the hypothesis using the t-test obtained thit = 4.94 from the t distribution table at a significant level of 5% known tdaf = 1.67. So thit > tdaf so that it can be concluded that "There is an Effect of the Application of the Two Stay Two Stray Cooperative Learning Model (TS-TS) on the Mathematical Communication Ability of Class X Students in the even semester of SMK Palapa Bandar Lampung

Abstract

The problems discussed in this study are related to the low mathematics learning outcomes of students in class VIII of SMP Negeri 3 Trimurjo, Central Lampung. Based on this, this study aims to determine whether the cooperative learning model of Sending Greetings and Questions has an effect on the mathematics learning outcomes of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Trimurjo, Central Lampung. This research is using experimental method. The population in this study was class VIII SMP Negeri 3 Trimurjo Central Lampung which consisted of 3 classes with a total of 94 students and samples from each class amounted to 34 students as samples in the experimental class and 34 students as samples in the control class. Samples were taken using cluster random sampling technique. The instrument in this study used an essay test consisting of 10 items. The results of hypothesis testing using t-test and obtained thit = 9.48 and from the total distribution of t at a significant level of 5% it is known that t(1-α) = 2.00. It is proven that thit > tdaf so that it can be concluded that there is an influence of the cooperative learning model of the technique of sending greetings and questions on the Mathematics Learning Outcomes of Class VIII SMP students.

Abstract

Abstract: The research aims to (1) produce LKPD products using the Indonesian Realistic Mathematics (PMRI) approach to grade VII (2) improving the math learning outcomes of grade VII students using LKPD with the Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Approach (PMRI). This type of research is development research. The stages in the research are analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Product validation is carried out by 6 expert lecturers in accordance with the field Then LKPD is given a practical questionnaire to be responded to by students of grade VII SMP Advent Bandar Lampung in LKPD product trials. The material expert validation results in the aspect of material suitability with KD, material accuracy, image accuracy, material order, and aspects of PMRI characteristics all obtained a value of 4 with valid criteria. Validation of media experts in both the aspect of the cover design and the content design obtained a value of 3 with fairly valid criteria. Validation of language experts on aspects of sentence structure accuracy, understanding of messages and information obtains a value of 4 with valid criteria. After using LKPD that has been developed students experienced improved math learning results from 13% to 76%. Thus the Triangular and Rectangular LKPD with PMRI approach to class VII deserves to be used as a teaching material. Keywords: development, lkpd, pmri.

Abstract

Abstract: The problems studied in this study are related to the low ability of students to think critically in mathematics. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the CORE (Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, Extending) learning model on the mathematical critical thinking skills of eighth graders in the Even Semester of SMP Al-Azhar 3 Bandar Lampung in the 2017/2018 academic year. This study uses experimental methods, as well as data analysis using statistical formulas. The population in this study were all students of class VIII SMP Al-Azhar 3 Bandar Lampung which consisted of 7 classes with a total of 254 students, while the sample was taken 2 classes, namely class VIII B as the experimental class which amounted to 35 students, and class VIII A as the control class. totaling 35 students. The sample was taken using the Cluster Random Sampling technique. To determine the students' critical thinking skills in mathematics, the writer conducted a test in the form of an essay as many as 5 questions. Hypothesis testing using t-test. From the results of hypothesis testing using the t-hit statistical formula, the thit value = 15.24. From the t distribution table at a significant level of 5%, it is known that tdaf = 2.00, which means that t > t daf is 15.24 > 2.00, so it can be concluded that "There is an influence on the application of the learning model CORE (Connecting, Organizing, Extending, Reflecting) on the mathematical critical thinking skills of grade VIII students in the even semester of Al-Azhar 3 Junior High School Bandar Lampung in the 2017/2018 academic year”. This situation can also be seen from the average value students' mathematical critical thinking skills where the experimental class has an average value of 78 and the control class has an average value of 52.9.
