Abstract

Python programming language is reliable enough to solve Machine Learning and Deep Learning problems. This paper describes how to solve earthquake prediction problems using the Python programming language that runs in the Jupyter Notebook environment. With the python library used, namely Keras. Deep Learning programming for this earthquake prediction system is the following programming sequence: data preparation, Keras model determination, Keras model compilation, Keras model adjustment, Keras model evaluation, and prediction system creation. From the test results of the earthquake prediction system using the python programming language, the results are quite satisfying. The simulation results show the results of the Deep Learning training process for the prediction system of b-value as an earthquake precursor with several iterations of 10,000 times, the results of MSE, RMSE, MAPE, and the percentage of successful predictions are 5.43 x 10-5; 0.00737; 0.80897 and 99.19% respectively. The results of the Deep Learning testing process for the b-value prediction system as an earthquake precursor which was carried out during the five tests obtained an average of MSE, RMSE, MAPE and the percentage of successful predictions was 0.03886; 0.19003; 23.96459, and 77.75%.

Abstract

2020 is a test year for each country globally. The Covid-19 pandemic is a scourge from various sides/fields of life in society, nation, and state. In Indonesia, the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic has been felt in the health, economy, even social and policy sectors. The pandemic, which started at the end of 2019 until now, still leaves homework for various countries, including Indonesia, to immediately carry out countermeasures effectively and efficiently. The policy that will then be taken sees the condition that is still unstable, then leads to WHO recommendations, namely the application of the new normal, including in Indonesia. The policy New Normal which leads to encouraging the implementation of "normal" social, national, and state life and side by side with Covid-19 while still implementing strict health protocols, will not work optimally if the level of public awareness is not high. People who are not alert and vigilant and lead to apathy about the policies and conditions of Covid-19 will have an even bigger "iceberg" impact. This study aims to disseminate information through a peer education strategy with the help of information technology-based media related to the implementation of the policy New Normal in the response to Covid 19 in Indonesia. This socialization is packed with technological developments and a touch of humanism in society and industrial development 5.0. This research is expected to be a form of the contribution of UPN "Veteran" East Java to the local community, nation, and state. In particular, this is to help make the policy effective New Normal in dealing with the impact of Covid 19 in Indonesia.

Abstract

Climate has a very decisive influence in influencing comfort conditions in space, one of which is its effect on lighting in the room. This lighting performance is greatly influenced by the performance of the openings that allow sunlight to enter the space so that the light intensity in the room can increase. There is a linear relationship between light intensity and aperture, so we need a way to optimize the performance of openings that can be controlled with a shade system or a device that can control the entry of sunlight into space. Active sunshade model or smart shading is one strategy to control incoming sunlight dynamically and to follow changes in light intensity that enters space. This actively adapting shading device is a shading device consisting of a vertical plane consisting of two panels that can move up and down according to the needs of room light intensity. This device is controlled by a control device that gets the light intensity data input from a sensor that is placed in the room to control the light intensity in the room. From the shading device that has been made, it is found that the performance of the device can adapt activities to the light intensity of space ranging from 100-200 lux in daytime conditions with an average panel opening of 12.81-14.42% of the window area.

Abstract

Based on research on land damage in 2019 in the highland area of ??Probolinggo, it was categorized as light to moderate damage. Follow-up research in the middle plains that have the potential to experience land damage due to intensive land use without paying attention to conservation principles, with an indication that the production and income of farmers continue to decline. The research aims to identify the status of critical land and compile a database of critical land for the medium lands of Probolinggo district including Sumberasih, Wonomerto, Bantaran, Maron, Krejengan, Tegalsiwalan, and Pakuniran. The research method for the distribution of critical land using the Geographic Information System is divided into the main activity stages, namely the compilation of databases and data analysis. Database preparation begins with data collection, supporting maps, and literature study. Meanwhile, data analysis used map overlay analysis. The analysis for the preparation of spatial data for critical land consists of 3 stages: overlapping, editing attribute data, and tabular analysis. The level of erosion in the 7 sub-districts of the study area includes very heavy (SB) in the open land of Pakuniran and residential land in Krejengan, the level of gravity on empty land, dryland in Pakuniran, and settlements in Pakuniran, Tegalsiwalan, and Maron. The research area includes 7 districts in Probolinggo which has an area of ??36,017.68 ha, with a non-critical status of 15,613.22 ha (43.35%). Critical potential 10,942.66 ha (30.38%), rather critical 8,134.56 ha (22.58%). critical 196.23 ha (0.54%) and very critical 1.131.01 ha (3.14%).

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed all aspects of life including people's habits of traveling and traveling. People limit themselves to mobilization to avoid spreading the virus. But that does not mean tourist attractions do not have the opportunity to rise again during the new normal era. According to the Director of the Indonesia Ecotourism Network, Ary Suhandi, in the new normal era, the trend of large numbers of tourism (mass tourism) is predicted to be replaced by the trend of quality tourism. "Ecotourism, adventure, and wellness tourism are great opportunities (travel.detik.com). So, that serious effort is needed by ecotourism managers to take advantage of these opportunities. The strategy carried out by the management must continue to prioritize the principles of health protocol handling covid 19. So that will provide comfort for visitors and managers. Ecotourism Gunung Anyar is one of the ecotourism in the East of Surabaya City which is back active in the new normal era. Various kinds of strategies are carried out by ecotourism Gunung Anyar to survive during the COVID-19 pandemic conditions. discussing Gunung Anyar's ecotourism strategy in facing the new normal era but still prioritizing the concept of conservation and education. This study uses qualitative and quantitative methods. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the strategy carried out includes internal and external strategies. The manager's efforts to continue to prioritize the concept of conservation, while externally are related to service strategies to visitors during the new normal.

Abstract

Bomber is an endeavor the village earth belongs to the village of Berbek. The bomber was founded in October 2019. This business is moving in the field of selling stationery supplies and services for college and office needs. There are several problems faced by Bumber, namely the creation of the Bumber logo not designed based on considerations in making a good logo. So that the logo does not reflect Bumber's character/identity/business image. Stand size not too big give the impression and feel cramped. So it's not easy to see potential customers. Banner material is not durable, so it must continue updated and requires continuous banner creation costs. Sign laying identifier is not well conceptualized, so put it carelessly, and even on the shoulder of the highway which can endanger road users. Location of the parking lot irregular because there is no sign indicating where to park. This business is still classified just started, so it still needs a lot of attractive promotional media in order can get a lot of customers. From the problems described above, then this community service aims to solve the problem by redesigning the Bumber logo which can imitate Bumber, designed the sign system for communicating Bumber's presence, and design promotions to increase the number of subscribers. To achieve this goal the Community Service Program uses both the preparation stage and the creation stage method. The preparation phase includes data collection (observation, interviews, questionnaires) and determining the media. Then the creation stage includes pre-production (verbal concepts, visual concepts, media concept), production (alternative design, final design, media execution), and post-production (media application, evaluation)
