Abstract

Penyimpanan pada suhu rendah merupakan salah satu penanganan yang diupayakan untuk menjaga kualitas mangga agar sesuai dengan keinginan dan permintaan pasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa perubahan mutu buah mangga arumanis selama penyimpanan dingin. Buah mangga Arumanis dengan umur panen 75 HSBM dan 90 HSBM disimpan pada suhu 8 OC dan 13 OC selama 22 hari dengan pengambilan data 2 hari sekali. Indikator mutu yang diukur perubahannya adalah TPT, total asam, rasio gula asam, susut bobot, dan kekerasan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadi kenaikan TPT dan susut bobot, kekerasan menurun dan total asam mengalami penurunan yang fluktuatif, sedangkan rasio gula asam cenderung meningkat. Terjadinya perubahan indikator mutu mangga Arumanis selama penyimpanan diharapkan dapat menjadi dasar untuk penanganan buah mangga Arumanis selama peyimpanan dingin agar memperpanjang umur simpan dan mempertahankan mutunya selama penyimpanan.

Abstract

Kehilangan hasil yang disebabkan serangan hama dan penyakit berkisar antara 12-65%. Penyakit utama yang sering menimbulkan kerugian pada usahatani cabai adalah penyakit yang disebabkan oleh golongan virus. Penyakit yang disebabkan oleh virus hanya dapat disebarkan melalui bahan tanam dan serangga vektor. Kajiwidya ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis serangga yang menyebarkan penyakit yang disebabkan oleh virus pada tanaman cabai. Tanaman cabai merah varietas lokal ditanam dengan sistem bedengan menggunakan mulsa plastik perak. Pemupukan tanaman menggunakan pupuk kandang diaplikasikan pada saat pengolahan lahan, dan pupuk susulan NPK yang diaplikasikan setelah penanaman. Penetapan sampel tanaman diambil secara diagonal dengan lima titik pengamatan, masing-masing titik diambil 5 sampel tanaman secara acak. Pengamatan dimulai saat tanaman cabai berumur 25 hst dengan interval 1 (satu) kali seminggu pada pagi hari. Parameter yang diamati adalah Gejala penyakit, Intensitas penyakit, Jenis dan jumlah serangga vektor, serta Jenis dan jumlah musuh alami. Hasil pengamatan ditemukan 3 gejala penyakit yang berbeda dengan intensitas serangan 65,71% (dinyatakan sebagai serangan berat). Ditemukan 3 jenis serangga vektor yaitu kutu kebul, Trips dan Aphids. dimana terjadi peningkatan intensitas serangan seiring meningkatnya populasi serangga vektor tersebut.

Abstract

Diversifikasi produksi pertanian sebagai salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan perekonomian pertanian, salah satu caranya melalui penganekaragaman produksi komoditas pertanian. Selada keriting dan Seledri merupakan suatu komoditi sayuran yang memiliki prospek dan nilai komersial yang cukup baik, untuk menganalisis peningkatan pendapatan dan kelayakan usaha selada keriting dan seledri hidroponik dilakukan dengan menganalisis data-data yang didapat secara praktek kerja lapangan di Pt. Cifa Indonesia Kabupaten Bogor yang dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari sampai April 2020 untuk mengumpulkan data primer yang meliputi pengamatan, kuisioner , dan wawancara serta pengumpulan data sekunder meliputi data pembiayaan usahatani dan data-data yang berhubungan dengan perusahaan, bertujuan untuk menganalisis peningkatan pendapatan dan kelayakan usaha pada strategi diversifikasi selada keriting dan seledri hidroponik. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan alat analisis : BEP, B/C Ratio, R/C Ratio, ROI, PBP, IRR, NPV. Total Net Margin yang didapat dari diversifikasi selada keriting dan seledri selama satu tahun adalah Rp55.478.135 dengan nilai Net Benefit Cost 4,4, nilai Net Revenue Cost 2,4 , nilai Return Of Investement 12%, nilai Pay Back Periode 5,5 bulan, nilai Internal Rate Return 55%, dan nilai Net Present Value Rp601.561.199 selama 7 tahun, ini menunjukan bahwa usaha diversifikasi ini layak dikembangkan. Analisis SWOT yang menyatakan usaha diversifikasi produk ini layak dikembangkan, ini ditunjukan berdasarkan strategi strength-opportunities yaitu kekuatan dengan memanfaatkan peluang dengan memaksimalkan hasil produksi selada keriting dan seledri hidroponik yang sesuai dengan permintaan konsumen dan tren pasar sehingga tercipta loyalitas konsumen baik terhadap produk maupun perusahaan.

Abstract

Integrated Planting Calendar Information System (SI KATAM Integrated) is one of the technological innovations produced by the Agency for Agricultural Research and Development. Application of technology to hybrid corn plants is one way to increase productivity. The technological feasibility of all requirements of technology to be adopted by farmers. This study aims to: 1) calculate the benefits of hybrid corn farming with application of technological recommendations on the Integrated KATAM SI KM 2017 and, 2) analyze the feasibility of hybrid corn farming using technology on the SI Integrated KATAM MK 2017. The research was conducted in July-August 2017 in 11 lands cooperative farmers covering of ​​4 hectare areas in Kelurahan Kemumu, Arma Jaya District, North Bengkulu Regency. The data used to achieve the goal is primary data consisting of farm data collected in agricultural records storage. The technology applied implements Integrated KATAM SI using Bima 19 URI and Bima 20 URI varieties. Farm profit is calculated using profit analysis while farm feasibility is assessed by the R/C ratio and B/C ratio. The results showed that the farming of Bima 19 URI varieties gave a higher profit compared to Bima 20 URI with the full value of Rp. 13,312,862/MT/ha and Rp. 8,560,862 /MT/ha. Using hybrid corn with the recommended application on SI KATAM Integrated MK 2017, the economic ratio of R/C ratio >1 and farming economy is feasible to be developed with a B/C ratio of >0.

Abstract

Non-timber forest products (NTFPs) is a forest resource that has an important role for the welfare of the communities around the forests, particularly in protected forest areas. Honey is one of NTFPs that have long been used in West Nusa Tenggara province. Increased national honey production is needed to be able to meet the high demand of honey in Indonesia. One of the way to increase production of honey is by doing beekeeping. This study aims to obtain information about the financial feasibility in Protected Forest Management Unit (KPHL) West Rinjani. Sample collection has been done by using purposive sampling method with consideration of the number of holdings stup/the most bee colonies. Research analysis has been done by using a combination of quantitative-qualitative method. Financial analysis conducted to determine the feasibility of beekeeping using investment criteria NPV, BCR and IRR in KPHL Rinjani Barat.The result show that the cultivation of honey bee Apis cerana types in Resort Malimbu feasible with NPV = Rp. 104 229 381 - Rp.1.036.687.824 / 10 years; BCR = 2.85 to 5.79; IRR = 40.92% - 42.34%. Enterprises beekeeping types of Trigona sp in Resort Malimbu also feasible with NPV = Rp. 45,491,153 - Rp. 92,973,767 / 10 years;BCR = 1.21 to 1.34; IRR = 23.52% - 27.91%.

Abstract

Saat ini lahan pertanian produktif semakin sempit mengakibatkan kuantitas tanah semakin berkurang, sehingga perlu adanya solusi yang mampu menggantikan atau meminimalisasi keperluan media tanam selain tanah, salah satunya adalah batu zeolit. Penggunaan batu zeolit yang diperoleh dari alam secara berkelanjutan akan mengakibatkan eksploitasi sehingga solusi yang ditawarkan adalah proses aktivasi ulang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kombinasi dan aktivasi ulang batu zeolit sebagai media tanam dalam pertumbuhan tanaman bayam (Amaranthus sp). Penelitian dilakukan di Green House Jurusan Pendidikan Biologi, Universitas Siliwangi, pada bulan Juli sampai September 2018. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode true experimental dengan 11 perlakuan dan satu kali ulangan. Media tanam batu zeolit diaktivasi secara fisika-kimia. Tanaman bayam yang berumur 2 minggu ditumbuhkan pada berbagai media perlakuan antara lain: kombinasi tanah dan batu zeolit dengan proses aktivasi ulang dan aktivasi baru dengan rasio perbandingan 10%:90%, 20%:80%, 30%:70%, 40%:60%, 50%:50% dan kontrol. Parameter pertumbuhan yang diukur berupa jumlah daun, luas daun, berat basah, tinggi batang, dan kemunculan bunga. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi aktivasi ulang 40%;60% (Dl) memberikan pengaruh lebih baik terhadap peningkatan jumlah daun sebanyak 3 helai, luas daun 71,5 cm dan berat basah sebesar 18,73 gram.

Abstract

Abstrack Data as a source of information is very important to support the developmentof sustainable agriculture. The obstacle that is experienced the most by the Department of Agriculture is the availability of information systems of agricultural data that are not up to date. CarryMap is an application that is used to display a land distribution mapand also information without enclose data in the form of shape files or the other data.This study aims to 1) describe the existence of agricultural potential data in the BPP of North Sinjai,Sinjai; 2) describe the mechanism of data collection used in North Sinjai; 3)design an application of digital map for data management existed in North Sinjaito make the application becomes more effective; 4)describe the implementation of the digital map application based on geographic information systems of North Sinjai; 5) describe the use of data as the information of agricultural development. This study is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The main techniques in collecting data are document study and in-depth interviews. The results showed that the dataof agricultural potential was still not organizedwell because the mechanism of data collection was still done manually. The application design went through several stages but the implementation of the application design was well responded by the agricultural extensions. The use of data as a source of information on agricultural development must have a potential data of land resourcein detail. Keywords : CarryMap, Data, Digital Map

Abstract

Organic fertilizer comes from dead plants, animal impurities, and organic waste that has gone through the process of engineering. Kascing is a solid organic fertilizer derived from the process of vermicompost assisted by the role of Earthworm (Lumbricus rubellus). The purpose of this research is to know the content of kascing by conducting laboratory tests and know the dose of kascing for increasing the production of Pakcoy by conducting experimental design. The research was conducted on campus Politeknik Pembangunan Pertanian Malang using Randomized Block Design (RBD). Data analysis is processed using Analysis of Varience (ANOVA) with a level of 5%, and followed by a test Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) if there is a real difference with the level of 5%. Laboratory test results showed C-organic content: 35.43%, C/N ratio: 23.16, N: 1.53%, P2O5:2.94%, and K2O: 0.60%. Experimental design of the influence of kascing at a dose of 0 g, 300 g, 400 g, 500 g, 600 g, and 700 g of Pakcoy gave a different result in the high parameters of plants, the number of leaves, and the fresh weight of Pakcoy. While the parameters of pakcoy roots give no different results.

Abstract

Mojogedang sub-district is a center for organic rice production in Karanganyar and is known as a pilot for organic rice cultivation by other regions, with a production size of 803.93 tons/harvest based on 2020 data from the Karanganyar Organic Farmers Association. However, not all farmers have implemented organic farming from upstream to downstream. This study aims to examine the attitudes of rice farmers towards the application of organic agriculture, to examine the factors shaping the attitudes of rice farmers towards the application of organic agriculture, and to examine the influence of the factors forming attitudes towards the attitudes of rice farmers towards the application of organic agriculture. This research uses quantitative methods. The location selection was done by purposive method, namely Mojogedang District, Karanganyar Regency. Sampling with the proportional stratified random sampling method of 80 farmers. The data analysis used is the frequency distribution and Multiple Linear Regression. The results showed that: (1) the attitude of the farmers was in a good category. (2) The factors forming the attitude of farmers in this study include formal education, non-formal education, experience, land area, mass media, group values ​​, and the economic environment. (3) There is a significant effect of non-formal education, land area, group values ​​, and the economic environment on the attitude of rice farmers towards the application of organic agriculture. There is an insignificant effect of formal education, experience, and mass media on the attitude of rice farmers towards the application of organic agriculture.

Abstract

Soybeans (Glycine max (L) Merr.) are legumes that contain high vegetable protein, fat source, vitamins, and minerals. One of the products is soy milk. Soy milk has a strong beany flavour and a chalky mouthfeel. The flavour of soybeans in soy milk can be reduced by applying the appropriate processing techniques. One of the important steps in processing soybeans into soy milk is to soak soybeans. Studies related to soaking soybeans to soy milk are rarely found. This research was intended to find out the long-lasting influence of soybean to the organoleptic characteristics of soy milk so that the soy milk is produced by its acceptance (good acceptance). A completely randomized design was used with three treatments of soybean soaking long as follows, 6 hours, 12 hours, and 24 hours. The organoleptic data was carried out with ANOVA method at α=5% and followed by DMRT. The results showed that long soaking the soybean only affected the level of taste and overall acceptance of soy milk. In addition, the best soaking time of soybean was 12 hours because it was able to influence the taste level of flavor with the highest acceptance and the most distinct acceptance compared to other treatment with a preferred assessment score and gave the highest value of the favorite level on all parameters.
