Abstract

This study aimed to analyze and describe the forms, meanings, and functions contained in the traditional art of Moanggo (a folksong of Tolakinese society) in Konawe regency. The study employed a qualitative method. The data of the study was oral data obtained from native speakers who know well about Moanggo. The targeted informants were those who hold good expertise/fluency with Moanggo and were living in Konawe regency. The techniques of data collection used in this study were: 1) recording, 2) note-taking, 3) elicitation. The techniques of data analysis involved transcription and translation, followed by heuristic and hermeneutic reading, and then finally interpreting the forms, meanings, and functions contained in the text of Moanggo. The study employed hermeneutic theory, structural functional theory, and semiotic theory. The results of the study showed that Moanggo takes some forms similar to poems. Moanggo has five forms: anggo mete’ia, anggo mosawa-sawa, anggo monda’u, anggo mombeperiri and anggo ndula-tula. The meanings of Moanggo are related to such themes as advice, religion, and love. Moanggo serves the functions as a way of expressing feeling, giving advice (education), entertaining, and preserving local culture. Keywords: forms, meanings, functions, traditional art of Moanggo.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and know the application of learning model with Contextual Teaching and Learning type (CTL) in SMA Negeri 3 Bukittinggi. How this learning model can be useful and meaningful, both in the process of learning and in the daily life of students as learners. This research type is qualitative research by using descriptive method. The sample of this research is teacher and student of class XI IPS of SMA Negeri 3 Bukittinggi. The sample number of students is 30 people. The instrument of this study is the author's own and performance tests. This research data is analyzed by using deep appreciation of the phenomenon that occurs. The results of this study can be concluded that the application of learning methods using Contextual Teaching and Learning type (CTL) is very useful for teachers and students in improving the quality of teaching and learning process and learning outcomes of students or students. Abstract

The waste referred to herein is a by-product formed by the activity of woody biomass or fibrous ligno-cellulose, an unmet raw material. In this case, it is restricted to merbau wood processing industry. The existence of waste referred to the problem of handling that has been left to rot, stacked and burned all of which have negative impact on the environment so that the handling needs to be considered. One way that can be taken is to use it into value-added products with applicative and populist technology so that the results are easily socialized to the public. Evaluation results show some positive prospect as an example of applicative technology can be applied satisfactorily in converting waste wood processing industry into charcoal charcoal, charcoal briquettes, activated charcoal, charcoal compost and soil conditioning. In general, the combustion process of solids consists of several stages of heating, drying, devolatilization and charcoal burning. Factors that determine the combustion characteristics of a briquette are combustion velocity, heating value, specific gravity and the amount of pollution or volatile compound produced. This research uses raw material of merbau sawdust waste with carbonization temperature and adhesive used in research in the form of sago flour. Abstract

Cajuput oil has several different constituent components. The compounds of cajuput oil component which becomes the main standard of quality assessment in this study is the percentage of cineole compound. In Indonesia, oils with a concentration of 1.8 sineol over 55% are considered as first quality oils, and those below this value are considered as standard oils. The conventional method used in this study to analyze the compounds of the cajuput oil component is Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectroscopy (GC-MS). By using GC-MS on Product A, Product B, and Product C, it shows that there are 13 compounds identified as the compounds composing cajuput oil in each product and the percentage of the content of each compound is also varied. The content of the main compound of cajuput oil in product A (product from private company) and C (product from trading company) is sineol compound of 72,11% and 53,17%, while in Product B (product from private company), the main compound is α-pinene of 61.92%. The results of the analysis also shows that the content of cineole as the main compound of the cajuput oil in Product A and Product C has met the quality standard of SNI 06-3954-2006, while Product B has not. Abstract

Population in this study refers to the all company except non financial companies that listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange Period 2014-2016. The technique used in this study is purposive sampling with 7 samples of the companies were selected which in the period of three years, so there were 21 samples data of companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange Period 2014-2016 are used.This study aims to examine the effect partially between Sustainability Report Disclosure to Return On Assets (ROA), Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and Inventory Turnover (IT) on companies listed in BEI period 2014-2016. Methods of data analysis in this research is panel data regression analysis using Eviews 10.Based on the result of this research shows that partially Sustainability Report Disclosure have no effect on Return On Asset (ROA), Sustainability Report Disclosure have a positive and significant effect on Current Ratio (CR), Sustainability Report Disclosure have have no effect on Debt to Equity Ratio(DER), Sustainability Report Disclosure have have no effect on Inventory Turnover(IT. Abstract

The type of this research is a study case with qualitative desrictive aproach. the informant is chosen by purposive sampling technique, who as mother and farm worker. The data is obtained by employing Observation, Interview, and Documentation. The datais analysed by using descriptive qualitative analysis technigue. The results of the research reveal that factors causingthe farmer’s wife to do multiple roles arethe internal and external factors. The internal factors are the husband’s income connot fulfill the daily needs, not to mention the number of famillymembers. The external factors are the invorenment conditions of farming fields which need lots of workers, low education and lack of adequate skills causing no chance for others jobs. The forms of multiple roles as a mother are nurturing the children and husband, and as a wife educating the children and helping family’s economic matter. The impacts of multiple roles are difficulty in conducting her domestic jobs, less time to distribute equal time with multiple roles carried out, tiridness to conduct the job professionally, and complains to husband when she is tired due to multiple roles Keyword : farmer’s wife, multiple roles

Abstract

Women work is an achievement in itself. However, there are times when working women contribute to social problems. The media participates in this practice. This study aims to (1) analyze the text to see how women are marginalized through language constructs, (2) to analyze media behavior toward career women's marginalization, and (3) to analyze how social behavior in society contributes to the marginalization of career women. This research takes the data source in Kartini magazine on career consultation rubric. This research uses the analysis of critical discourse of van Dijk. The results show that in text analysis (macro structure, superstructure, and microstructure), social cognition analysis, and social analysis together form a marginalization in career women. Abstract

The texts displayed in the public sphere either static text or mobile text are a sign of social activity in progress and work. The dominance of the choice of certain language codes and the script used is a symbol of the social dominance of certain groups in the society. The linguistic landscape is a study that investigates texts in the public sphere in order to analyze the factors of language and social factors that exist. This study also served to analyze social phenomena in the community due to social activities. The study also looks at how language contests and competes in public areas. The more varied and tangled the texts are on display, there needs to be structuring by the government as a stakeholder. The arrangement is in the form of four considerations: (1) language revitalization in the effort of language defense, (2) education through text messages, (3) text that is explicitly sanctioned using more persuasive and targeted language (not carelessly displayed); and (4) government presence in the choice of language settings so that language issues have no impact on social conflicts Keyword: Linguistics Lanscape, language revitalization, language maintenance, public space
