Abstract

This research is intended to identify and evaluate the contribution of Sharia financial inclusion at Sharia People's Financing Bank Bhakti Sumekar to the development of MSMEs in Sumenep Regency with the dimensions of accessibility, use of products and services, and service quality. This study determined sample size followed the Roscoe formula. At least 40 MSMEs were customers of Sharia People's Financing Bank Bhakti Sumekar were obtained. To collect data, a combination of interview methods and questionnaire distribution were used. The data was analyzed using SPSS for instrument testing, descriptive statistics, multiple linear regression, classical assumption testing, and hypothesis testing. Results showed that simultaneously, the variables of accessibility, use of products and services, and service quality have a significant impact on the development of MSMEs. However, partial use of products and services does not have a big impact on the development of MSMEs. This is partly due to the limited public awareness regarding Sharia financing, as well as the frequent misuse of credit financing. The implications of this research can provide direct benefits of Islamic financial inclusion, such as easier access to financing, better financial management, and increased business capacity. This will ultimately contribute to improved MSME performance, regional economic growth, and community welfare.

Abstract

The establishment of halal-labeled restaurants that offer a diverse range of food and beverages is in line with the growing awareness of halal certification. However, the importance of halal certification was not fully known by the public. This study aimed to investigate the potential influence of knowledge, attitude, and religiosity on consumers' purchase interest in halal restaurants in West Java. In addition, certain eateries emphasize the natural and cultural aspects of the region. The varied traditional cuisine, business centers, and the presence of Muslim communities make West Java an attractive destination for those seeking a religiously oriented and convenient dining experience. This study used primary data collected from 100 respondents through a questionnaire distributed via Google Forms. The study utilized purposive sampling, a type of non-probability sampling, and employed multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS version 29 for data analysis, the study was conducted in 3 stages, namely t-test, f-test, and coefficient of determination test. The findings indicate that attitude and religiosity factors influence consumer purchase intention at the halal restaurant. Conversely, knowledge was not proven to significantly affect public purchase intention at the halal restaurant in this study. This research has significant implications for halal restaurant owners. Halal restaurant owners in West Java can better understand the needs and preferences of Muslim consumers, strengthen their market position, and promote the growth of the halal industry in the region.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that affect Earnings Quality. This research will offer a new and broader view on the factors that influence the profit quality of Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia. This research use quantitative study that uses multiple regression analysis methods. The data used is panel data from 2019-2022. The factors analyzed for their influence in this study are Third Party Funds, CFO, and DER. The model estimation used is multiple regression analysis with a quantitative descriptive method. The results of the study show that the CFO and DER have an impact on earnings quality, while, third third-party Funds do not affect Earnings Quality. These findings indicates that banks need to pay more attention to managing operating cash flow (CFO) and capital structure (DER) to improve earnings quality. Proper management of these two variables can help banks achieve more stable and transparent financial performance. Although Third Party Funds do not significantly affect earnings quality, their management is still important to maintain the stability of the bank’s liquidity. These results also suggest that investors and other stakeholders may need to focus on CFO and DER as key indicators when assessing a bank’s earnings quality.
