Abstract

Sports science is one of the fields of sports science that can help sports develop and coach each athlete. Phenomena and problems that occur during the training process in the field can be solved by applying sports science based on data obtained scientifically; this data record assists coaches in determining and providing the proper method for their athletes. One way to use sports science in the field is by measuring the anthropometry of Kuantanamo Futsal Academy students. This study aimed to determine and examine anthropometric measurements in Kuantanamo Futsal Academy students aged 7-10 years. This study uses a quantitative method. This type of research is observational and test. To collect data on student anthropometric measurements that are to be known include a) height, b) weight, c) skin fat, and d) BMI. The subjects in this study were Kuantanamo futsal academy students aged 7-10 years, totaling 20 students. The anthropometric measurements of Kuantanamo Futsal Academy students obtained the following average: height 145.8, weight 41.24, skin fat 14.85, categorized as underfoot (mild level), BMI 19.3, classified as ideal. This can be a reference for coaches to determine what programs should be carried out so that students get treatment appropriate to their body condition.

Abstract

The development of technology and digitalization in the Industrial Age 4.0 brings new challenges in character education, especially in shaping the morality of the younger generation who are exposed to the rapid flow of information and social change. This article aims to analyze the role of philosophy of education as a conceptual foundation in character education management to form a young generation with morality, integrity, and responsibility. Through an interdisciplinary approach that incorporates values from various schools of educational philosophy such as humanism, existentialism and pragmatism, this article highlights how these values can be applied in school policies, curriculum and learning methods. This research uses a qualitative method with literature analysis and case studies on several schools that implement philosophy-based character education. The results show that philosophy-based character education management is able to shape students with deeper moral understanding and stronger ethical awareness in the use of technology. Challenges faced include teachers' limited understanding of educational philosophy and the lack of structured policy support. Nevertheless, philosophy-based character education proved to be more effective in building long-term morality than conventional approaches that focus on reward and punishment.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of philosophy-based physical education management as a foundation in the formation of police character in Indonesia, using the literature review method. Physical education combined with philosophical values has great potential to not only develop physical abilities, but also shape moral character, ethics, and social awareness that are essential in the police profession. Through a literature review of related research, this article identifies five main aspects that can be developed through this approach: (1) improvement of discipline and moral responsibility, (2) strengthening of ethics and sportsmanship, (3) development of self-awareness and moral reflection, (4) formation of mental and emotional resilience, and (5) adaptation of local values in character building. The review shows that philosophy-based physical education can strengthen moral awareness and commitment to social responsibility in police candidates. By integrating philosophical principles such as Aristotelian ethics, self-reflection, and social values relevant to the Indonesian context, this approach enables learners to develop a fuller character that is aligned with the values of the police profession. This research suggests that police academies adapt philosophy-based physical education curricula, provide additional training for instructors, and adapt training programs to local values to produce police officers who are not only physically professional, but also have high integrity and social sensitivity.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the balance between physical skill development and moral development in sports education through the perspective of educational philosophy. Sport education often focuses more on improving physical skills and athletic performance, so that aspects of students' moral development, such as sportsmanship, social responsibility and ethics, are often neglected. Based on a literature review and analysis of educational philosophy, especially from the thoughts of John Dewey and Aristotle, this study found that sports education based on holistic philosophical principles can serve as an effective medium for moral character building in addition to physical development. The study also explores how sport education management can design programs that are balanced between physical and moral dimensions, through the integration of moral values into the curriculum and sport practices. In addition, this study reveals the limitations of implementing this balance in many educational institutions, which often emphasize achievement over character development. The findings suggest that effective sport education not only develops physically competent students, but also ethical and socially responsible individuals. The study concludes with recommendations to strengthen the training of sport teachers and coaches in integrating moral values into physical learning.

Abstract

Leadership in the context of education has a crucial role in determining policy direction, decision-making, and creating an environment conducive to meaningful learning. Philosophy of science, as an epistemological and axiological foundation, provides a conceptual framework that can help educational leaders understand the nature of knowledge, the purpose of education, and ethics in managing educational institutions. This research aims to examine the role of leadership in building sports education management based on the philosophy of science, both from a theoretical and practical perspective. This article outlines key concepts from the philosophy of science that are relevant to sports education management and how these principles can be implemented through various leadership styles, such as transformational, visionary and situational leadership. Practically, the study also explores examples of real-life applications where the integration of strong leadership and philosophy of science can enhance the effectiveness of school management, improve the quality of teaching and encourage innovation in the educational process. The results of this study are expected to make a significant contribution to the development of a philosophy of science-based leadership model that is able to face the challenges of education in the modern era, while improving the quality of sports education management holistically.

Abstract

This paper discusses the concept of value-based educational leadership as a strategic approach to improving the quality of education through the integration of moral and ethical values in the management and operation of educational institutions. This approach is relevant in facing global challenges, such as social crises, technological change, and cultural dynamics, which require leaders with integrity, transparency, and social responsibility. Based on the literature review, value-based leadership not only contributes to the achievement of academic goals but also the formation of student character. This study analyzes the role of value-based leadership in creating a positive organizational culture, motivating teachers, and building a holistic learning environment. In addition, this paper identifies the main challenges in implementing these values, such as the challenge of resistance to change that can be overcome with the active involvement of stakeholders, resource constraints, and the influence of external factors. The results of the study indicate that with a clear vision, community participation, and the use of information technology, value-based leadership can be the key to creating inclusive and sustainable educational institutions. The practical implications of this approach are the development of educational policies that focus more on strengthening character and collaboration between stakeholders.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the integration of ethical values in sports learning in schools through a literature review approach. Ethical values, such as sportsmanship, fairness, responsibility, and cooperation, are important components in sports learning that can shape students' characters. However, the implementation of these values in learning practices often faces various challenges, such as pressure on competitive results, limited teacher training, and minimal curriculum support. This review explores the concept, model, and strategy of integrating ethical values in sports learning based on relevant literature. The results of the analysis show that value-based learning models, such as Teaching Personal and Social Responsibility (TPSR), have succeeded in increasing ethical awareness and positive behavior of students in various contexts. In addition, this study highlights the importance of the role of teachers as value facilitators, as well as the need for institutional support to systematically integrate ethical values into the sports education curriculum. This review also identifies gaps in research related to the implementation of ethical values in developing countries, including Indonesia, which has unique cultural characteristics and education systems. This study recommends the development of educational policies that focus on strengthening ethical values in sport, intensive training for teachers, and further studies that measure the impact of ethical values integration on students' character development
