Abstract

Indonesian students still need to strengthen their ability to integrate information, draw conclusions, and introduce their knowledge to other things. Indonesian students are still weak in answering questions with a level of reasoning. So the purpose of this study is to find out the critical thinking skills and problem-solving of students in class VII-A SMPN 1 Bulakamba academic year 2018/2019 can be improved through learning EDP-Problem Solving Project. EDP-Problem Solving Project facilitates students to implement the engineering design process in conducting problem-solving projects. EDP-Problem Solving Project learning activities consist of stages (1) ask (formulate questions), (2) imagine, (3) plan (plan), (4) creat (make), (5) test (try out), (6) analyze (analyze), (7) conclude (conclude), (8) communicate (communicate), and (9) improve (develop). The study was conducted with a class action research procedure. Data on critical thinking skills and problem-solving are analyzed descriptively. The results showed that critical thinking skills and problem-solving for students of class VII-A SMPN 1 Bulakamba in the 2018/2019 academic year could be improved through learning the EDP-Problem Solving Project.

Abstract

This research aims to apply realistic mathematics education based on local wisdom to improve collaboration and student learning outcomes in quadrilateral material in class VIID SMP Negeri 1 Muara Tiga, Pidie Regency, which consist of 28 students. This research is a classroom action research conducted using two cycles.  The data collection of this research was collected at the end of every  cycle by using the instrument of collaboration and student learning outcomes tests. The result of this research indicates an increase in student collaboration in each cycles. preliminary data on student collaborationis  43.75% with classical completeness  53.57% then the collaboration increased to 62.5% in the first cycle with classical mastery  67.86% and collaboration increased to 75% in the second cycle with classical mastery  85.71%. So it can be concluded that realistic mathematics education based on local wisdom can increase collaboration and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The product of the digital age advances is the existence of sophisticated devices such as smartphones, which are now an inseparable part of human life. This device makes all human activities become practical and fast. The development of the Athletics application Running Number abbreviated as ANOLA is one of the learning innovations. The purpose of this study is to describe the application development, practicality and effectiveness of android-based so that it can be used as a learning media for athletic material running number Method used is Design and Development (D & D) while the process of developing an ANOLA application uses the Analysys, Design, Development, Implementation, Implementation, Evaluation (ADDIE). The results of the study show that the practicality of ANOLA application shows the number 94.67% (Very Practical), while the effectiveness test is 96% (Very Effective). Feasibility test by media experts obtained 96.67% (Very Eligible). The results of the competency test through pre-test and post-test showed an increase in mastery learning in class 8 D students by 53% in the realm of knowledge (KI.3) and by 23% in the realm of skills (KI. 4).

Abstract

Mathematics grade VI achievement in Wates SDN integer material is still disappointing. This is indicated by the low student achievement. The results of problem identification are the factors of the media's lack of interest in learning. For this reason, the writer makes a media that is expected to help understanding in learning. The media are named magic lines. The purpose of the report is to provide an overview of the process of making, the learning process, and student achievement after the development of the magic line. In the process of creating this magic line media the authors develop it with the concept of R & D, namely research and development. During the learning process students look active and enthusiastic. This shows that learning with magic line media can increase student involvement in learning. The results of data analysts showed a significant improvement in the aspects of knowledge and skills. KKM aspects of knowledge and skills have increased to 80% from 60%. The mean knowledge of 65.2 rose to 78.2. The aspect of average skill before 67.6 rose to 80.8. Thus it can be concluded that the magic line media is able to increase student learning achievement.

Abstract

This study aims to determine student interest in remedial learning online at SMPN.1 Tebing, so that students' interest in learning to participate in remedial activities is increasing. So that when there are programmed remedies, many students are absent for various reasons. As the solution of this study showed positive results, by holding Remedial Online learning turned out to be a solution how to attract students' learning interest so that they are complete in science and mathematics lessons, according to the authors of the results of this study 98% showed students caring and responsive with online remedial learning with use Google Drive Software and Smartphone Hardware that they have. 80% of them agree that this activity is able to give them encouragement and motivation, to find out the incomplete material, indirectly build language, science, and mathematics literacy in students, look for references to the material in cyberspace. Remedial online is a future learning solution that is easy to access and obtain wherever students are and are one of the complete independent learning for them to find information and transformation of knowledge they can.

Abstract

The Three Color Circle is a learning medium in English subject that aims to increase the motivation and learning outcomes of students in learning comparison degrees at class VIII SMP Negeri 4 Balikpapan. This research method uses classroom action research (CAR) by adopting Kemmis& Mc Taggart model. The procedure of this research was carried out in two cycles and divided into four activity stages in each cycle. In each stage consists of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The result of this research as follows: 1. 97,1% of the students were highly motivated in learning comparison degrees by using the three-color circle medium. 2. Significant students learning outcomes is 83% compared to before the research 71.4%. 3. Using of three-color circle medium in learning comparison degrees is very helpful for students.

Abstract

This study aims to describe efforts to improve student learning outcomes in learning to make posters through an Android-based process skill approach. With the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method it has been proven that the Android-based process skills approach to learning to make posters can improve the learning process, student activities, and student learning outcomes which are characterized by an increase in student learning processes from an average score of 2 (50%) categories enough in pre-action, it became 3 (75%) good categories in cycle 1 (increased by 25%), and increased in cycle 2 to 3.2 (80%) with very good categories (increased by 5%). Secondly, the increase in student learning activities from an average score of 3 (60%) is sufficient in the pre-action category, to 4 (80%) in the high category in cycle 1 (increased by 20%) and progressively increases in cycle 2 by increasing the average score to 4.4 (87%) the category is very high (an increase of 7%). Third, the increase in student learning outcomes on average 82 (25%) in pre-action to 85 (75%) in cycle 1 (increased 50%) and increased in cycle 2 to 88 (90%). Based on the analysis of practical applications it can be concluded that the approach of the Android-based process skills can improve student learning outcomes in learning to make posters.

Abstract

Learning outcomes that are not optimal can cause delays in further learning. The discovery learning research objective is to develop ICT-based learning media, namely the Andromatics Table which is applied to guided discovery learning and to know its effects on increasing motivation, learning outcomes, and describing the characters developed in the implementation of Mathematics learning. The research uses the 4D (Four-D) model research and development method which includes defining, design, develop, and disseminate. The results showed a significant increase in the motivation, learning outcomes, and character of IVB grade students at Kaliwlingi State Elementary School 02. Based on the ARCS questionnaire instrument, students’ learning motivation increased by 26 students, which initially averaged less than average be very good. The learning outcomes of students whose initial percentage of mastery learning was only 38.46% while after the action percentage of completeness became 96.15% within an average value of learning outcomes reaching 89,62. Mathematics KKM is 65. The character of students that increases after learning based on the PPK movement includes the value of self-reliance, mutual cooperation value, and integrity values. The conclusion can be drawn that Guided Discovery Learning using the Andromatika Table has an impact on increasing motivation, learning outcomes, and developing students’ character.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to solve the problem of comic arising Cerdisbusi that occurred in class VI learning SDN Oro-Oro Ombo 02 Batu in the study of theme 2 on KD IPS and Bahasa Indonesia. KD requires students to understand the material and present the visual, written, and verbal reports. Teachers improve their learning using Cyber class assisted CerDisBuSi The research method used is class action research (PTK) with 2 cycles that each cycle consists of two meetings. From the results of reflections on cycle II, students who meet the KKM of 30 students (94%) Students in the aspect of understanding the material with an average of 86.67 and as many as 29 students (90%) In the skill aspect of presenting the report with an average value of 85.00. Each aspect assessed in Cycle 2 increases from the I cycle results. It can be concluded that comics embossed in cyber-class assisted Certain can improve the learning outcomes of elementary school students.

Abstract

Learning in elementary schools, especially thematic, really requires the support of interesting and easy-to-use media by teachers and students. The development of digital media to support the achievement of learning objectives in elementary schools has been widely developed by various institutions. However, those that are suitable for the child's environment and easy to operate are still very few. The author is interested in developing media that are cheap, easy, and environmentally friendly. The methods used with the ADDIE procedure are analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results of this media development are called TaliLaso QRC. What distinguishes TaliLaso QRC from other similar media is its application in the inclusion class so that the design is specifically designed to suit the needs of inclusive students. After being applied in the learning process of TaliLaso QRC, it shows statistical data of 91.5% increase in the average grade of the class and 90 % increase in the value of inclusive students. Then the final results of the observation showed the motivation and activeness of students in learning increased 89.5% and motivation and activeness of inclusion students reached 100%. It far exceeds the specified KKM value of 80.00.
