Abstract

The low motivation of students in increasing scientific literacy is evidenced by the low learning outcomes of grade VI students. This study aims to develop STEM-based digital comic media to improve students' scientific literacy skills, especially the dimensions of process, content, and context. This type of research is 4D research and development (Research & Development) through a descriptive approach. The development stages are Define, Design, Development, and Disseminate. Research during this pandemic was only carried out up to 3 stages of development. This research was validated by competent experts and teachers. Validation aspects include aspects of material feasibility, linguistic feasibility, and graphic feasibility. In terms of practicality, this media development uses 20 student responses and 1 teacher response. The use of tests in this study was only carried out to determine the cognitive improvement of students. Based on the validation results by 2 material experts, 2 media experts, and 2 graphic experts developing STEM-based digital comic media, the average score is 3.24, very feasible category with little input. The development of STEM-based digital comic media to improve student literacy skills in the dimensions of process, content, and context, it can be concluded that, for the three dimensional aspects, the average response is 97.85%, so that STEM-based digital comic media is categorized as very practical and the media is very feasible and practical. used for learning.

Abstract

The purpose of implementing this learning is to instill constitutional awareness and tolerance for fourth grade students at the Wirosari 1 State Elementary School in 2020/2021 by using the Lari Mesi media. The type of scientific innovation used is the best practice method by testing the effectiveness of the Lari Mesi multimedia by analyzing the increase in constitutional awareness after and during learning. There was an increase in constitutional awareness of learning outcomes and observations from before using the Lari Mesi media to after using it, from only 30% of students who completed it to 89.71% who completed it.

Abstract

Each student has different characteristics, so different services are needed in optimizing their potential and minimizing their limitations, one of which is the slow learner. Slow learners are not stupid children, they are only slow in learning because of the obstacles and limitations they have. Slow learner also has potential that can be developed, so that special services are needed in learning, for example with the help of media that is in accordance with the problem at hand. For this reason, the authors are interested in developing media that can facilitate slow learner students at SD Negeri Sen Asen 1. This media development uses the ADDIE model design, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The result of this development is in the form of MMB AR media based on Augmented reality which can be operated via a smartphone as an effort to facilitate the limitations of slow learner students in understanding whole number material. From the results of the validation, MBB AR media is very feasible to use and in its implementation, MBB AR media is very effective, because it can improve numeracy literacy in whole number material, can greatly improve digital literacy and is very good at increasing the character of self-confidence, discipline, and slow learner student cooperation.

Abstract

Learning during the Covid-19 pandemic did not allow face-to-face implementation. The Ministry of Education and Culture issued circular number 4 of 2020 concerning home learning (belajar dari rumah/ BDR). The limitations that teachers have in mastering information technology are an obstacle in implementing bdr. lack of mobile phone facilities (gadgets) is another problem in implementing bdr. This obstacle is the main problem in implementing religious extracurricular activities. This problem is overcome by the application of WhatsApp-based blended learning. with the involvement of colleagues, the mastery of information technology for learning is increasing. teachers are not tech-savvy. Finally, the implementation of bdr in the implementation of religious extracurricular activities can run well.

Abstract

Students with special needs at Tunjung 1 Public Elementary School have limited social interaction, verbal and emotional communication. Need to be trained in society to be given good opportunities, through special education services. Learning facilities that attract his attention need to be created, in order to help him socialize, play together without being disturbed, and can improve his academic achievement. For this reason, the writer created the "Wheel Tower". The goal is to empower students with special needs children with autism and improve academic achievement, especially in number patterns. These media are designed to be used jointly, and  individually. This media is in the form of stacked wheels that are arranged together, forming a flat shape (square, triangle, rectangle) from the large to the small one that resembles a tower. The shape of the tower shows a number pattern from small to large. From the learning process and results the use of "wheel towers" can empower students with special needs autistic children with regular children and can improve their academic achievement, especially in number patterns.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the empowerment of learning media google meet as one of the remote learning tools that can increase the motivation of students' learning during the covid-19 pandemic. This research is a descriptive quarative research. Data collection techniques are conducted with observations, interviews, and questionnaires on the use of Google Meet media. This research was conducted in grade V of SDN Minggiran I, Kediri Regency. Data analysis techniques are performed with Milles & Huberman interactive analysis. The results showed that the application of Google Meet media in distance learning activities during the covid-19 pandemic had a positive impact on students' learning motivation. This shows that Google Meet media provides benefits for teachers and students because of the teaching and learning process that can interact directly so as to make online learning more practical and effective. This direct interaction also increases the involvement and activeness of students during online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

The aims of using Hypnotist balls in 5M is to increase the students’ ordinal number reading competency and students’ activeness in the learning process. Hypnotist balls is a hypnoteaching communication medium implementation. While, 5M is a scientific approach that concists of observing, questioning, data collecting, associating, and communicating. This research uses classroom Action Research method which is designed by Stephen Kemmis dan Robyn Mc. Taggart that is acted in two cycles. Each cycle concists of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The result of the research shows that by using hypnotist balls, the students’ ordinal numbers reading increases 38,35%. The students’ learning activeness also increases 17.24%. Hypnotist balls in 5M helps the students’ learning process very much.

Abstract

Conventional learning makes students quickly bored and not interested in taking part in learning optimally. This can lead to low student activity and participation in learning. The problem is how the discovery learning model can activate students and improve their learning outcomes? The purpose of this study was to (1) increase learning activities in magnetic material through learning with the discovery learning model in class IXE students of SMP N 2 Pringapus in the 2019/2020 academic year; (2) increase learning outcomes in magnetic materials through discovery learning models in class IXE students of SMP N 2 Pringapus in the 2019/2020 academic year.The results showed that learning with the discovery learning model can increase student learning activities through participation in learning by 85.83%, an increase in learning activities by 40.83%, and can improve student learning outcomes in class IXE in the academic year of SMP N 2 Pringapus in 2019/2020. amounted to 24.59%.

Abstract

Learning at SD N 6 Getas in a pandemic condition is carried out online, but the activeness of students in learning is low which causes student learning outcomes to be low, so it is necessary to research the application of live worksheets in the flipped learning model to improve student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in student learning outcomes and to know the implementation of learning by applying a live worksheet to the flipped learning model. This research is a classroom action research with the subjects of this research are students in grade 5 SD N 6 Getas, Kec. Singorojo Kendal academic year 2020/2021. This research in the subject of action is mathematics material building space. The research instruments included teacher observation sheets, students, test questions, and documentation. The results of this study are the application of a live worksheet in the flipped learning model can improve student learning outcomes, this is evidenced by the increase in learning outcomes in cycle 1 and cycle 2. In cycle 1 achieved 75% classical completeness with an average of 75, and cycle 2 reached 84% with an average of 80.5. The conclusion of this study is that the application of a live worksheet in the flipped learning model can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The natural phenomenon of the sea about the wind that is still not taken up in science learning and learning media is needed. To understand the phenomenon, scientific literacy is needed, it is necessary for the creativity of the teacher. The aim is to improve students' scientific literacy skills and obtain teaching aids that can be used in local maritime and 21st-century culture-based learning. Learning activities are carried out using a project-based learning model combined with scientific literacy stages using a Bluetooth digital wind detection tool. learning media is developed and validated by experts, learning stages are developed according to needs, scientific literacy skills are obtained based on observations of scientific literacy skills, interviews, response questionnaires, and product assessments at 80 to 100%, are in the good and very good categories. It is concluded that this learning innovation can improve students' scientific literacy skills, and produce teaching aids that utilize local culture based technology according to the demands of the 21st century learning that can be used in science learning in everyday life to help the community.
