Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve students' dancing skills using ART TRACE media with TIK devices. This work of learning innovation was developed on the basis of the lack of dance skills of grade VI students and the lack of skilled teachers in learning related to the practice of dancing, the cause because the teacher does not have the background and expertise in dancing. The model used in this study is design and development (D&d) whose feasibility of learning media has been validated by material experts and media experts who are competent in their field. From the results of media validation and material validation that has been done obtained percentage from material experts by 89% and media experts by 94%. From the validation results, experts agreed that this innovation work is in the category of Excellent so that this innovation work can be said to be worth using in learning. In learning activities, his dancing skills improved nicely, this is evidenced by the learning results obtained by students. Where before using this innovation work was below KKM, with the average score of dance skills of 65.95 increased to 80.94.

Abstract

The result of the initial thoughts on fourth-grade students of SDN 2 Girimoyo showed that literacy and learning of students can be improved through learning that integrates the Amazing Topeng Malang Media based on Local Wisdom as a source of learning. The objective of this study was to improve the literacy skills and creative thinking skills of students in learning by using the Amazing Topeng Malang Media. The research method used in Classroom action Research consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The result showed an increase in the average literacy skill of students = 69.00 with sufficient category in the first cycle was improve to  = 82.00 with a good category in the second cycle. The average creative thinking skills of the students were improved to = 72.00 with sufficient category in the first cycle, and their creative thinking skills were improved to = 84.00 in the second cycle with the good category.

Abstract

The research objective is to improve the students’ conceptual understanding of static electricity through the PBL model with external representation capabilities of class IXC in SMPN 1 Peling Tengah. This research is designed in classroom action research. The research steps consisted of planning,  implementation of actions,  observation, and reflection, conducted in two cycles. The results show that the students’ conceptual understanding is improved through PBL models with external representation abilities. The improvement could be seen from the teacher’s and students’ activity in the first cycle improved to 68% with a good category. While the students’ learning activities are improved in the first cycle to 62% include with a sufficient category. The teacher’s activity in the second cycle was improved to 95.9% with an excellent category. Whereas, the students’ activity in the second cycle was improved to 90% with a good category. The students’ learning outcomes improved to 82.6% in the first cycle and to 87.3 % in the second cycle. The students were able to express a problem with an ability to represent externally in the forms of images, graphics, verbal, tables, and mathematics, although they were still directed by the teacher

Abstract

The background of this scientific writing is based on the low awareness of environmental conditions (eco-literacy) of the students, the limitations of local media and sources of learning, natural disasters, the use of ICT for negative things, and the urgency of mastering 21st-century skills. The research objectives through these Best Practices that: the students are expected to be able to make special-purpose maps and have environmental awareness (eco-literacy), able to formulate environmental problems and solutions to overcome these problems and the students have 21st-century skills. This scientific paper is in the form of Best Practice, which refers to Export Facto research because it has done by the author and obtained several results, namely: first, students are able to make a special map regarding the distribution of oil palm plantation and tin mining in the East Belitung Regency by utilizing digital map technology (google maps). Second, the students have eco-literacy. Third, the students are able to formulate solutions that can be done to deal with environmental problems in their area. Fourth, the students are trained to have 21st-century skills.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to improve the activeness and success in learning to read and write Javanese letters in class VII SMP Negeri 4 Wates. This research is action research. The research is done in two cycles with the stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subject of the research is class VIIA students of SMP Negeri 4 Wates, 32 students. The data collection technique uses observation, daily notes, and reading and writing Javanese letters skill test. The research instruments are observation sheets, daily notes, and the assessment of reading and writing Javanese letters skill. The data analysis for the learning process uses descriptive qualitative analysis, while the learning success is analyzed with descriptive-quantitative analysis. The result of the research shows that the learning media Si Didol can improve the activeness reading and writing Javanese letters skill of class VIIA  students in SMP Negeri 4 Wates. The result of the observation and field notes show that there is an improvement in students learning activeness. The result of the reading and writing Javanese letters skill assessment also shows improvement, 81% in cycle 1 becomes 94% in cycle 2.

Abstract

Mathematics in the unit of measurement material. One effort to overcome this error is by applying cooperative learning to make a match techniques. The selection of cooperative learning models is based on the learning interactions that arise. Through cooperative learning, a student will become a learning resource for other friends. So the purpose of this study was to improve the activity and learning outcomes of mathematics through cooperative learning with make a match technique in class VI SD Negeri 49 Kendari. This study uses a class action research design, carried out in a spiral form, consisting of four main activities namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection carried out in 3 cycles. Data analysis techniques in this study are descriptive qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. This study used to test and non-test instruments, which were collected using learning outcomes test questions, observation sheets, and documentation of learning activities. The results of data analysis show that cooperative learning with make a match technique can increase the activity and learning outcomes of class VI students at SD Negeri 49 Kendari.

Abstract

The research objective is to know students’ ability in writing discussion text of class VIII H SMP Negeri 1 Rejang Lebong by applying debate in cooperative learning. This is a classroom action research with two cycles. Every cycle consists of planning, doing, observing, and reflecting. The data was collected through writing tests and observation on teacher and students' activities while teaching and learning occurred. The result of this research shows that there is a significant increase in students’ ability in writing discussion texts through debate. It can be seen from the average score of cycle 1 is 68,59 with the sufficient category and the classical achievement is 45,71%. It increases in cycle II 77,74 with good category and the classical achievement is 82,35%. In addition, using this model can also increase students' and teacher activities in looking for ideas in writing discussion text.

Abstract

Living in the 21st century, almost all activities cannot be detached from digital technology. Most elementary school children are actively using digital technology, including the 5th graders of SD Muhammadiyah Sapen who 88% own smartphones. They use them for social media and entertainment. They are more interested in playing smartphones than studying. They also think the learning materials in the fifth grade are difficult. Even, some children’s learning outcomes are low in the fifth grade. If this situation is permitted, their learning effectiveness will be lowered. Therefore, this best practice is intended to improve the children’s learning effectiveness in fifth grade. The teacher must be able to create appropriate and millennial learning media for them or to become a Youtuber teacher. A Youtuber teacher is a teacher who is able to create and upload learning videos on YouTube. Video creation used laptops and smartphones equipped with PowerPoint applications, factory formats, and viva video. Afterward, the videos are uploaded to the Estin Farida Channel through Youtube. Video links are shared via social media and interactive books or modules. The creation of learning videos uploaded through youtube could improve the children’s learning effectiveness in SD Muhammadiyah Sapen. This can be noticed from the improvements of the learning quality, motivation, learning activities, readiness to receive the lessons, space and time flexibility to stud, and their learning outcomes. Another effect is creativity enhancement and digital literacy. In addition, the videos uploaded on Youtube could be used by almost everyone in SD Muhammadiyah Sapen.

Abstract

The current research’s objectives are to improve the students’ learning creativity and achievement. This research was designed using Classroom Action Research through the implementation of 5E based on STEAM. The research subjects included 32  of the eighth-graders in  SMP Negeri 1 Subang, West Java Province. The students’ creativity was assessed through air balloon creative product and water rocket using Creative Product Semantic Scale (CPSS). Learning achievements were evaluated on Engage phases in Cycle I and II.  Data analysis results show that the students’ learning creativity was improved and science concepts strengthened through self-construction.  The students’ creative inquiry was also improved. The initial mean achievement was equal to 37.67 in phase Engage of Cycle I was increased to 68.41. In-Engage of Cycle II, the students’ achievement was improved from 35.22 to 79.44.

Abstract

This best practice is a report on the author's experience in applying the PjBL-STEAM learning model by using the Camtasia video media to improve learning literacy in Indonesian V grade SDN. 120 Berru. The background of this best practice is that the teacher does not involve the role of student activities, the students' learning outcomes are not optimal, especially in the field of literacy, the teacher does not use learning media, the teacher does not motivate and interact with students to produce products from learning outcomes. This best practice research is focused on improving literacy through PjBL-STEM with classroom action research methods consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. An instrument for data collection. includes student activity observation sheets, learning outcomes tests, interviews, and documentation. The results of this best practice report are taken data after 2 cycles of classroom action research. The results of the qualitative analysis show that the average score of activities and student learning outcomes has increased. Learning activities in the first cycle of the average score of Indonesian learning activities are 60% in the fairly good category and in the second cycle, there is an increase in the average score of Indonesian learning activities, which is 84% ​​in the good category. The learning results in the first cycle showed an average score of 63 learning activities in a fairly good category and in the second cycle, there was an increase of 77 in the good category. Based on the results of this study, it was concluded that applying the PjBL-STEAM learning model using video Camtasia media can improve learning literacy.
