Abstract

The problem to be solved in this research is how to increase the learning motivation of students who are decreasing in online learning in Sciences subjects. This study aims to describe the implementation of online learning using the practical method and to find out the extent to which this method can increase students' learning motivation. The research method used classroom action research type experiment with the Kemmis-Taggart model in two cycles. Practicum in online learning is carried out at the home of each student using tools and materials at home and in the surrounding environment without leaving the learning objectives in basic competencies. Practical guides, student worksheets, and student responses to learning methods were made using Google Form. Activities and work results in the form of answers to conceptual questions and photos or videos of experimental activities are monitored with a Google Spreadsheet linked to the Google Form. Online learning with the practicum method has been able to increase the learning motivation of students with an indicator of an increase in the number of students who take part in the online learning  from 30% to 50%, and an increase in mastery of the concept of subject matter with an increase in the average value of learning outcomes from 37.2 to 74.38 in cycle I and 80.67 in cycle II.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Two Stay Two Stray  terhadap hasil belajar matematika materi bangun ruang siswa kelas II SD 1 Barongan Kabupaten Kudus. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi-experimental dengan bentuk nonequalivalent control group design. Sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu dengan menggunakan sampling jenuh karena jumlah populasi relatif sedikit. Hasil analisis   n-gain menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran konvensional pada kelas kontrol memperoleh 0,29 dengan kriteria kurang sedangkan kelas eksperimen dengan penerapan model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray  mendapatkan 0,39 dengan kriteria sedang. Hasil Uji t menunjukkan nilai thitung = 2,104 sedangkan ttabel = 2,001 atau  thitung > ttabel dan signifikansinya sebesar 0,040 sehingga H0 ditolak. Uji regresi linear model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray  terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa materi bangun ruang sebesar 89,3%. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar materi bangun ruang antara siswa pada kelas kontrol tanpa penerapan model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray  dan kelas eksperimen dengan penerapan model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray, (2) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan hasil belajar materi bangun ruang pada kelas eksperimen dengan penerapan model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray.

Abstract

Obtaining alternative energy without ignoring non-renewable energy is a vital problem that demands immediate solutions. Judging from the function of learning media, Microcombinemagnetic media has performed its function in facilitating students' understanding to absorb the essence of learning related to the use of alternative energy without fossil materials. The purpose of using Microcombinemagnetics is to improve students' understanding of the PLMTH concept and make it easier for teachers to convey the PLMTH concept and material related to the PLMTH concept. This study method refers to best practices written based on the best experiences in solving a problem in the classroom. The results achieved through Microcombinemagnetic simulations include: (1) the social, cultural, and economic diversity of society, the class average of 88; (2) in the explanatory / scientific explanation text material, the mean score of grade VI A students is 6 points above the KKM; (3) in the material on how to produce, distribute, and save electrical energy, the average score of the students is 81; and (4) on the material on Indonesia's role in cooperation in various fields within the scope of ASEAN, the average student score reached 82.The conclusion obtained from this study is that Microcombinemagnetic simulation on learning the theme of globalization, the sub-theme of globalization around me, produces an average range. between 76 and 88.

Abstract

Based on the results of learning observations conducted at Bareng 05 Public Elementary School, Malang City, it was found that the learning outcomes and student activity during science content learning were still not optimal. An alternative solution to this problem is the application of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model using comics in the form of e-books. This study uses a classroom action research model from Kemmis & Mc Taggart. Each research cycle consists of planning, acting & observing, reflecting, and revising plan stages. Each cycle carried out two learning activities. The results showed that the application of the Problem-Based Learning model assisted by comic-based e-books could increase the activities and learning outcomes of science content for fourth graders of Bareng Public Elementary School 05. Based on the results of this study, it was suggested that further researchers develop and research e-books as media Learning is made according to the material to be taught.

Abstract

The success of distance learning (PJJ) in mathematics requires teachers to be able to activate students in learning. This study was conducted to determine the increase in student activity in PJJ through using reflection sheets and emoji symbols in mathematics subjects through LKPD with Leksimo. This research is classroom action research, consisting of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection stages in two cycles using LKPD with Leksimo. Research data were collected through observation and reflection sheets at the end of each cycle and then analyzed by qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results showed that the use of LKPD with Leksimo could activate students in the PJJ from the moderately active category with a percentage of 33.33% in the first cycle increasing to 58.33% with the active category in the second cycle. The emotional condition of students is very good in understanding and enthusiastic about doing assignments from 35.48% in the first cycle to 54.84% in the second cycle. Students who found obstacles or there was confusion in understanding assignments decreased from 25.81% to 6.45%, which means that teachers can help students overcome obstacles to actively participate in learning with the emoji column on the LKPD. The increase in student activity was also marked by filling out the reflection sheet which showed an increase in parental control and supervision from 29% in cycle I to 71% in cycle II.

Abstract

Laga Printer is a learning media which covers laptop, gadget, and printer as a solution for students’ learning difficulties in working on mathematic problems on types and characteristics of rectangular.  The aim of using Laga Printer is to improve students’ learning efficacyat class VII K SMP Negeri 5 Kendari on types and characteristics of rectangular. The use of Laga Printer in the learning process was designed in the form of classroom action research method which was carried out in two meetings. Instruments of this study covers achievement test and questionnaires. This study showed that from 30 students assigned to the test,26 students (86.66%) achieved mastery learning with scores ≥ 73. On skill aspect, 19 students (63.33%) had very good category and 7 students (23.33%) had good category. Students’ questionnaires analysis pointed out that 25 students (83.33%) were very satisfied and 3 students (10.00%) were satisfied with Laga Printer. The practical value of 78 showed that Laga Printer is a practical learning media. Thus, this study concludes that the use of Laga Printer as a learning media can make students learn better and improve their learning efficacyat class VII K SMP Negeri 5 Kendari.

Abstract

The low motivation of students in increasing scientific literacy is evidenced by the low learning outcomes of grade VI students. This study aims to develop STEM-based digital comic media to improve students' scientific literacy skills, especially the dimensions of process, content, and context. This type of research is 4D research and development (Research & Development) through a descriptive approach. The development stages are Define, Design, Development, and Disseminate. Research during this pandemic was only carried out up to 3 stages of development. This research was validated by competent experts and teachers. Validation aspects include aspects of material feasibility, linguistic feasibility, and graphic feasibility. In terms of practicality, this media development uses 20 student responses and 1 teacher response. The use of tests in this study was only carried out to determine the cognitive improvement of students. Based on the validation results by 2 material experts, 2 media experts, and 2 graphic experts developing STEM-based digital comic media, the average score is 3.24, very feasible category with little input. The development of STEM-based digital comic media to improve student literacy skills in the dimensions of process, content, and context, it can be concluded that, for the three dimensional aspects, the average response is 97.85%, so that STEM-based digital comic media is categorized as very practical and the media is very feasible and practical. used for learning.

Abstract

Mind mapping based learning is learning to use keyword, terms, images/symbols, describing the integrity of a material. This learning can encourage students to develop thinking technique in all directions, remembering, taking notes, increasing motivation and being able to deduce the results well. The ability of students to think critically and creatively, communicate and collaborate are abilities  that  must be developed from an early age to enter global competition. This paper aims to describe the science based on mind mapping in developing critical thinking, creative, communicative, and collaborative skills; as well as knowing the development of critical thinking, creative, communicative, and collaborative skills through mind mapping science learning. The form of research is classroom action research carried in 2 cycles using non-test instrument namely observation and interview sheets. The data obtained were processed descriptively using percentage analysis. Based on the results of data analysis, mind mapping based learning can arouse motivation and interest in learning, communicating and collaborating, more constructing knowledge, learning easier. Mind mapping based science learning can develop critical and creative thinking skills respectively by 35%, communicative 40%, and collaborative by 35%.

Abstract

The purpose of implementing this learning is to instill constitutional awareness and tolerance for fourth grade students at the Wirosari 1 State Elementary School in 2020/2021 by using the Lari Mesi media. The type of scientific innovation used is the best practice method by testing the effectiveness of the Lari Mesi multimedia by analyzing the increase in constitutional awareness after and during learning. There was an increase in constitutional awareness of learning outcomes and observations from before using the Lari Mesi media to after using it, from only 30% of students who completed it to 89.71% who completed it.

Abstract

Each student has different characteristics, so different services are needed in optimizing their potential and minimizing their limitations, one of which is the slow learner. Slow learners are not stupid children, they are only slow in learning because of the obstacles and limitations they have. Slow learner also has potential that can be developed, so that special services are needed in learning, for example with the help of media that is in accordance with the problem at hand. For this reason, the authors are interested in developing media that can facilitate slow learner students at SD Negeri Sen Asen 1. This media development uses the ADDIE model design, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The result of this development is in the form of MMB AR media based on Augmented reality which can be operated via a smartphone as an effort to facilitate the limitations of slow learner students in understanding whole number material. From the results of the validation, MBB AR media is very feasible to use and in its implementation, MBB AR media is very effective, because it can improve numeracy literacy in whole number material, can greatly improve digital literacy and is very good at increasing the character of self-confidence, discipline, and slow learner student cooperation.
