This journal also provides opportunities for researchers and scholars from various disciplines of science who have new views and ideas to share with other academics, especially in matters that focus on tourism, culture and economic studies. Abstract

Banyu Tibo Beach is one of the beaches in Pacitan Regency. This beach has uniqueness of a waterfall overlooking the beach. This research aims to find out the right management strategy for Banyu Tibo Beach to be ecotourism. This research method used  a descriptive qualitative analysis method. Data collection techniques were carried out by distributing questionnaires with non-probability sampling techniques to 100 respondents in Banyu Tibo Beach by taking using incidental sampling techniques. The data obtained is then processed using SWOT analysis to determine the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats that exist in Banyu Tibo Beach. From the data processing, obtained the right strategies to manage the Banyu Tibo Beach in ecotourism, namely by providing or adding infrastructure to support ecotourismbased tourism activities, making or adding environmentally friendly tourism products, conducting training on ecotourism for human resources managing Banyu Tibo Beach, in collaboration with all parties to play an active role in the implementation of sustainable tourism activities.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the existence of the Geographical Indications of Salak Pondoh farmers in the Pondoh Sleman Salak Farmer Community. This community functions as a protection agency, quality improvement, and marketing of Sleman Pondoh Salak, then with the protection of Geographical indications on products from the presence of potential geographical indications can guarantee legal certainty over the products. Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) are very important issues both nationally and internationally. Pondoh Sleman Salak as an agricultural product that has distinctiveness and high quality which is developed with a communalistic system which is shown by the management of Sleman Pondoh Zalacca through Sleman Pondoh Salak Farmer Association and the Turindo Partners Association. This is the incarnation of a combination of village farmer groups (gapoktandesa) in Sleman. Then, the combination of the village farmer groups is the incarnation of the village farmer group (Poktan-dusun) which is spread in the Sleman region. In this study the method used was non random sampling to select sample subjects from the population, namely all parties related to geographical indications on pondoh salak in Sleman Regency. The data used in this study are primary and secondary data. Primary data is obtained directly through interviews with respondents. Secondary data is obtained from the study of literature on legal materials. This research is expected to contribute ideas for improving and developing legal science in the field of Geographical Indications, and can provide a more advanced thinking insight for the government and businessmen of pondoh salak in Sleman Regency to get a way out and legal certainty of violations in the field Intellectual Property Rights and Geographical Indications.Keywords: Communalistic Culture, Intellectual Property Rights Geographical Indication of Sleman Pondoh Salak, Legal Certainty

Abstract

The most popular technological and communication development innovations today are electronic payments without cash. GOPAY from PT Karya Anak Bangsa (GO-JEK) is the most widely used electronic payment in Indonesia. Yu Cha Indonesia is working with GOPAY to advance its business. There is currently a 20% GOPAY cashback promotion to attract more consumers. This study aims to look at the effect of the promotion of GOPAY (cashback) on the interest in buying bubble drinks at Yu Cha Indonesia. This research uses quantitative methods by distributing questionnaires to 99 respondents. Statistical analysis such as validation test, reliability test, normality test, and hypothesis test have been used. Data validation shows that all data is valid. Reliability tests are also reliable because the coefficient scores exceed Cronbach Alpha. The results of the r-score analysis are 0.707 which means that the two variables have a strong relationship. The r-square result is 0.499 and it can be concluded that the GOPAY cashback promotion affects product quality by 49.9% and the rest is influenced by other factors not discussed in this study. The results of this study show the positive and significant effect of the GOPAY (cashback) promotion program on consumer buying interest. Based on research results, the GOPAY promotion program (cashback) has a 49.9% effect on consumer buying interest.

Abstract

Food and beverage service department plays an important role in the hotel’s operational and income’s continuity. In food and beverage service department, restaurant is a center place for arrival of the guests, therefore a waiter or waitres should have an attitude and good service to treat and welcome them. Amanjiwo is ones of a luxurious resort which gives a memorial and prestige service for everyone who comes to Amanjiwo. Because Amanjiwo is private resort and hotels, so they apply minimum spend for non staying or non resident guests to make sure the guests privacy and to keep the luxurious of the hotel. Therefore Amanjiwo apply a minimum charge policy for all outside guests whowould like to enjoy the hotel facilities. The reason why they applied because to many outside guests who come to Amanjiwo just walking around and taking a pictures, someof them make a noise and seated everywhere without spend to buy a meals or beverage. This researched is using descriptive qualitative method by interviewing and observation to several employees about minimum charge at restaurant by seeing how to the service to all the outside guests and its impact to Amanjiwo. With the minimum charge policy applied, it was running smoothly. The hotels can maintained and keep the in house guests privacy. Abstract

Pampang Ecotourism Village is one of the Ecotourism villages located in Gunungkidul. This ecotourism village was established in 2017 with 1,440 tourists. Many packages are offered in this ecotourism village, one of which is herbal medicine. In the development of Pampang Ecotourism Village, there are many obstacles faced by management, including the development of herbal medicine. This community service activity aims to assist in strengthening herbal medicinal products as one of Pampang's tourist attractions. The steps that will be taken in overcoming the problems of managers are divided into three fields, namely marketing, tourism, and the handicraft industry. The results of this community service activity have been held counseling about strengthening herbal products, where residents can sell several types of herbal medicine to increase the attraction in Pampang. In addition, providing counseling to residents to cultivate herbal plants in order to add types and quantities of herbal plants. Provide counseling on herbal tour packages in making tourist brochures.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Cognitive, Affective, and Conative attitudes of the communities around the tourist sites of Parangtritis beach in Yogyakarta to visit foreign tourists. Parangtritis is one of the most famous tourist attractions in the province of Yogyakarta Special Region is a tourist destination that is most frequently visited by foreign tourists. The attraction of Parangtritis beach is the charm of Parangtritis beach in the evening at sunset which is often used as a moment for tourists, the temple on the hill located on the east of the beach, interesting attractions of All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) and kite festivals at other tourist locations located around Parangtritis beach. Research data was collected from the community using a questionnaire. From the results of the study showed that the regression coefficient on Cognitive variables (X1) is 0.016 positive so that it can be said that Cognitive variables (X1) have a positive effect on the attitude of the community. While the Affective variable (X2) is -0.252 which is negative, which means it has a negative effect on the attitude of the community. Likewise with the Conative variable (X3) of 0.055 positive value also has a positive effect on the attitude of society.Keywords: Parangtritis, Cognitive, Affective, Conative, Community Attitudes

Abstract

The increasing growth of culinary service providers in Bandung has made competition in the culinary world even tighter. Service and product quality is the stake of every service provider to remain competitive in this industry. This study aims to find out, how are the form of service quality received by customers in the catering industry, the form of quality improvement efforts, and the form of handling customer complaints. This research was conducted in Alinea Catering, using qualitative descriptive methods. From the results of this study, it was found that basically the quality of services provided was still not good, with the determination of service standards that were deemed not optimal. This is because the standard setting has not been done in writing in a standard operating procedure. So this has an impact on the implementation of service quality and handling of complaints that cannot be measured with certainty. However, efforts to improve service quality have been well illustrated, by increasing employee education standards, increasing wages, and updating work uniforms regularly.

Abstract

Prambanan Temple also known as Roro Jonggrang Temple is the biggest Hinduism temple in Indonesia. It was built in the 9th century AD. This tourism destination has become one of the most popular tourism destinations with high number visitor visits whether local or foreign. With its large site coverage, visitor management analyzes are needed as one of the most important factors to maximize the visitor number and to minimize the negative impact that can be occurred. The purpose of this research is to determine some indicators of visitor management that affects the visitor satisfaction valuation. The research method is by using importance performance analysis. The valuation result will become the basis of the Prambanan temple sustainable development plan in the future. So that, the satisfaction and memorable value of the visitor would be improved as well as the number of the visitor, and also it can educate the visitor about the heritage conservation value at the same time.   Keywords: visitor management, Prambanan temple, maximize the visitor, minimize negative impact.

Abstract

This study aims to find out supporting activities that arise with the use of the ancient Nglanggeran volcano landscape in the Nglanggeran Village. Nglanggeran tourism village in Yogyakarta has a variety of supporting tourism potential attractions that arises due to the construction of an artificial pond or reservoir. This reservoir is the main capital for the local community to create supporting attractions which are a major complement to the ancient volcanic landscape of Nglanggeran. The emergence of these supporting attractions subsequently becomes a source of profit for the community and especially tourism activities in the region.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how much influence motivation and work discipline on employee performance on CV. Indobatu Makmur Palembang. The variables in this study consisted of independent variables Motivation (X1) and work discipline (X2), and Performance dependent variables (Y). The sample in this study was obtained by survey research. To obtain and collect information from respondents using a questionnaire (structured questionnaire) that is structured according to needs. The method of data analysis uses descriptive statistical analysis. The individual characteristics of the respondents included gender, age, education level and work period. Statistical analysis uses inferential statistics using multiple regression models. To find out the relationship between variables used a correlation coefficient, while to find out the effect used a partial test (t test) and a simultaneous test (F test). From the results of the descriptive statistical analysis on the characteristics of the respondents obtained the percentage of sex: male (93%) and female (7%), percentage of age: less then 31 years (46%), 31 to 35 years (33%), 36 to 40 years (13%), 41 to 45 years (8%). Percentage of education level: High School (88%), D3 (8%), S1 (4%). Percentage of service: 6 to 7 years (14%), 3-5 years (20%), less then 2 (66%). From the results of the regression analysis, Y increased by 0.397 for each additional per unit variable X1, and Y increased by 0.089 for each addition per unit of variable X2. The effect of variables X1, X2 on Y on the partial test (t test) is on the variable X1 t count = 0.001  less then α = 0.05 then there is an influence between motivation on performance. At X2 t count = 0.504 less then α = 0.05 then there is a significant effect of motivation and work discipline variables on performance.
