Abstract

Background: One of the most common factors that cause head injuries is traffic accidents. Minor head injury is a nervous system disorder caused by a violent blow or jolt to the head or body. As a result of this accident an individual can lose consciousness which is characterized by headaches and pain. Pain is a physiological problem. Interventions that can be used in overcoming pain are by providing slow deep breathing non pharmacological therapy. Purpose: This study was to obtain an overview of slow deep breathing therapy in patients with mild head injuries and reduce pain intensity. Methods: The writing used is descriptive method in the form of case studies through the nursing process approach which includes assessment, nursing diagnoses, planning, implementation and evaluation. The study was conducted at the BLUD RSU Banjar City on 27-31 May 2022. The participants in this study were the patient Mrs. S is 36 years old. Complains of pain in the back of the head. The process of assessing and establishing a diagnosis is focused on the main problem. Subjective and objective data become a reference for evaluation of nursing implementation on a regular basis. Result: Based on the assessment of the pain scale, it was found that the original scale decreased from 4 (1-10) to 1 (1-10). Using the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) measurning instrument. Conclusion: The author found the effect after giving slow deep breathing intervention on reducing pain intensity in patients with mild head injury and getting effective results, as evidenced by a decrease in the intensity of the pain scale. From the case study, slow deep breathing intervention can be an alternative intervention for mild head injury patients so that complications from the disease do not occur.

Abstract

Helminthiasis is still a problem in Indonesia, and worm infections often occur without symptoms, so the disease receives less attention. Identification can be done by several methods, one of which is by direct examination using 2% eosin dye. However, 2% eosin dye is included in synthetic dyes that can harm ul to health. The alternative used is to utilize natural ingredients. Red dragon fruit Hylocereus lemairei is a natural material that contains anthocyanin substances where in an acidic atmosphere anthocyanin substances provide a red colour so that it can be used as an alternative dye to replace eosin. The aim of this study was to determine the microscopic picture of worm egg preparations using alternative dyes of red dragon fruit peel extract. The research method used is an experimental method. The results showed that the red dragon fruit peel extract dye with a concentration variation of 2%, 5%, and 10% did not colour the worm eggs. So the red dragon fruit peel extract dye is still not optimal for use as an alternative dye for coloring worm eggs.

Abstract

Preeclampsia is an increase in blood pressure which is usually one of the complications experienced by pregnant women, the accumulation of fluid in one of the tissues, hydrotherapy action is very suitable for use because it is more practical so that it can be done independently and does not have dangerous side effects, The purpose in this study is to be able to carry out nursing care comprehensively with pain clients with hydrotherapy soak using warm water The method of research is descriptive case study method, by managing one client using the nursing process approach. The resultse in the study The implementatin of the implementation was carried out for 3 days, with the provision of hydrotherapy soaking the feet using warm water very effectively given to clients with preeclampsia and complaining of pain The conclusion is that hydrotherapy using warm water is very effective given to pregnant women so that it can reduce the pain felt.

Abstract

Purple sweet potato (Ipomea batatas L) is a type of tuber that has many benefits in the food and health .he purple color in sweet potatoes is caused by the presence of anthocyanin purple pigments that spread from the skin to the tuber flesh. The content of sweet potato anthocyanins depends on the intensity of the color of the tubers. The purple the color of the tubers, the higher the anthocyanin content. Anthocyanins have various health benefits, namely as antioxidants, anti diabetic and other benefits, namely as natural dyes.This study aims to determine the levels of anthocyanins in purple sweet potato extract by using Differential pH method. From the research results, it can be concluded that the anthocyanin content of purple sweet potato (Ipomea Batatas L) is 4.26 mg/liter.

Abstract

GERD is a condition that often manifests as increased stomach acid, causing the mouth to become sour and bitter and burning or burning in the chest and solar plexus. This condition results in a psychological situation that ranges from anxiety to depression and is accompanied by physical symptoms such as shortness of breath, cold sweats, and if not treated will cause the patient's condition to get worse. Purpose: This study aims to describe the recovery of GERD in the Working Area of the Ciamis Health Center. Methods: This research was conducted using a survey method. This research was conducted by directly observing the research object and filling out the provided questionnaires. The population in this study were the people in the working area of the Ciamis Health Center who had a history of GERD, there were 57 respondents. Sampling was carried out using a total sampling technique, namely making the entire population as a research sample with a total of 57 people. Results: Out of 39 people who recovered from GERD, 25 people did not have GERD symptoms. Conclusion: Most of the people in the working area of the Ciamis Health Center recover from GERD.

Abstract

Nurses have the authority to open an independent nursing practice as one of the health services Nursepreneur is a business built based on the field of nursing the high number of nurses and the lack of independent nursing practice land into a phenomenon why nurses do not build a business in the field of nursing. Descriptive qualitative research method, sampling technique used purposive sampling and snowball sampling, with the number of informants three nurses who open nursing independent practice instrument used semi-structured interviews with data validity triangulation method and data analysis obtained five main themes. The results showed that the type of nursing independent practice established was wound care practice with a group wound care practice model, the strategic stage of establishing nursing independent practice by analyzing patient characteristics and analyzing the work environment and the regional environment, the obstacles are in the licensing flow in opening a nursing independent practice land that has not been structured and takes a long time and opportunities in mendiri nursing independent practice by branding between health agencies and through social media. Suggestions in this study need to develop quality standards for services to establish independent nursing practices and increase the involvement of professional organizations in fostering nurses who want to open independent nursing practices.

Abstract

Masalah angka kematian ibu (AKI) di Indonesia tidak kunjung terselesaikan, sehingga menjadi “pekerjaan rumah” di era Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) sekarang ini. Masih tingginya AKI menunjukkan bahwa kinerja bidan di desamasih belum optimal. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis perbandingan pengetahuan, keterampilan, sikap, motivasi dan sarana prasarana bidan desa yang ada dan tidak ada kematian ibu di Kabupaten Sumedang Tahun 2016.Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi case control. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan adalah 30 orang, 10 bidan desa yang ada kematian ibu dan 20 orang bidan desa yang tidak ada kematian ibu. Analisis data dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara variabel bebas dan terikat. Analisis bivariabel dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji-t.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengetahuan pada kelompok yang ada kematian lebih banyak kategori kurang 6 orang, keterampilan kurang baik 6, sarana prasarana tidak lengkap 5, sikap positif 6, motivasi kurang baik 6, sedangkan pada kelompok kontrol pengetahuan baik 13, keterampilan baik 17, sarana prasarana lengkap 18, sikap positif 13, motivasi baik 16. Adanya perbedaan pengetahuan bidan desa yang ada dan tidak ada kematian dengan nilai p=0,009, ada perbedaan keterampilan bidan desa yang ada dan tidak ada kematian dengan nilai p=0,010, tidak ada perbedaan sikap bidan desa yang ada dan tidak ada kematian dengan nilai p=0,797, ada perbedaan motivasi bidan desa yang ada dan tidak ada kematian dengan nilai p=0,029, ada perbedaan sarana prasarana bidan desa yang ada dan tidak ada kematian dengan nilai p=0,014.Kesimpulan terdapat perbedaan pengetahuan, keterampilan, motivasi dan sarana prasarana bidan desa yang ada dan tidak ada kematian di Kab. Sumedang. Penulis menyarankan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilanbidan desa secara merata perlu adanya pelatihan yang menunjang kinerja bidan desa, seperti : pelatihan APN, pelatihan MTBS, Pelatihan Buku KIA dan Pelatihan PWS KIA, serta memberi rewards bagi bidan desa yang berprestasi.

Abstract

The problem that arises when a student faces a thesis for no apparent reason is that some students feel anxious because they think that a thesis is something difficult to do. Sometimes this feeling of anxiety arises before the student tries to work on each stage of the thesis preparation. Anxiety affects student learning outcomes, because anxiety tends to produce confusion and distortion of perception. The method in this study is descriptive, which is research conducted to determine the value of independent variables, either one or more variables (independent) without making comparisons, or connecting with other variables. The population in this study were all final year students in the Nursing Science Study Program of STIKes Muhammadiyah Ciamis as many as 62 people. Sampling in this study used a total sampling technique, namely the entire population was used as a research sample. The results showed that the anxiety level of students in facing the final project was mostly anxious as many as 26 people (41.9%), and the perception of the final project in the Nursing Study Program of STIKes Muhammadiyah Ciamis was mostly positive as many as 34 people (54.9%). Most of them were positive, namely 34 people (54.8%).

Abstract

Background : Breast milk is the best food that meets all baby's growth and development needs until the age of 6 months. There are times when a mother experiences problems in breastfeeding which is because her milk production is little or not smooth. Oxytocin massage is one solution to overcome the not smooth production of breast milk. Research Purpose : To determine the difference in breast milk expenditure postpartum mothers 6 hours before and after oxytocin massage in Puskesmas Batujajar District West Bandung In 2019. Research Method : This research uses the method Quasi-experiment by design one group pre and post test design. The sampling technique uses accidental sampling, the sample in this study was 6 hours postpartum mothers amounted to 30 people. Data collection uses observation sheets. Data analysis was univariate and bivariate to see the frequency distribution and differences in breast milk expenditure before and after oxytocin massage. Results : Average breast milk expenditure before oxytocin massage was 1.50 cc and after the oxytocin massage increased to 2.93 cc. Conclusion : there is a difference between the expenditure of breast milk in postpartum mothers 6 hours before and after oxytocin massage. Keywords : Oxytocin massage, expenditures breast milk

Abstract

With advances in technology and information, Muslims should be able to carry out renewals in conducting studies on hadiths regarding and related to health, especially during the pandemic, namely covid-19. And one of the treatments contained in the hadith that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said is Black Seed which has a lot of content which is useful for increasing immunity.
