Abstract

Sidoluhur Village, Lawang District, Malang Regency has the majority of the population working as farm labourers. With a population of 6,182 people consisting of around 1,978 heads of households, this village has problems with administrative activities and public services. The purpose of this activity is to increase the competence of village officials in providing digital-based administrative services. The method used is Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA). The result obtained from this activity is that there is an application ‘SI LUHUR’ to support public services. Village apparatus and the community are able to carry out and access digital-based public services. In addition, this activity also increases the solidity and synergy of village apparatus in managing public services.

Abstract

Amplang MSME have difficulty promoting their products and need an alternative sales system as a promotional medium. As a solution, the service team developed a web-based application 'eAmplang'. Activities carried out by the process of designing applications, testing and publication through domains and hosting with the site https://amplang.eminat.store, as well as socialization of applications to MSME Sinar Terang and Nazwa. This application is very useful for expanding product marketing and product introduction to the public and supporting the sustainability of MSME businesses in digital competition.

Abstract

The waste bank of Politeknik Negeri Samarinda has problems recording transactions, both discrepancies, writing errors, illegible writing and repeated recording. This is because the operation still uses conventional techniques. So the purpose of this e-Sampah program is to make it easier for waste banks and their customers to collect data on waste deposits that can be monitored and reported automatically. By designing using the PHP and MySql programming languages, this activity was carried out in November 2022 at the waste bank of Politeknik Negeri Samarinda. The method used is making e-Sampah applications, application trials, outreach and training related to how to operate e-Sampah applications. With the existence of e-Sampah, the problems complained of by the waste bank management were resolved. In addition, this activity also supports the waste bank program towards going digital.

Abstract

Elderly is the age of someone over 60 years who has decreased physiological function of the body causing non-communicable diseases such as hypertension, arthritis, stroke, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), diabetes mellitus (DM), and so on. This service aims to conduct health checks on the elderly in RW 09, Lembah Sari Village, Rumbai Timur as an early detection of non-communicable diseases. The method of implementing community service begins with direct assessment of the elderly accompanied by follow-up of the results of the health screening. The results of the service found that 11 elderly with hypertension, 2 elderly with high diabetes, and 6 elderly with high cholesterol.

Abstract

Kenderan Village is a village located in Tegalalang District, Gianyar Regency. This village has several potentials that are an attraction for tourists to visit, such as Manuaba Waterfall and Griya Sakti Manuaba Temple at Tangkas Banjar, Telaga Waja Temple at Kepitu Banjar, Sarcophagus at Batulusu Subak Uma Lawas Kaja Temple, and many more. The purpose of this activity is to conduct pieces of training related to the fields of F&B Service, F&B Product, Housekeeping, and front office, with the main target being the local community involving village heads, tourism village managers, and the head of the Kenderan Village Pokdarwis. This activity is carried out through training and mentoring with workshop methods, guided practices, and comparative studies. The conclusion of these training activities was positive responses from the participants, the Head of Kenderan Village, and the Chair of the Pokdarwis of Kenderan Village and they also wanted this activity to be carried out continuously. In addition, there was an increase in the participants' understanding of their skills, this was seen from the number of those who passed competency certification as much as 81.8% in the areas of Food Service, Food Product, Housekeeping, and Front Office.

Abstract

Ruminant husbandry is a fundamental economic aspect of Boyolali Regency. Animal health management is an important factor to guarantee the husbandry meets optimal production. The community service activity is aimed to contribute in controlling animal diseases at Boyolali. The service is carried out door to door accompanied by discussions with breeders and direct treatment of sick livestock. Interaction with breeders aims to provide practical education on the role of health in achieving efficient livestock production. The treatment provided included worming, vitamins, anti-ectoparasites, and pregnancy checks. The injection treatment was performed by veterinarians on 50 beef cattle, goats and sheep and proved to be effective in its implementation. This activity has been successful and all livestock can be diagnosed and treated according to the correct treatment mechanism.

Abstract

A child is considered stunted if, by the time they turn two years old, both his height and body length are below the WHO Multicentre Growth Reference Study standard. The aim of this PPMT activity is to increase public awareness and knowledge about stunting and improve food security. This program uses PRA, a strategy that includes socialization, training, and assistance with food security to improve the health of children with stunting. the general public's knowledge of stunting and efforts to prevent it has grown. By utilizing local resources, the team also hopes to assist the community increase its food security.

Abstract

The purpose of this activity is to provide an understanding of the insight into the values of religious moderation in stories to writers of children's stories. The method used for this activity is Participatory Action Research (PAR) which goes through the introduction stage, setting goals and objectives, determining children's story training and evaluating the assessment of children's story products with an insight into religious moderation. The results of this activity show that the training participants can understand religious moderation as evidenced by the increased post-test results, participants can present religious moderation material in written stories and participants can produce children's stories with an insight into religious moderation.

Abstract

Irrigation canals in Bendung Village, Kasemen District, Serang, only partially have masonry installed, most of them are still open canals. As time went by, the condition became deplorable, due to rain which eroded the cliffs due to surface erosion. This program aims to provide education about the vetiver system as a method of controlling surface erosion in irrigation canals. The method used in this activity was socialization about prevention of surface erosion in irrigation canals with vetiver roots, training and mentoring in making a pilot arrangement of vetiver in irrigation canals. As a result of the community service activities that have been carried out, it can be concluded that the socialization activities and shallow landslide/erosion control training with the "vetiver system" have provided new knowledge and skills for the people of Bendung Village.

Abstract

The huge number of stunted families is a major issue in Magelang, especially in Sidoagung Village. The community service program is aimed at improving the competency of cadres who serve as community assistants in developing public knowledge about the RDA for nutritional adequacy in pregnant women and young women. To address this issue, the community service program implemented a number of preventive and curative initiatives, including socialization through the distribution of educational posters, counseling on stunting for possible stunting cadres and families, and the enhancement of Posyandu services. The program has influence on developing competence in assisting the community, particularly in recognizing stunting and how to directly avoid it through the use of media posters, as well as understanding in supplying additional food based on nutritional adequacy.
