Abstract

This study aims to develop a web-based task management website to measure human resource performance. The website is designed to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of task assignment and monitoring processes within an organization. It provides managers or administrators with the capability to assign tasks to staff members quickly and efficiently. Staff members, on the other hand, can access a comprehensive list of assigned tasks, track their progress, and record the time required for task completion. Additional features such as automated notifications, task prioritization, and task reassignment are also included. The development of the website follows the software development life cycle approach, which consists of analysis, design, implementation, and evaluation phases. Data for the research were collected through participatory observation, interviews with staff and managers, and performance data analysis before and after the website's implementation. Descriptive statistical methods were employed to analyze the collected data and measure the effectiveness of the website in improving human resource performance. The findings of this study will provide valuable insights into the impact of a web-based task management system on human resource performance. It is expected that the website will enhance task assignment efficiency, improve communication and coordination between managers and staff, and ultimately contribute to overall organizational productivity. The research serves as a valuable resource for organizations seeking to optimize their human resource management processes through web-based solutions.

Abstract

Chest or thoracic X-ray examination is the most commonly used supporting examination in the diagnosis of lung diseases. In addition to being quick, X-rays are more economical than CT scans or laboratory blood tests. Before determining the disease that appears from the lung image in the chest X-ray image, the doctor first determines the boundaries of the lung area. Not every chest X-Ray image has a normal lung image, some display abnormal images that look white haze or morphological changes due to lung disease processes. As one of the CNN architectures that can be used in segmenting the lungs is UNET which is an encode-decoder architecture. This research tries to train a deep learning model with U-Net CNN architecture. From the results of our experiments, the proposed model can show the ability to recognize lung boundaries even though there are abnormal or foggy lung images. The performance of the model is calculated by measuring the pixel accuracy value and the overlap value with Jaccard Index (IoU), the values of both are 98.25% and 94.54% respectively.

Abstract

Workload problems are common in the health sector, one of which is at RSI Aminah, Blitar City. Workload problems are often found in the healthcare, which include manual calculation, a lack of awareness of the formula for workload calculation analysis, and infrequent evaluation, which lead to unbalanced loads. The information system is a solution that serves as a workload analysis calculation tool. Therefore, the researcher designed an Android-based WMA (Workload Measurement Analysis) application. The WMA application was developed using the waterfall system method, which consists of stages of analysis, design, coding, and testing. This application displays several features, including the login menu, homepage, learn, input data, conclusion, and history. In the homepage display, there are three preferred methods for calculating workloads: the WISN (Workload Indicator Staffing Need) method and ABK-Kes (Workload Analysis for Healthcare Industry) method for the healthcare sector. The WMA application was tested using the TAM (Technology Acceptance Model) method. Thus, it can be concluded that the informants are very satisfied with the ease and usefulness variables of the WMA (Workload Measurement Analysis) application. The WMA application is ready to be used in the healthcare sectors to help analyze workload calculations. Keywords: WMA application, TAM method, workload calculation.

Abstract

In managing the academic activities of SMP Negeri 3 Moyo Hulu, data and academic needs are still stored in a computer without being accessible to all relevant parties. The imbalance between the number of teachers and students and the lone operator staff has led to limitations in administrative management, such as attendance records and student grade processing. Additionally, the use of loaned applications from other schools for exams has caused inefficient administrative operations and potential data misuse issues. Therefore, the development of a web-based academic application using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method is necessary to improve efficiency, accuracy, and accessibility in managing academic activities. This application will include features such as student attendance, teacher attendance, class schedules, grade management, exams, and academic information accessible to all relevant parties. It is expected that the implementation of this application will optimize academic activities, facilitate teachers in providing services, and enhance the quality of education.

Abstract

Computer network infrastructure is one of the supporting components for smooth operations for companies that utilize Information and Communication Technology (ICT). Companies are required to continue to innovate to continue to grow so it requires various adjustments, including changes to the policy configuration of computer network infrastructure. Implementation of configuration changes to computer network infrastructure if done manually will be inefficient and ineffective. In addition, it is prone to errors as a result of human error resulting in downtime. The application of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) can be a solution to overcome these problems. This study analyzes the implementation of CI/CD on network infrastructure which is simulated using the PNETLab and GitLab CI/CD tools as well as Ansible Configuration Management. Based on the tests conducted five times, it can be concluded that the Ansible Playbook that has been created and integrated with the GitLab CI/CD pipeline can be used to automate configuration management of MikroTik-based network infrastructure that is simulated in PNETLab. CI/CD can speed up the implementation of configuration changes on network devices through an automated process. Testing additional configurations on the test network takes an average of 82.6 seconds. Meanwhile, on the production network, it takes an average of 80.2 seconds. On the other hand, testing the configuration deletion on the test network takes an average of 56.6 seconds. Meanwhile, on the production network, the average is 54.4 seconds. In addition, the application of CI/CD can minimize errors because before the configuration is applied to the production network, the configuration is tested first on the test network automatically. Application of the configuration to the production network is carried out only if testing of the configuration on the test network is successful. The CI/CD mechanism can improve the performance and reliability of computer network infrastructure.

Abstract

Repository information system is a system used to manage the filing of student thesis collections to make them neater, safer, easier to manage and accessible again. At the Prabumulih University Library, the process of accessing theses is still done manually by searching for and reading available theses at the Prabumulih University Library. This is the background for this research. In collecting data, researchers used qualitative descriptive methods including direct observation, interviews and literature study. So that data is obtained that there is no available access that makes it easy for students to read the full text of the thesis online. The result of this research is in the form of a web-based thesis repository information system design which is expected to help resolve the problems that occur. Using a repository information system can help library staff and students in obtaining and managing student thesis collections carefully, precisely and in a faster time. In designing this system, it uses the Extreme Programming (XP) method with Unified Modeling Language (UML) system modeling tool. Abstract

The cultivation of mushrooms, particularly the oyster mushroom variety, is gaining increasing popularity within the agricultural sector in Indonesia. The success of oyster mushroom cultivation is highly dependent on environmental factors, notably temperature and humidity, which must be consistently maintained. In response to these challenges, this research is centered on the design and implementation of an IoT-based automated temperature and humidity control system aimed at supporting the concept of house smart farming. The system developed in this research consists of temperature and humidity sensors connected to an ESP32 microcontroller. Furthermore, this system is equipped with a user interface based on a mobile application accessible through Android devices. With this system in place, farmers can monitor the environmental conditions of their mushroom growth facilities in real-time and adjust temperature and humidity easily through the mobile application. The system's key strength lies in its capability to monitor environmental conditions in real-time, allowing farmers to conveniently observe temperature and humidity levels in their mushroom cultivation facilities remotely. Additionally, the system can autonomously adjust temperature and humidity through the mobile application. The research findings conclusively demonstrate that this system can maintain the required ideal temperature and humidity levels for successful oyster mushroom cultivation.

Abstract

The development of monitoring applications in the field of floriculture is necessary to improve the quality of ornamental plants. Keeping up with the advancements in Internet of Things technology for detecting growing media conditions, an efficient monitoring solution is needed to optimize the growth, care, and productivity of plants. This research aims to create a mobile-based floriculture plant monitoring application that is expected to assist plant cultivators in observing the microenvironmental conditions of plants, measuring soil moisture, air humidity, and light received by the plants to detect potential issues such as pest infestations or diseases. Thus, the research and development of this application are expected to support the floriculture industry in enhancing plant quality, production efficiency, and environmental sustainability, making it an essential part of modern sustainable cultivation. This research will result in a mobile application built using the Flutter framework, designed to be more flexible for real-time monitoring, especially for Aglaonema plants, using the Waterfall development method. This application can detect not only Aglaonema plants but also other floriculture plants like Chrysanthemums and other ornamental plants. The application has been tested using the Blackbox method, and the test results indicate that the application performs well in monitoring the temperature, soil moisture, and air humidity of Aglaonema plants, sending data to the server, and displaying it on the application quickly and efficiently.

Abstract

History is a social science that studies important events that happened in the past. Indonesia is known to have a diverse historical and cultural heritage that can be used as a learning capital. One of Indonesia's historical sites is the temple. The purpose of this study is to develop interactive learning media on the topic of temples and pagodas that can help students increase their interest in learning and improve their knowledge about temples. To develop learning materials, the researchers used the ADDIE method. The data collection technique in this study used qualitative data collection conducted through interviews and questionnaire distribution. The results of this study indicate that developed learning media can increase learning interest and are easy for students to use.

Abstract

Nowadays, online buying and selling transactions are increasing. In this case, product photography is very important. Good product photography can help attract consumer buying interest so that it can increase selling value. The purpose of this research is to find out which smartphone between Samsung and Apple can produce product photos that are more selling according to consumers, and to find out whether product photos affect people's buying interest in Batam City. In media design, the author utilizes the 4D method (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) in the development of Product Photos. In addition, the author also uses quantitative methods in which the distribution of data is distributed through Google Forms with a total of 385 data respondents accompanied by blind tests. The results of the study show that there is no significant comparison between Samsung smartphone products with a score of 4435 (54.2%) and Apple with a score of 3745 (45.2%) in producing more selling Product Photos. Then for the results of quantitative data analysis shows that Product Photos (significance value <0.01 in the t test) have an influence on people's Purchase Interest in Batam City. This influence can also be seen in the coefficient of determination, where Product Photos have an effect of 25.6% on the Buying Interest variable.
