Abstract

This research was conducted at Raden Mattaher Hospital Jambi aims to determine the role of knowledge management on innovation performance mediated by employee engagement. This research is a quantitative study, with a sample of 94 respondents who are office administration personnel. Data analysis was carried out using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method using the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach. The results showed that knowledge management has a significant positive effect on innovation performance, knowledge management has a significant positive effect on employee engagement, employee engagement has a significant positive effect on innovation performance, and knowledge management through employee engagement has a significant effect in improving innovation performance. Abstract

The rapid development of the internet has resulted in an increasing demand for internet services. Consequently, there has been a rise in the usage of e-commerce in Indonesia. Apart from serving as a source of information, the internet is now predominantly used for online shopping. Currently, there are numerous online shopping applications such as Shopee, Lazada, Tokopedia, Blibli, Bukalapak, and others. This trend can lead to impulsive buying behavior among consumers. Impulsive buying is characterized by sudden, unplanned purchases without prior consideration or product evaluation. The objective of this study is to determine the prevalence of impulsive buying among students at one of the public universities in Jakarta. This research adopts a descriptive qualitative approach to provide a deeper understanding of issues, events, and occurrences. The study uses purposive sampling involving three female students aged 18-24 years who have experience with online shopping. Data collection is carried out through semi-structured interviews conducted face-to-face.The findings indicate that students at one of the public universities in Jakarta exhibit impulsive buying behavior. Among the three subjects in this study, several types of impulsive buying behavior were identified, namely pure impulse buying, suggestion impulse buying, reminder impulse buying, and planned impulse buying. Each subject reported engaging in online shopping activities 3 to 5 times per month.

Abstract

The potential for oil palm plantations in Jambi Province is very large. The vast area of oil palm land besides having the potential also causes its own problems. The side effects caused are the abundance of solid waste produced by palm oil in the form of fronds, stems, empty bunches, leaves and sticks. The abundance of solid palm oil waste is a problem in itself, especially for the environment. Through this research, it will be analyzed how the use of palm oil waste in community-owned oil palm plantation areas so that it can provide additional income for the community. This research uses a descriptive approach with mixed methods (combined qualitative and quantitative research) using AHP (Analysis Hierarchy Process) analysis tools is a decision-making method by simplifying a complex problem that is unstructured, strategic and dynamic in the form of a hierarchy. The results showed that an alternative innovation in solid waste treatment technology that is environmentally friendly is an alternative with the best weight of 0.425 and this is the first alternative ranking that can be done. Meanwhile, in the second order that can be done is the development of regulations with a weight of 0.232. In addition, the third alternative that has a weight of 0.220 is the support of private parties / palm oil companies and the last is socialization for oil palm farming communities with a weight of 0.123.

Abstract

This research aims to 1) describe the description of local orange farming in Jujun Village, Keliling Danau District, Kerinci Regency, 2) formulate a strategy for developing local orange commodities in Jujun Village, Keliling Danau District, Kerinci Regency, 3) analyze alternative strategies for developing local oranges in Jujun Village, Keliling District Kerinci Regency Lake. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis with IFAS, EFAS and SWOT analysis. The results of this research show that (1) the productivity of local orange farming in the study area fluctuates, (2) internal factors (strengths and weaknesses), and external factors (opportunities and threats) in local orange farming are in quadrant I position, indicating an organization that strong and has opportunities, so that it becomes the most profitable position for farmers, (3) alternative strategies that can be recommended are progressive strategies, namely cultivating and providing assistance to farmers to strengthen farmer institutions, Support and facilitation to support the availability of agricultural facilities and infrastructure, Encourage farming To maximize the use of political land, Collaboration with Meldia introduces products, facilitates capital assistance from financing institutions, and encourages improvements in the quality and quantity of farming roads, especially in local orange production center locations

Abstract

The fact that Apis mellifera honey exists and can be used as a superior regional product has made the people of Jambi proud. The better the quality of honey, the more satisfied the community will be. Thus, every effort that leads to improving the quality of honey needs to be encouraged. Behavior of individuals who consume honey influences perception. This study aims to determine the public’s perception of cultivated honey. This research uses the importance performance method in qualitative descriptive setting. In general, the public’s perception of the quality of Apis mellifera honey is in accordance with their level of expectations. The solutions offered is to include informations on the honey packaging in the form of a halal label and expiration date, educate the public that Apis mellifera honey does have a distinctive smell, expand the market so that people can obtain the product easlily, make flavor varients, attractive packaging, and intensive promotion. Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of MSMEs performance on poverty rates and income inequality in Jambi province. Using panel data from 11 regencies/cities during the period 2013-2022, the analysis model applied to estimate the functional relationship between variables is a fixed effect panel regression approach. The results of the study indicate that MSMEs performance can positively and significantly reduce poverty rates and improve income distribution in the region. The higher the performance of MSMEs, the lower the poverty rate and the lower the income inequality. This finding has implications that local government efforts to reduce poverty rates and improve income distribution in the province can be carried out through policies related to improving MSMEs performance
