<![CDATA[Abstract. The purpose of this study is to describe the mistakes made by the students in the use of Relativ Sentence. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. The data sources are students of Department of German Education, State University of Makassar. The data in this study are the sentences that contain elements Relativ Sentence from the essays made by the students. The instruments used are divided into two parts, the researcher as the primary instrument, and a table which serves as a supporting instrument. The results showed that there are still quite a lot of mistakes made use of Relativ Sentence in their essays, especially in terms of placement of the verb, in the case of the use Relativpronomen Nominativ, Akkusativ, and dative, as well as the errors in the position of relative clause. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there are still many students of the German Language Study Program in 2019 who do not understand the Relativsatz material well.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract. This research was conducted to obtain data and information about reading skills to understand German students. This research is Quasi Experimental Design. The research population is all students grade X SMA Negeri 1 Kab. Barru consisted of 12 classes totaling 396 students. Sampling in this study uses random sampling with a sample consisting of 2 classes, namely class X IPS 6 as an experimental class with 27 students and class X IPS 4 as a control class with the same number of students, 27 people. The research data was obtained through reading skills tests understanding German. Data were analyzed using t-test with the results showing that t-count 11.89> t-table 2.007 with a significance level of 0.05. Thus this study shows that the use of Think Pair Share techniques is effective in improving reading skills in understanding German students' language.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract. The objectives of this research is to figure out whether or not the implementation of SQ3R technique can improve reading comprehension of the eighth grade students of Mts Al-Khairiyah in academic year 2018/2019. Therefore, to achieve the objective, the writer conducted a action research. This research was conducted in two cycles where each cycle had 2 sessions. The data were analyzed by comparing the result of pre-test and post-test. The result post- test showed the significant improvement. This research furthermore showed that most of the subjects gave positive response that SQ3R technique was successfully applied in improving the subjects’ reading comprehension. In conclusion, the present classroom action study proved that SQ3R technique could improve reading comprehension of the eighth grade students of Mts Al-Khairiyah in academic year 2018/2019.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract. This research is quasy experiment , two group pretest - posttest design that aims to determine the effectiveness using the language laboratory learning listening skills in German language students , German Study Program, Faculty of Language and Literature, Makassar State University. The population in this study were students on the second semester, academic year 2015, German language education students, totaling 22 people , and the sample used in this study is total sample . Hypothesis testing using t- test. Analysis using t-test, tcount = 2.42 while t tabel= 2.086 t count ≥ t table (2.42 ≥ 2.086 ) . So, H0 stating that use of the language laboratory is not effective in listening skills German student education is rejected. Consequently H1 which states that the use of effective language laboratory in the listening skills of students in the education department of the German language is accepted. The results of this study can be concluded that teaching by using a language laboratory can be used as a medium of learning to improve listening skills of students in the German language.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract. This research was conducted to obtain data and information about the effectiveness of the use of cooperative learning models of Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) type in learning the ability to read German text in class X MIPA students of SMA Negeri 1 Barru. This type of research is a Quasi Experiment using Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The study population is all students of class X MIPA SMA 1 Barru consisting of 3 classes with a total of 98 people. The sample in this study were students of class X MIPA 4 with a total of 28 people as an experimental group and students of class X MIPA 5 with a total of 28 people as a control group. Research data were collected using a test of reading German text skills. Retrieval of data using pretest and posttest. The results of data analysis show that Z-count has a value of -3.664 which is smaller than Z-table which is 0.67. This means that H0 is rejected. The results of this analysis mean that the cooperative learning model type Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) is effective in improving the ability to read German text in Class X MIPA Students in SMA Negeri 1 Barru.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract. The purpose of this research was to know the effectiveness of pictures in writing class of senior high school students. It employed a quantitative method using the quasi-experimental design. The subject of the research was the third year students of on senior high school in Sidrap Regency, South Sulawesi, Indonesia. The total number of population is 100 students which are distributed in 5 classes. Each class consists of 20 students. The sampling technique used in this research is cluster random sampling. The instrument was a writing test to obtain data on the students’ writing achievement through the pictures. Based on the result the researcher concluded that the pictures enhance the writing skill of senior high schools’ students.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract. The main purposes of this research is to design technology-assisted lesson materials for nursing students by using TPACK. English for Specific Purposes (henceforth, ESP) for nursing students focuses on preparing students to use English in their academic field and support their professions in their future career as a nurse. Conducted in one of private health science schools in Yogyakarta, this research employed Research and Development (henceforth, R&D) as the method. Needs analysis by using interviews and observations were done to gather the data. The research participants were one English teacher and 45 nursing students of the third semester of the respective institution. In addition to the research method, Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (henceforth, ADDIE) framework was adopted to design the lesson materials. The results of the research indicated that the students showed their needs and interests in using technological tools during their learning process; this was revealed through the results of the needs analysis conducted at the beginning of the research. Secondly, the technological tools implemented by using TPACK framework seem to empower the students during the learning process; they got more confident in engaging the classroom activities and participated more actively in class. The results of this research will provide insight for ESP teachers in designing technology assisted lesson materials and instructional activities by using TPACK framework. Moreover, ESP teachers might consider to implement TPACK framework to build blended learning environment in facilitating student learning.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract. This research was conducted to obtain data and information about the relationship between Selbsvertrauen and Sprechfertigkeit German Language Class XI students of SMA Negeri 8 Makassar. The variable in this study is Selbsvertrauen and the dependent variable is Sprechfertikgeit. The population in this study were all class XI of SMA Negeri 8 Makassar consisting of 3 classes, the sample in this study were students of class XI MIPA 2 at SMA Negeri 8 Makassar with a total of 35 people. The results of this study obtained the results of speaking skills and questionnaire tests. Based on the results of the study indicate that the R count is greater than the R table (0.796 <0.334). The analysis showed that there was a relation between Selbsvertrauen and Sprechfertigkeit German Language Class XI students at SMA Negeri 8 Makassar.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract. This study aims to determine the data and information about the level of mastery of article of German in composing simple sentences and the factors that influence the mastery of German clothing in Sinjai 3 High School students in compiling simple sentences. This research is quantitative descriptive. To collect data used a written test, and a closed questionnaire. Then the data collected was analyzed using percentage techniques. The population in this study were all students of class XI IPS SMA Negeri 3 Sinjai. The sample used in this study was total sampling consisting of 3 classes with 83 students. The results of the study showed that the mastery of German language clothing for Sinjai 3 High School students in compiling simple sentences was in the Less category (58.34%).]]>
