Abstract

Decision support system (SPK) is a computer-based system that is intended to help decision makers by utilizing certain data and models to solve various unstructured problems. From the results of research observations, it was found that the system used to elect prospective student council candidates at the State High School 1 Mulak Ulu still uses a manual selection system. This study aims to design a decision support system for OSIS chair election using the Analytical Hierarchy Process method in which OSIS chair election takes into account the criteria of intelligence, activeness, crafts as well as the vision and mission of the student council president candidates. In making this decision support system using the Programming Hypertext Preprocessor programming and Mysql database. While the system development method uses the Waterfall method with the stages of analysis, design, coding and testing. The final results obtained after being tested in the State High School 1 Mulak Ulu is a decision support system that has the ability to solve problems in the process of selecting the student council president

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to design and develop an application for learning animations for Teori Bahasa Otomata courses at the Pagar Alam High School of Technology that attracts students' interest. The background of this research is learning that still uses conventional media which makes it difficult for teachers so that it takes a long time and makes students bored when learning takes place. The animation application for learning the Teori Bahasa Otomata course was developed using Adobe Flash Professional CS6 and Xampp applications as server software to the MySql database. This research uses the Design Development Implementation Evaluation (ADDIE) analysis system development method. Based on the results of the expert review that has been carried out, it shows an average value of 4.90 with a very valid category. Then based on the results of the field test or alpha and beta tests obtained from the results of the pretest and posttest the average student scored 87.0 in the High category. This shows an increase in learning outcomes before and after the use of Design and Build Animation Learning Teori Bahasa Otomata.

Abstract

YWKA Palembang High School is one of the private high schools in the city of Palembang, which will certainly continue to grow in order to improve the competence and quality of its students. However, there are still some obstacles in the management of student data that still uses paper based as an archive. The purpose of this thesis is to build an academic information system at SMA YWKA Palembang to simplify and save time in the process of selecting teacher teaching schedules, final grades, searching for teacher and student data, and recap attendance. Where the design of this information system can be used as a medium to help make the information system more effective and efficient. The system is built using an iterative development methodology and uses the PHP and MySQL programming languages ​​as DBMS. The academic information system built can simplify all data management procedures to be more effective and efficient and become a medium for faster delivery of information.

Abstract

Sensitive data leakage occurs when it is unintentionally made available to or accessed by unauthorized individuals. Sentiment analysis is the process of analyzing text to gather different data from the web and social media in order to obtain opinions from internet users on a particular topic. Sentiment analysis is a branch of Natural Language Processing (NLP) that develops a system for extracting and identifying public opinion from text that is then transformed into structured data. One kind of technique for classifying data is Naïve Bayes. Naïve Bayes uses conditional probabilities to assign labels to instances. Abstract

In recent years, electronic commerce or e-commerce has experienced significant growth worldwide. Retail companies utilize e-commerce platforms to sell their products to customers in various countries. In this context, a good understanding of sales data and trends in the global market becomes crucial for optimizing marketing strategies and improving sales performance. Data visualization plays a vital role in transforming complex sales data into easily understandable graphs, charts, and tables. Tableau, as a popular data visualization tool, aids retail companies in creating appealing and informative dashboards, understanding global sales trends, identifying business opportunities, and making evidence-based decisions. In this research, descriptive analysis is used to provide a concise and detailed overview of sales data in the global retail industry. The visualization results using Tableau reveal that New Zealand is the country with the highest sales, the year 2014 had the highest sales, and personal care products are the most purchased items by consumers. This research provides valuable insights for retail companies to optimize their marketing strategies and make better-informed decisions based on a deeper understanding of their sales data.

Abstract

The author made observations at Denis Palembang Printing Shop, in the printing press. The data processing has been computerized using a simple application, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Office, in processing data and making reports. To support several theories such as UML the data processing method used is the waterfall model. and AppServ software (Apache, MySql), PHP and MySQL, Microsoft Office and Microsoft Visio as supporting software. Web-based data processing will make it easier to process ordering data, goods data, customer data, payment data and making reports in Denis Palembang Shop Printing so that it can help employees at Denis Palembang Printing Shop process and make reports and other matters needed

Abstract

Balai Besar Sungai Sumatra VIII is in charge of managing water resources in river areas, which includes planning, implementing construction, operation and maintenance in the framework of conservation and utilization of water resources and controlling the destructive power of water in rivers, lakes, reservoirs, dams and other water reservoirs, irrigation, groundwater, raw water, swamps, ponds and beaches to support activities in operation and maintenance, inventory and monitoring of river structures, both newly built and those that are no longer functioning, are carried out. In this case, a third-party consultant conducts field inspections and analyzes the building and the surrounding area. The results of the reports submitted by the contractor in the form of report documents and Excel files in the assessment of inspection results from these results will be decided using criteria to determine the results of the decision to make improvements. The results of the submitted reports have not been managed digitally, so to look for report data carried out in the previous year, you have to search on a computer. It takes quite a long time, and there is a possibility that the data cannot be found. The results of the reports submitted by the contractor are in the form of document reports and Excel files in the assessment inspection results; these results will be decided using the criteria to determine the results of the decision to make improvements, encourage the author to develop a system that can inventory and maintain river buildings, which can minimize document collisions and make it easy to find the required data. Web-based and using the MySQL database to accommodate these activities so that it can make it easier to search and minimize piles of documents.

Abstract

The presence of ChatGPT, which is based on Artificial Intelligence (AI), has attracted public attention and become a polemic. This application is very helpful for users in finding information, translating languages, and generating text similar to human speech. OpenAI's decision to launch the ChatGPT Plus service is related to its monetization strategy and maintaining user interest. In this regard, a study was conducted using the Naïve Bayes method to classify the sentiment of the Twitter community towards ChatGPT in the period 30/11/2022 to 31/12/2022. This study took 5001 tweet data from the available dataset, and used TF-IDF feature extraction and BOW feature extraction, with data division into 70% training data and 30% test data. This research gets the highest accuracy value of 59% using BOW feature extraction.
