Abstract

Character education is an effort to educate children so that they can make decision wisely and can practice them in their daily lives. Be Star tutoring is one of the non formal education that seeks to implement character education in the proses of tutoring and outside the prosess of tutoring. The problems to be discussed in this article are 1) Efforts in the implemention of character education in non formal education at Be Star tutoring in Cempaga Village Bangli District Bangli Regency. 2) Obstacles faced in the implementation of character education in non formal education at Be Star tutoring in Cempaga Village Bangli District Bangli Regency. 3) The role of teacher in implementation of charcter education at Be Star tutoring in Cempaga Village Bangli District Bangli Regency. The theories used to analyze the problems were Atitude Theory, Behavioristic Theory, Role Theory. Data collection methodes were observation, interviews, literature studies and documentation. The data that had been collected was analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show 1) Efforts in the implemention of character education in non formal education in at Be Star tutoring in Cempaga Village Bangli District Bangli Regency that is habituation activities including routine activities and spontaneous activities of exemplary advice and the application of eighteen characters. 2). Obstacles faced in the implementation of character education in non formal education at Be Star tutoring in Cempaga Village Bangli District Bangli Regency namely the limited time and environment, the influence of information technology, as well as parenting. 3). The role of teacher in implementation of charcter education at Be Star tutoring in Cempaga Village Bangli District Bangli Regency namely as a teacher, as a role model, as an inspiration, as a motivator, as dynamisator, and evaluator.

Abstract

The school environment has an important role in the learning process of Hinduism and Pekerti in school, this is because when the school environment is not comfortable such as noise, the room is too glare, and there is not enough plants to make the school shady, then students will not concentrate in the process learning. When the school environment is comfortable, students will be happy and even motivated to learn. This study aims to determine (1) the role of the school environment in the process of learning Hinduism and Budi Pekerti at Canggu 1 State Elementary School. (2) To find out students' perceptions at SD Negeri 1 Canggu about the role of the school environment in the process of learning Hinduism and character traits. (3) To know the educational values ​​contained in the school environment that play a role in the process of learning Hinduism and character. The theories used to dissect the problem are: Education Theory, from Titib to dissect the first problem, Perception Theory, from Robbins to dissect the second problem, the Value Theory, from Louis O. Kattsoff (in rahayu) to dissect the third problem. The subjects of this study were Hindu religious education teachers and Hindu students at Canggu 1 Elementary School. Data collection method is by Observation Method, Interview, Literature, and Documentation. The data that has been collected is analyzed by qualitative descriptive analysis method with steps of reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show (1) The role of the school environment in the Hindu and Pekerti learning process is to provide a means of learning through the physical environment of the school, and as a mental form of students through the school's social environment as well as students' self-development through the school's academic environment. (2) Students' perceptions at SD Negeri 1 Canggu about the role of the school environment in the process of learning Hinduism and character are students realize that the school environment is very instrumental in the learning process because schools provide facilities and infrastructure, methods that support the learning process, the existence of trees - trees that are shady and not noisy which makes students focus on learning. (3) Educational Values ​​contained in the School Environment that play a role in the Learning Process of Hinduism and Characteristic are the Value of Praise, Sradha Value and Cultural Value.

Abstract

The existence of the Panglukatan Sapta Gangga is currently the talk and the main objective for the activities and spiritual journey that targets the Panglukatan location. The condition of the Panglukatan is relatively new but has various functions and religious and spiritual meanings, and considering that there are so many Hindus who do not understand the meanings contained in the commemoration program it requires more optimal arrangement. Therefore it is necessary to disseminate the teachings of religion to the people, so that the people believe and understand the meanings contained in a religion so that it can be practiced in living their daily lives. The problems discussed are the first regarding the existence of Panglukatan Sapta Gangga in Luhur Tambawaras Temple, Sangketan Village, Penebel District, Tabanan Regency dissected using religious theory, the results of the research include history, structure, Panglukatan Sapta Gangga, upakara and malukat provisions. Secondly, the function of Panglukatan Sapta Gangga in Luhur Tambawaras Temple, Sangketan Village, Penebel District, Tabanan Regency was dissected using structural functional theory, the results of the study showed that Panglukatan Sapta Gangga as a Cleaning / Cleansing Media, Panglukatan Sapta Gangga as Medicinal Media / Usadha, Panglukatan Sapta Gangga As Media Religious Counseling. Third, concerning the impact of the existence of Sapta Gangga Commando in Luhur Tambawaras Temple, Sangketan Village, Penebel District, Tabanan Regency was dissected using behavioral theory, with the results of the discussion including cognitive impact (changes in knowledge), affective effects such as emotional and feelings changes, and behavioral impacts related to behavior. the community

Abstract

The phenomenon of the existence of Hinduism Extension workers civil servants and non civil and social religious civil servants in modern times is an interesting theme to be studied, the fact that people in South Denpasar Subdistrict cannot avoid modernity is where the role of extension workers in providing guidance and counseling to Hinduism is required. able to improve the quality of religious life. Digging and dissecting the formulation of predetermined problems using three theories are: (1) theory of existence, (2) perception theory, and (3) theory of communication barriers. This study uses research methods which include: research approaches using qualitative methods. The research location is in the District of Selatan Denpasar. Types and sources of data used are types of qualitative data, while data sources used are primary and secondary data. The technique of determining the informants used is purvitative sampling. Data collection techniques include: observation techniques, interviews, literature, and documentation. The results of the analysis obtained from this study are 1) the existence of Hinduism extensionists. In this task, the Hinduism Extension has 5 (five) functions, namely, administrative, educative, facilitative, consultative, and transformative. Potential This fostered area is classified as a densely populated urban area and a high level of religious heterogeneity. The need for worship facilities and infrastructure is sufficient. The number of Hinduism Religious instructors in the City of Selatan Denpasar is as many as 2 Hindu Religion Extension Servants PNS and 16 Non-PNS Hindu Religion Extension. 2) Community perception is categorized into, a). Perceptions of community leaders, b). Stakeholder Perception, c). sekaa perception, d). widyasabha perception. Perception is seen as the most important component in the delivery of information. Through the public perception can be realized, can understand about the condition of the community in 10 villages / villages in Selatan Denpasar. The community can reveal how the performance of the Hindu Religious Extension in each of the target areas 3) internal and external constraints that occur when coaching Hinduism.

Abstract

The teachings of Hinduism have three basic frameworks, namely tattwa (philosophy), susila (ethics) and events (ritual). The moral aspect is very important in social life because humans cannot live alone. The teaching of morality teaches the ethics of behaving as a living human being with various differences to realize a harmonious relationship with fellow human beings. This is done by the Institut Hindu Dharma Negeri Denpasar (IHDN) Institute as one of the open universities willing to accept blind students. All students, both normal and needy are considered equally entitled to get the highest education. This is an implementation of the teachings of Tat Twam Asi in Hinduism. This study uses theories such as: Functional Structural Theory used to dissect the problem in the form of the implementation of the Tat Twam Asi teachings for blind students in IHDN Denpasar. Symbolic Interaction Theory used to dissect the problem of obstacles in the implementation of the Tat Twam Asi teachings on blind students in IHDN Denpasar. Behaviorism Theory is used to dissect the problem of the impact of the implementation of the Tat Twam Asi teachings on blind students in IHDN Denpasar. To get accurate data used qualitative research methods with data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, documentation and literature study. This research found the form of implementation of Tat Twam Asi teachings on blind students in Denpasar IHDN in the form of Tri Kaya Parisudha behavior and the practice of Paramita Chess. Two forms of implementation of the Tat Twam Asi teachings have become the function of IHDN Denpasar as one of the Hindu state universities in preparing Hindu human resources who are not only superior in Dharma, Widya, and Culture, but also able to apply the principles of tolerance needed in group life orcommunity. Obstacles in the implementation of Tat Twam Asi's teachings on students with visual implementasion in IHDN Denpasar consist of external barriers in the form of adjustments to the new environment, and internal barriers in the form of limitations in seeing and mentally blind students who are not confident so they become inferior. Obstacles or obstacles can be resolved through mutual understanding among the people by implementing the Tat Twam Asi teachings to overcome any obstacles. Language or symbols used to resolve obstacles must be clear in interacting. The impact of the implementation of the Tat Twam Asi teachings for students with visual impairments in IHDN Denpasar is three, namely the social impact of the formation of kinship and harmonious relations; the impact of religion with increasing religious emotion in the form of gratitude; and the ethical impact of manners, compassion, respect, and openness accept differences.

Abstract

Geguritan Lubdaka is one of the classic literary works containing a lot of moral knowledge and religion. The teachings in Geguritan Lubdaka provide motivation in improving the spiritual quality of human beings. Judging from its contents as a whole Geguritan Lubdaka contains many religious teachings as well as religiou ceremonies (rituals) and speech (advice). The problem will be discussed, among others, (1) How is the structure of Geguritan Lubdaka, as one of the traditional literary works of Bali, (2) What is the function of Geguritan Lubdaka when associated with the social and religious (religious) environment ?, (3) Values What kind of Hindu Religious Education is contained in Geguritan Lubdaka ?. Theories used to analyze problems are: structuralism theory, functional theory, and value theory. The method used is: Type of Research and research approach, Data Types and Data Sources, Data Collection Techniques which include Observation, Interview, Library Studies and Documentation, Data Analysis include descriptive analysis methods and hermeneutic analysis methods, and the last method of data analysis. The function of Geguritan Lubdaka in social environment as the media of individual and group entertainer, giving message and meaning so that we can control ourselves from negative things, indirectly Geguritan Lubdaka also can be used as education media in teaching Dharma Gita especially Hindu religion, and can unite individual into one group (Sekaa Santi). While the function of divinity or religion can be seen through the figures of the gods that are found in Geguritan Lubdaka, such as Lord Shiva and God Yama. Furthermore, based on the analysis of the structure can be disclosed the values ​​of Hindu religious education contained in Geguritan Lubdaka namely the value of tattwa education (philosophy of Religion), the value of moral education (ethics) and the value of education ceremony. The point between literature and religion has a very close relationship and has an important role in supporting religious activities, and does not leave its limitations. So philosophy, ethics and ceremony are the basic concepts of Hinduism that have an important role in the Geguritan Lubdaka.

Abstract

These problems have been examined by using several theories, namely religious theory, struktural functionalism theory, and values theory. The method was unsed in thus research was qualitativ method which the process consists of detemining the resear location, detarmining the types and the data sources,determining the research instruments, determining the data collection method by using observation, interview, dokumen study, data analysis and presentation of the resul of data analysis. 1) The procesion of nunas Kecap Mandi tradition at Dalem Gede temple in Pakraman Galiran village could be described in three tages of implementation, the first stage, the core stage, and the final stage. The frist stage in carried out the process in making Kecap Mandi. At the core stage is carried out of nunas Kecap Mandi procesion which this process had been begun with Nedunang Ida Bhatara tedun to pelinggih Dasar, praying, nunas Kecap Mandi an nunas Wangsupada (Tirta). Then at the final stage is ceriied out the process of ngewaliang Ida Bhatara to Pelinggih Pengaruman. 2) The function of nunas Kecap Mandi tradition at Dalem Gede temple in Pakraman Galiran village are pleading prosperity function, social function and education functiona. 3) The Hindu education values contained of nunas Kecap Mandi tradition at Dalem Gede temple in Pakraman Galiran village are the tattwa velues, moral velues, and ceremony values.

Abstract

Implementation of religious ceremonies (piodalan) in Bali always include a form of art in it, one of which is a guardian dance. There are many types of guardian dance performed in a piodalan one of them Sang Hyang dance. Of the many dance the hyang Sang Hyang Jaran dance is a dance chosen by masyaraat nusa penida who settled in Banjar Palarejo Ekasari Village as a guardian dance performed at Pandean banjar Palerejo Temple. It is above the background of researchers to conduct scientific research. The problems discussed are; (1) The form of staging dance Sang Hyang Jaran in Banjar Palarejo Village Ekasari Melaya District Jembrana? (2) Sang Hyang Jaran dance function in Banjar Palarejo Desa Ekasari Melaya District Jembrana District? (3) The value of Hindu Religion education contained in Sang Hyang Jaran Dance in Banjar Palarejo Desa Ekasari Melaya Sub-district Jembrana District? This study aims to determine (1) The form of staging Dance Sang Hyang Jaran in Banjar Palarejo Village Ekasari Melaya District Jembrana District (2) Function staging Dance Sang Hyang Jaran in Banjar Palarejo Village Ekasari Melaya District Jembrana District (3) The value of pendidian Hindu religion in Sang Hyang Jaran Dance at Banjar Palarejo Desa Ekasari Melaya Sub-district Jembrana District. The theory used to analyze the problem is; Religious theory, structural functional theory, value theory. This type of research is qualitative. This research was conducted in August to November in Ekasari Village, Melaya District, Jembrana District.The results of this study indicate that Sang Hyang Jaran dance in Banjar Palarejo Desa Pekraman Ekasari is a dance that is sacred, if not danced can cause life imbalance. The staging process is traversed by several stages: nyudi, nusdus, dancing and returning consciousness of the dancer. The function of this dance performance is rejecting reinforcement, as a unifying tool of society, the function of cultural art preservation. The value of Hindu Religious Education contained in the dance Sang Hyang Jaran is tattwa value, moral value, aesthetic value. Sang Hyang Jaran Dance is believed to be a symbol of God's descent to earth as a symbol of sanctification.

Abstract

The phenomenon of religiousness in Bali shows the existence of various uniqueness and uniqueness itself. One form of uniqueness can be found on the use of leaf banten in Pura Dadia Alangkajeng, Apparently, this is related to the myth and role of leaf banten for klen Alangkajeng. This particularity is interesting to be studied more deeply so that the overall function and value in it becomes more clear. Problems raised in this study are: (1) Why is leaf banten used as a means of ceremony in Pura Dadia Alangkajeng ?; (2) What is the function of leaf banten in Pura Dadia Alangkajeng ?; (3) What is the value of Hindu religion education contained in the use of leaf banten in Pura Dadia Alangkajeng? This research is categorized into qualitative research using religious theory; the theory of structural functionalism; and constructivism theory. Qualitative data in this research is obtained by data collection method, consist of observation, interview, and document study which is processed by data analysis method with three stages: data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing.The leaf banten function for Alangkajeng clan is 1) the magical religious function of expressing the religious system (carrying out religious activities) and the conception of belief in God with all his manifestations; 2) social function, to strengthen the solidarity of family members of Dadia Alangkajeng; intensify the solidarity of family members; and show family identity; and 3) the function of education, to guide the Alangkajeng clan to behave in accordance with the conception of Tri Kaya Parisudha.The values ​​of Hindu religious education in the use of leaf banten in Pura Dadia Alangkajeng help clan members in the process of self evolution to a more perfect, noble, and happy stage. These values ​​are (1) the value of tattwe education, ie belief in the omnipotence of God (Bhattara Shiva) as the ultimate reality; (2) the value of ethical education that leads to the purification of mind (manacika parisuddha); sanctification of words (wacika parisuddha); and the sanctification of deeds (kayika parisuddha) and (3) the value of education of the event, marked by the presence of kuna drsta which underlies the execution of yadnya ceremony by using leaf banten; as well as piodalan ceremony in Pura Dadia conducted according to the time calculation in wariga system.

Abstract

This research was conducted on the interest of the writer of Wariga in Bali. Wariga is when adjusted to the Hindu Theological derivation is very compatible with Theology Day, because in it contains about God's involvement in any time or day that can affect human life. Nowadays, the understanding of Wariga and Hindu theology is still low, therefore it is important to describe and analyze critically the Theology Day that exist in manuscript, especially Lontar Aji Swamaṇḍala. The results of this research are the teachings contained in Lontar Aji Swamaṇḍala includes (1) Widhi, (2) Manusya, (3) Mukti, and (4) Wariga Concept. The functions of teaching includes (1) Religious Functions, (2) Function of Liberation, (3) Social Functions, and (4) Cultural Functions. Theological Meaning The Day includes (1) God Omnipresent (Wibhu Śakti), (2) God is All-powerfull (Prabhu Śakti), (3) God Omniscient (Jñāna Śakti), and (4) The God is All-creator (Kṛya Śakti).
