Abstract

This study explores the influence of customer experience and product quality on customer loyalty in the skincare industry, focusing on Skintific beauty product users in Kolaka Regency, Indonesia. The research adopts a quantitative approach, collecting data through a structured questionnaire distributed to respondents. The findings reveal that both customer experience and product quality significantly contribute to customer loyalty, with product quality having a slightly stronger impact. A positive brand experience enhances consumer engagement, but perceived product effectiveness and reliability remain key factors in fostering long-term loyalty. This study concludes that a strategic balance between experiential marketing and product innovation is crucial for maintaining customer retention. Future research is encouraged to examine additional factors such as brand reputation, pricing strategies, and social influence in shaping customer commitment.

Abstract

Traditional Performance Management Systems (PMS) often face criticism for being rigid and demotivating. Gamification, the use of game design elements in non-game contexts, has emerged as an innovative approach to enhance PMSs by engaging and motivating employees. PT XTA's PMS faces challenges such as a lack of transparency, motivation, and engagement. Employees seek clarity on how performance assessments impact their career progression and remuneration. The current PMS lacks stimulating elements, leading to decreased motivation and participation. This research aims to review and improve the existing PMS at PT XTA by integrating gamification. The data was analyzed using qualitative techniques, including content analysis for interviews and interpretative observation for observations. The research concludes that while PT XTA's PMS has advantages like facilitating SMART goal setting and multi-source feedback, it faces significant challenges such as a lack of transparency and overly ambitious goals leading to employee stress. Gamification can address these challenges by enhancing transparency, motivation, engagement, and continuous learning. Recommendations for incorporating gamification into the PMS are proposed based on the findings.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the acceptance and use of the Village Financial System (Siskeudes), and to examine which theoretical approaches are most appropriate for investigating these acceptance factors. The study employs two theoretical models: the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), incorporating variables such as ease of use, attitude, perceived usefulness, intention to use, normative perceptions, and continuous learning. The novelty of this research compared to previous studies lies in the addition of the continuous learning variable. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed directly to respondents. The sample consisted of 82 users of the Siskeudes application from various village governments in Pelalawan Regency. The data were analyzed using SPSS 20, employing both T-tests and F-tests. The results show that ease of use, usefulness, intention to use, normative perception, and continuous learning have a positive influence on the use of the Siskeudes application. However, attitude was found to have no significant effect on its usage. A key limitation of this study is that the sample was limited to village governments in a single regency.

Abstract

Interpersonal communication is an important aspect in an organization to manage the flow of information between employees or employees and superiors, while work ethic plays an important role in increasing motivation and commitment in carrying out tasks, an ammonia distribution company in Karawang. The research background shows that the performance of employees of this company is still not optimal, with data showing fluctuations in performance scores from 2021 to 2023. The study aims to evaluate the extent to which interpersonal communication and work ethic contribute to improving employee performance. The methodology used is a quantitative verification approach with a population of 34 employees, using a closed questionnaire as a data collection instrument. The results showed that interpersonal communication has no significant effect partially on employee performance, while work ethic has a significant effect. Simultaneously, the two variables contributed 80.6% to the variation in employee performance. This finding confirms the importance of work ethic development as a top priority to improve productivity and work quality. In conclusion, although interpersonal communication has no significant effect partially, the synergy between good interpersonal communication and high work ethic together can create a more effective and harmonious work environment. Recommendations for management are to strengthen communication training and work ethic development programs to optimize employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of interpersonal communication (X1) and work-life balance (X2) on the performance of contract employees in the AC Division of PT Sharp Electronics Indonesia. Using a quantitative approach with a survey method, this study involved 50 contract employees as respondents, with data collected through questionnaires. Data analysis was conducted with multiple linear regression, t test, and F test to evaluate partial and simultaneous effects. The results showed that interpersonal communication and work-life balance have a significant effect on individual employee performance. Good communication enhances collaboration and productivity, while a maintained work-life balance supports well-being and motivation. However, when the two variables were analyzed together, they had no significant effect on performance, with a coefficient of determination of only 7.9%, indicating the presence of other factors affecting performance. Based on these findings, it is important for companies to improve interpersonal communication and support work-life balance to optimize employee performance. Therefore, companies need to design communication training programs and work flexibility policies.
