Abstract

Understanding factors that influence consumer purchasing decisions is essential for improving customer satisfaction and business performance. This study investigates the effect of product quality and social media promotion on consumers’ purchasing decisions for Banana Stem Chopping Machines at Denita Welding and Lathe Workshop, with customer satisfaction as a mediating variable. A quantitative approach was used, collecting data via online questionnaires and direct field surveys from 64 respondents who had purchased the machines in the past five years. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares (PLS) within Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) via SmartPLS. The results show that product quality, social media promotion, and customer satisfaction significantly affect purchase decisions. In addition, product quality and social media promotion enhance customer satisfaction, which in turn drives purchasing behavior. The study highlights the importance of maintaining high product quality and implementing effective social media strategies to increase customer satisfaction and purchase decisions.

Abstract

This study analyzes cash flows and earnings quality at KSP Karya Abadi in Pemaron Village over 2021–2023. The research uses a descriptive quantitative method with a financial statement approach, focusing on income statements and cash flow reports. The results show that although net income fluctuated—decreasing in 2022 and rising significantly in 2023—the efficiency of earnings, as measured by the Net Profit Margin (NPM), declined from 62.8% in 2021 to 57.1% in 2022 and remained stagnant in 2023. Operating cash flows remained positive throughout the three years, reflecting the cooperative’s ability to generate cash from its core business activities. Earnings quality, assessed by comparing operating cash flows to net income, was categorized as very good in 2021 and 2022, and moderately good in 2023. These findings emphasize the importance of evaluating the nominal value of earnings and their quality and sustainability over time.

Abstract

The use of digital payment services with credit facilities, such as Shopee Paylater, has become increasingly popular among university students, potentially affecting their financial stability. This study aims to analyze the influence of financial literacy, financial behavior, and financial risk on the financial stability of active undergraduate Accounting students at Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha who use Shopee Paylater. This research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method and purposive sampling technique involving 100 respondents. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results indicate that financial literacy and financial behavior have a positive and significant effect on students’ financial stability, while financial risk has a negative and significant effect on financial stability. These findings emphasize that good financial literacy and sound financial behavior can promote the creation of financial stability among students, whereas a high level of financial risk tends to reduce that stability. This research is expected to serve as a reference for students in managing their finances wisely in the era of digital financial services.

Abstract

Tax avoidance can be carried out by taxpayers themselves or with the assistance of tax consultants, so tax consultants play a crucial role in facilitating this action. The purpose of this study is to analyze the nature of Machiavellianism on tax avoidance, with religiosity as a moderating variable. The study used a survey of corporate taxpayers in Jakarta. Corporate taxpayers were chosen because, in terms of total Indonesian state revenue, corporate taxpayers contribute significantly more than individual taxpayers. Hypothesis testing used regression analysis with the help of the SmartPLS program. Based on the research findings, Machiavellianism partially influences tax avoidance in Jakarta. On the other hand, the religiosity variable is able to moderate the effect of Machiavellianism on tax avoidance.
