Abstract

Pada umumnya pengeringan di lakukan oleh pemilik penggilingan padi dan petani yaitu dengan pemanfaatan energi panas dari sinar matahari, sehingga proses pengeringan akan terganggu jika panen yang bersamaan dengan musim hujan. Oleh sebab itu diperlukan alat pengering yang menjadi solusi. Alat pengering gabah yang dirancang dan dibuat adalah menggunakan sistim Rotary Dryer dimana gabah yang di masukkan ke dalam ruang pengering yang berputar akan teraduk oleh flight sekaligus diantar sampai ke hopper output. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa  gabah sebanyak 50 kg dengan proses pengeringan pada suhu rata-rata 80  dalam waktu 30 menit dengan berat setelah proses seberat 39 kg. Setelah melalui pengujian di workshop maka selanjutnya alat Pengering tersebut di bawa ke Mitra yaitu komunitas Penggilingan Padi di Kasuarang Kelurahan Allepolea Kecamatan  Lau Kabupaten Maros sekaligus dilakukan pelatihan penggunaan alat tersebut. Para peserta Pelatihan sangat antusias dan begitu tertarik mengikuti Pelatihan karena mereka menyatakan bahwa Limbah sekam mereka yang selama ini tidak dimanfaatkan bahkan cenderung mengganggu maka dengan adanya alat ini maka dapat dimanfaatkan bahkan menjadi solusi akan kebutuhan pengeringan pada saat panen yang bersamaan dengan musim hujan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of partially and simultaneously the level of work discipline and work environment on the performance of employees of PT Bhakti Karya Distribution Indonesia. The benefits of this research for the company as input in managing performance by using work discipline and work environment on employee performance and as consideration for determining the next steps in the employee performance system in the future. The research method used is quantitative associative data, in the form of employees of PT. Bhakti Karya Distribution Indonesia. While the population in this study were all employees of PT. Bhakti Karya Distribution Indonesia, totaling 87 people. The sampling technique in this study uses saturated sampling, it is said to be saturated sample because all members of the population are used as samples. This research uses Instrument Test, Classical Assumption Test. Analysis to see the effect of variables using Linear Regression Analysis, Correlation Analysis, Coefficient of Determination Test and Partial Hypothesis Testing (T Test) and Simultaneous Hypothesis Testing (F Test). The results of this study indicate that partially (T-test) work discipline has a positive effect on employee performance, as evidenced by the results of the calculation of work discipline having a value with a significant probability of 0.002 which is smaller than the predetermined significant level of 0.05, thus Ho is rejected. and Ha accepted. Partially the work environment variable has a positive effect on employee performance, as evidenced by the results of the work environment having a value of 0.002 which is smaller than the predetermined significant level of 0.05, thus Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The Fcount value obtained is 12.606 and the Ftable value is 3.11. So that Fcount > Ftable with a significant probability level of 0.002, which is smaller than the predetermined significant level of 0.05. Thus, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted so that it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between work discipline and work environment simultaneously on employee performance.

Abstract

This study reveals the role of the family in instilling Islamic-based business ethics in children properly by the teachings of Islam. This study adopts the literature study method conducted with integrative literature analysis to obtain comprehensive and in-depth results related to the role of the family in the education of Islamic-based business ethics in children. By combining and synthesizing findings from a variety of relevant literature sources, this method enables a holistic and thorough investigation of this topic. The findings of this study state that families play a key role in shaping Islamic-based business ethics in children, which in turn contributes to the formation of ethical and sustainable business leaders in the future. The influence of the family on the development of children's business ethics covers various aspects, from risk management to stakeholder responsibility, as well as commitment to corporate social responsibility. In this context, the family serves as a role model and teaches children to conduct business with integrity, which will ultimately help create a generation of ethical, sustainable businesses that contribute positively to society and the environment.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of occupational safety and health on work productivity of employees at PT. Cipta Sumina Indah Satresna Samarinda. This study uses two independent variables, namely safety and health with one dependent variable, namely employee productivity. After reviewing the literature and the field and formulating hypotheses, the data in this study were collected through distributing questionnaires to 54 employees at PT. Cipta Sumina Indah Satresna as the research sample. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The data analysis method used is quantitative analysis, namely validity, reliability, multiple linear regression analysis, f test, t test, and coefficient of determination. From the results of the analysis of the discussion carried out by the author, the results of the study show that the indicators in this study are valid and reliable. Abstract

Waqf has a great conribution, especially when Islam began to develop, without waqf the development of muslims would be more difficult. Waqf is now the door of Islamic economy which is a potential alternative, when it is developed and managed properly, it can accelerate economic growth which ultimately is able to prosper the people. This study aims to analyze the mechanism of the productive waqf management strategy on waqf land in improving the welfare of the community in East Lombok. The research used the descriptive method with qualitative analysis and data were collected through interviews, observation and documentation. The secondary data collected from documents and texts related to the research topic, be it books, articles  journals, or others. The results showed that the productive waqf management strategy on waqf land in East Lombok is through planning objectives, forming a productive waqf management team, fulfilling infrastructure, conducting supervision and evaluation. To empower existing of waqf land, it needs to be managed and productive according to the condition of land, so that the waqf object itself provides benefits and can be improve the welfare of the people. In other words, the more waqf land, the more prosperous the community. The more professional the waqf management nadzir, the more prosperous the community and the greater the level of community economic capacity, the higher level of community welfare.

Abstract

The tourism industry plays a significant role in Indonesia's economy, particularly in regions with strong tourism potential. One notable cultural tourism destination in Jakarta is Kampung Betawi Setu Babakan, renowned for its unique Betawi cultural heritage. The area showcases diverse local wisdom, including Betawi architecture, cuisine, arts, and traditions, which hold considerable potential for integration into tourism development. Enhancing the career development of tourism employees at Kampung Betawi Setu Babakan is crucial to sustaining service quality and maintaining the destination’s appeal. This study aims to: (1) analyze current career development practices for tourism employees in Kampung Betawi Setu Babakan; (2) identify Betawi local wisdom that can be incorporated into employee career development; and (3) propose a career development model grounded in Betawi local wisdom. Employing a case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and document analysis. Findings reveal that career development practices in Kampung Betawi Setu Babakan remain suboptimal and lack integration of Betawi local wisdom. Key elements of Betawi culture, such as traditional architecture, culinary arts, and performing arts, were identified as potential resources for employee career development. The study formulates a career development model incorporating these cultural elements, featuring local wisdom-based training, culturally aligned career pathways, and a remuneration system that values contributions to cultural preservation. The proposed model offers managerial implications for improving service quality, enhancing destination competitiveness, and ensuring the sustainability of Betawi cultural heritage.

Abstract

Construction projects require good planning, implementation and control to run according to what is expected, including projects that will be carried out by engineers on CV. Maltitah Indah is a service provider company engaged in the general contractor or project implementer located in the city of Makassar, South Sulawesi Province. The purpose of this community service program is to provide education and hands-on practice in the form of training in the form of construction project scheduling training using the Microsoft Project application which aims to improve the quality and soft skills of the workforce, especially engineering personnel, to make project scheduling more practical and can prevent project delays. The implementation method starts from the preparation stage, training stage and evaluation stage to determine the level of understanding, response, and assessment of the success rate of the implementation of the activity. The results of the implementation of this training can increase the understanding of participants who initially did not know how to make project scheduling using the Microsoft Project application and after the training seen from the total number of all participants after the training (post-test), namely, as many as 83.33% understood how to use it and the benefits of the software while as many as 16.67% of participants understood the use of software but were not able to elaborate on the benefits obtained.

Abstract

Abstrak UMKM memiliki peran strategis dalam meningkatkan perekonomian melalui penyerapan tenaga kerja dan peningkatan daya saing produk melalui legalitas. Sertifikasi halal menjadi kebutuhan penting dalam memberikan kepercayaan dan perlindungan konsumen sekaligus membuka peluang besar bagi UMKM menembus pasar internasional. Tingginya peluang pasar halal tidak sebanding dengan kenyataan dilapangan, ditemukan masih banyak UMKM yang belum tersertifikasi karena kurang informasi, minim kesadaran, dan belum memahami prosedur pengajuan. Pengabdian ini menggunakan metode PAR (Participatory Action Research) dengan langkah persiapan, sosialisasi, pendampingan pengajuan sertifikasi halal, dan evaluasi untuk meningkatkan daya saing UMKM. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah meningkatkan pemahaman UMKM tentang sertifikasi halal, mendukung legalitas produk, dan memperkuat daya saing di pasar. Tujuan kegiatan ini mendorong UMKM proaktif memastikan standar halal, menciptakan peluang pasar, dan mendukung ekonomi halal berkelanjutan. Hasil menunjukkan UMKM memahami pentingnya label halal dalam memberikan perlindungan konsumen dan meningkatkan kepercayaan, mampu mengidentifikasi bahan baku serta proses produksi yang sesuai standar halal, dan menyadari bahwa sertifikasi halal dapat memperkuat daya saing produk mereka. Implikasinya, UMKM menjadi lebih proaktif menjaga standar halal, memperluas akses pasar, dan mendukung keberlanjutan ekonomi halal di tingkat lokal maupun global. Kata kunci: sosialisasi; pendampingan; sertifikasi halal; daya saing UMKM Abstract MSMEs have a strategic role in improving the economy through workforce absorption and increasing product competitiveness through legality. Halal certification is an important need in providing consumer trust and protection while opening up great opportunities for MSMEs to penetrate the international market. The high halal market opportunities are not comparable to the reality in the field, it was found that there are still many MSMEs that have not been certified due to lack of information, minimal awareness, and do not understand the application procedure. This service uses the PAR (Participatory Action Research) method with preparation steps, socialization, assistance in submitting halal certification, and evaluation to increase the competitiveness of MSMEs. The purpose of this service is to increase MSMEs' understanding of halal certification, support product legality, and strengthen competitiveness in the market. The purpose of this activity is to encourage MSMEs to be proactive in ensuring halal standards, creating market opportunities, and supporting a sustainable halal economy. The results show that MSMEs understand the importance of halal labels in providing consumer protection and increasing trust, are able to identify raw materials and production processes that comply with halal standards, and realize that halal certification can strengthen the competitiveness of their products. The implication is that MSMEs become more proactive in maintaining halal standards, expanding market access, and supporting the sustainability of the halal economy at the local and global levels. Keywords: socialization; mentoring; halal certification; competitiveness of MSMEs

Abstract

Environmental pollution (pollutants) can be caused by natural events or human care through uncontrolled industrial and technological activities, this can be a threat to living things including humans in the future. This phenomenon is caused by the entry of particles or chemical substances that do not exist in the natural component so that it exceeds the amount that should be. Pollution is the inclusion of substances, energy and aliens into the environment so that the quality of the environment decreases and no longer suitable allocation. Efforts to reduce or control environmental pollution that some environmental scientists and practitioners have done in a better way by the structures produced by various industries and technologies that are seen as backbones. The research installation can provide detailed information about the shape and structure of the current in the pipe (analogized as the exhaust) in the direction and the vertical velocity to air will be inhaled by the fluid of the liquid (air) as motive fluid in the opposite direction. The suction strength of the liquid against the airflow is greatly determined by the vacuum pressure in the chamber because of the effect of the working ejector that is geometrically formed so that the image can be adjusted to that achievement. The parameters used to measure performance in the design of this air-contaminating air-conditioning installation plant are composed of several variables in the ratio of changes between air velocity and liquid flow in opposite directions, vacuum compressions are formed large enough, the fluid flow capacity of the ejector, revascular and the ability to transform gas pollutants into liquid pollutants.
