Abstract

Kecamatan Gunungpati adalah salah satu Kecamatan di Kota Semarang yang terletak berdekatan dengan Gunung Ungaran Kabupaten Semarang di ketinggian 259 meter dengan curah hujan rata-rata 1,853 mm/bulan sehingga udaranya relatif sejuk karena tanahnya berada pada posisi yang  tinggi. Topografi permukaan tanahnya bergelombang dan terdapat tanah curam/jurang pada beberapa lokasi. Sebagian besar tanahnya berwarna merah menandakan kesuburan sehingga sangat cocok untuk pertumbuhan berbagai macam tanaman dan buah-buahan. Luas wilayah kecamatan Gunung Pati adalah 5.399.085 ha  Terdiri dari 16 kelurahan dengan 97 RW dan 501 RT. Salah satu kelurahan di kecamatan tersebut, yaitu Pongangan merupakan sebagian besar lahannya adalah lahan kering, hasil tanaman masyarakatnya menghasilkan komoditas diantaranya adalah ketela pohon, yang akan kami jadikan pokok bahasan pada tim pengabdian kami. Kegiatan sudah dilaksanakan pada tanggal 15 Oktober 2023, dengan peserta sejumlah 39 orang. Mereka sangat antusias mengikuti kegiatan tersebut. Kegiatan pengadian yang kami lakukan di wilayah tersebut adalah dengan melakukan sosialisasi tentang kewirausahaan, memberikan motivasi kepada ibu – ibu untuk melakukan suatu usaha untuk memperoleh pendapatan tambahan dengan memanfaatkan komoditas lokal diantaranya inovasi olahan ketela pohon. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakan adalah untuk memberikan sosialisasi dengan memberdayakan ibu-ibu PKK dan kelompok wanita tani dalam upaya menumbuhkan minat  berwirausaha di Kelurahan Pongangan Kecamatan Gunung Pati Kota Semarang. Adapun target luaran dari pengabdian ini akan kami publikasikan pada jurnal nasional,HKI berupa youtube dan melalui media massa.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyse how the influence of work environment and organisational culture on employee productivity at PT Maju Bersama Gemilang, with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were all employees of the production department. The sampling technique used probability sampling as many as 76 employees as respondents in this study. The data processing method uses SPSS software. The data analysis tool used in this study is multiple linear regression. The results of this research indicate that the work environment has a significant effect on employee productivity. The results of the regression equation show that the work environment has a positive influence on employee productivity. The results of the calculation of organisational culture have a significant effect on employee work productivity. The results of the regression equation show that organisational culture has a positive influence on employee work productivity.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah: 1) Memberikan motivasi dan menambah pengetahuan berwirausaha dan menjadikan alternatif sumber pendapatan tambahan untuk keluarga melalui sosialisasi. 2) Memberikan ketrampilan pengetahuan kepada ibu ibu PKK di wilayah RT 05 RW XX Kelurahan Tlogosari Kulon tentang bagaimana cara membuat berbagai olahan dengan bahan dasar jagung dengan melakukan demonstasi pembuatan produk. Program PKM dilaksanakan di Balai PKK RT di Wilayah Kelurahan Tlogosari Kulon Semarang, Metode yang dipakai adalah sosialisasi melalui kegiatan dalam beberapa tahapan, meliputi : Tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Hasil evaluasi berdasarkan hasil kuesioner yang telah diisi oleh peserta bahwa respon sebagian besar dari pendapat mereka Hasil kuesioner yang telah diisi oleh peserta adalah bahwa respon sebagian besar dari pendapat mereka antara lain : berminat untuk melakukan usaha dan inovasi olahan jagung, mendapatkan manfaat dan pengetahuan baru dan menginginkan sosialisasi lagi tentang bagaimana memasarkan produk.Kata Kunci: Pemberdayaan, jagung, pendapatan, kewirausahaan, ketrampilan

Abstract

This study aimed to determine how digital marketing strategies are implemented at XXX Bakery in Semarang City and to identify obstacles, solutions, and existing problems. This study employed a qualitative method with a case study approach, conducted through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation with the XXX Bakery in Semarang City. Data source and data collection were tested for data credibility. Seven participants were used as data sources for the in-depth interviews. The results showed that XXX Bakery in Semarang City implemented its digital marketing strategy through social media platforms like WhatsApp and Instagram, employing the 4P marketing mix: Product, Place, Price, and Promotion. This study identified challenges such as competition and slow order delivery. The solution to these problems was maintaining bread quality and offering attractive promotions. Delays in delivery were addressed by adding dedicated staff and providing time estimates.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of work experience and compensation on employee performance in state-owned enterprises (SOEs). A quantitative approach with regression analysis was employed, involving 110 respondents selected using a purposive sampling technique. Respondents were SOE employees with at least five years of service, who provided data through questionnaires. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The findings indicate that both work experience and compensation significantly affect employee performance. These results can serve as a reference for management to identify key factors influencing employee performance, supporting the achievement of organizational goals.

Abstract

Numerous studies have shown that urban agriculture makes substantial contributions to poverty reduction, reduces unemployment, and improves food security. Unfortunately, research on the profitability and economic viability of urban agriculture remains limited. This research aims to explore the economic viability of community gardens as a form of urban agriculture in Semarang City, Indonesia. Semarang city was chosen due to its active implementation of urban farming programs initiated by the municipal government. The research employed a qualitative approach involving 24 participants spread across all sub-districts in Semarang. Data were collected through questionnaires, in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. Thematic was applied to explore the research findings with the help of NVivo 12 Pro software. The findings indicate that most community gardens operate at a financial loss, showing weak economic viability. Even so, they continue to function sustainably, driven not by profit but by government programs, social cohesion, and environmental concern. This reveals a paradox: community gardens may not generate a profit, yet they remain socially sustainable – sustained more by policy than by market forces. These findings suggest that their sustainability relies more on institutional and communal support than on profit generation. Strengthening government facilitation and community empowerment is essential to ensure their long-term continuity.
