Abstract

This research is motivated by the difficulty of students in the difficulty of the form of change in behavior and the functions contained in the te imasu verb. This study aims to study the understanding of the function of doushi te Imasu III level students in 2016, the Japanese language education program in Padang State University in full in accordance with the composition included in it. This research was conducted in the Japanese language study program at Padang State University in November 2018.            This research method is a quantitative method and this type of research is descriptive. The population and sample in this study were the third year students entering the 2016 Japanese language study program in Padang State University as many as 29 students.            Based on the results of data analysis that has been completed on, it can be summarized as follows. First, the ability and ability of level III students to enter 2016 with an average score of 77.9. Second, from the three indicators that have been tested, it is undeniable that the strongest ability of student doushi te imasu is in accordance with the function of shinkouchuu with an average value of 84.13. While the ability of student doushi te imasu is protected from shuukan function with an average score of 72.75. Third, the strongest Shinkouchuu function on the second indicator with an average value of 93.96. Fourth, the strongest function is on the third indicator with an average value of 78.44. Fifth, the function of kekkazanzon is strongest in the third indicator. Third, the ability of doushi and imasu of students is categorized as good. Even so, a small mistake made by most students is smaller than the intransitive and transitive relationship from the context of the question. In addition, students are still less thorough and less careful in answering questions and can question the questions in accordance with the intent and answers.Keywords: Ability, understanding, doushi, te imasu.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui fungsi dan makna youda bahasa Jepang dalam novel Daremo Shiranai Chiisana Kuni karya Satou Satoru. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan metode analisis deskriptif. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kalimat yang mengandung unsur youda di dalam novel Daremo Shiranai Chiisana Kuni karya Satou Satoru yang terdiri dari bagian 1 sampai 5 yang terdiri dari 218 halaman.  Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui fungsi youda terdiri dari hikyou, suiryou dan enkyou Jodooshi youda terbagi tiga yaitu, pertama ~youda sebagai hikyou (比況), digunakan untuk mengungkapkan sesuatu dengan perumpamaan yang menyerupainya, biasanya menggunakan idiom. Kedua, ~youda sebagai suiryou (推量), digunakan untuk memperkirakan sesuatu berdasarkan fakta atau berdasarkan apa yang dirasakan oleh pembicara melalui observasi. Ketiga, ~youda sebagai enkyou (婉曲), digunakan ketika pembicara mengungkapkan perkiraannya secara tidak langsung atau tidak secara terang-terangan. Fungsi yang dominan adalah fungsi youda sebagai suiryou. Terakhir makna yang diteliti adalah makna semantik atau makna kalimat (bun no imi) yang terdapat youda. Kata kunci: fungsi,  kalimat, makna, youda,

Abstract

This research is motivated by the difficulty of students in identifying the chouon (long vocal) found in goi (words). This study aims to determine the listening ability of students class X of laboratorium pembangunan UNP senior high school, school year 2018/2019, in listening goi containing chouon in more detail in accordance with the curriculum applied in the school. This study conducted in December 2018.This is a quantitative study with descriptive method. The population of this study is the students class X of laboratorium Pembangunan UNP senior high school, school year 2018/2019. The sample of this study is 25 students’ of class X MIA of laboratorium pembangunan UNP senior high school. Purposive sample technique used in sampling. The data in this study is the students score rest of listening ability of goi containing chouon.The study shows that the listening ability of goi containing chouon ii,uu,ei,dan ou has diverse score. The highest score of student listening ability is chouon ei with an average score of 74 and the lowest score in chouon uu with an average score of 40. In general, students’ listening ability is still in bad qualification and still in the passive-receptive rather than active-productive stage. It shows that students’ listening ability is only a knowledge not an ability.                                                                                               Keywords : ability, listening, goi, chouon, purposive sample.

Abstract

This study discussed the students ability of modifiying doushi class XII IPS 1 SMA PGRI 4 Padang. The purpose of this study is to find out how to modify  doushi ability. This type of research is quantitative research with descriptive methods. The total population were 120 students. The sample in this research was class XII IPS 1 SMA PGRI 4 Padang in total 32 students who were determined by using proposive sampling technique. The data of this research was the score of modified Doushi test results . Based on the results of the research tests carried out , the following points can be concluded. First, the modification ability of doushi students of class XII IPS 1 at SMA PGRI 4 Padang with an average score of 50,20. Second, from the three indicators tested, it can be concluded that the ability of doushi students of class XII IPS 1 in SMA PGRI 4 Padang did not have the strongest indicator, because in the three indicators there were almost the same average scores on indicator I (identifying doushi in the form of ー た past form ) with an average value of 50.93 and for indicator II (Identifying doushi in the form ―ていますongoing form ) with an average value of 44.43. Third ( identifying doushi in the form―ます the form will be) with the value i averaging 55,37.The four is  doushi abilities included in the classification class are lacking.Keyword: Ability, Modify Doushi

Abstract

AbstractThis research is a quantitative experimental research. The purpose of this study is to find out about the effect of using comic strip to the 12th grader Student’s writing ability of Japanese transactional text at SMA PGRI 3 Padang. By using random sampling method, the population of this study is the 12th grader student at SMA PGRI 3 Padang school year 2018/2019.There are some indicators in order to achieve the objectives of this research, they are (1) find out how student's writing ability in Japanese transactional text without using comic strip media. (2) find out how student's writing ability in Japanese transactional text with using comic strip media. (3) find out that using comic strip has any effect to student’s writing ability in Japanese transactional text. The results of this research is the Japanese transactional text writing ability of experiment group is qualifying as ‘very good’ with an average 91,32. In other hand, the Japanese transactional text writing ability of control group is qualifying as ‘more than enough’ with an average 73,07. The Result of uji-t, can be concluded a hypothesis (H1) aceptablea in signification 5%  because Thitung > Ttabel (34,43> 2,02). In other words, usage comic strip has significant effect to the 12th grader Student’s writing ability of Japanese transactional text at SMA PGRI 3 Padang. So, it can be concluded that the Japanese transactional text writing ability of experiment group with comic strip media is ‘better’ than the control group without comic strip media. In other words, the usage of comic strip media is effective to student's writing ability in Japanese transactional text. Keywords: Transactional text, comic strip

Abstract

Abstract       The purpose of this research is to knowing ability of student of class X at SMA PGRI 2 padang about using joshi –kara and –made in sentence. Kind of this research is kuantitatif research, with descriptive method. Populasion in this research is students of class X at SMA PGRI 2 Padang. Total population is 165 students. using random sampling technic to choosed the sample, that 28 students of class X1. This research use the testing instrument, that double selection test and sentence compliting test. The goal of this research is how ability of students of class X at SMA PGRI 2 padang about using joshi –kara and –made in sentence. Crop of this research is ability of students of class X at SMA PGRI 2 padang about joshi –kara is better than using joshi –made or  joshi –kara and –made, becausing students know about using the word before joshi –kara and the function in great sentence. In the other way, students ability is low in using joshi –made. Because, students less in understanding to using joshi –made in great sentence gramaticaly. Student highest result of rank in identify indicator of joshi –kara, -made or –kara and –made in sentence is 100, with lowest rank 33. And average rank is 67,3. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana fungsi joshi ga dalam dongeng Momotaro karya Matsui Tadashi. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori fungsi joshi ga. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan langkah-langkah sebagai berikut: (1) menyatakan subjek , (2) menyatakan objek, (3) memberikan penjelasan tambahan bagi subjek, (4) menggabungkan dua bagian kalimat, menyatakan bahwa bagian kalimat yang ada sebelumnya merupakan ungkapan penjelasan, tambahan atau pengantar bagi kalimat berikutnya, (5) menggabungkan dua bagian kalimat yang tidak sepadan dan berlawanan, (6) dipakai di akhir kalimat untuk menghentikan pembicaran.Fungsi joshi ga yang terdapat dalam buku teori terbagi menjadi enam fungsi. Berdasarkan analisis data yang dilakukan, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa terdapat lima fungsi yang digunakan dalam dongeng Momotaro karya Matsui Tadashi.Dari hasil penelitian di atas dapat di simpulkan bahwa fungsi joshi ni yang berfungsi menyatakan subjek terbanyak yaitu 18 kalimat, dan fungsi yang paling sedikit adalah fungsi memberikan penjelasan tambahan bagi subjek yaitu 1 kalimat dan dipakai di akhir kalimat untuk menghentikan pembicaran. Fungsi yang tidak ditemukan adalah fungsi joshi ga menggabungkan dua bagian kalimat yang tidak sepadan dan berlawanan dikarenakan banyak kalimat yang setara di dalam dongeng tersebut. Ditemui dalam dongeng ini bahwa ditemukan banyak kalimat majemuk oleh karena itu fungsi yang banyak terdapat di dalam dongeng ini ialah menyatakan subjek di dalam kalimatnya.  Kata kunci: Analisis, joshi ga
