Abstract

Environmental concerns globally, encompassing issues like pollution, global warming, and ozone depletion, highlight the urgency for sustainability measures. Within the realm of green initiatives, understanding remanufactured products emerges as a facet of environmental literacy. This research addresses prior inconsistencies by examining mediating factors specifically, the impact of value consciousness and awareness of green products on the inclination to buy remanufactured goods. Collected data through distributing 270 questionnaires which is a sample of data from the entire population of Bali province, Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) via AMOS software version 23 was employed for analysis. Findings indicate the pivotal roles of green knowledge of remanufactured products, value consciousness, and awareness in shaping the purchase intention to eco-friendly items. Consequently, this study bears implications for companies aiming to advance sustainable products, and it offers insights for policymakers and industry stakeholders to formulate strategies that foster consumer awareness and green product development.

Abstract

This paper analyzes the effect of renewable energy on carbon emissions in the BRICS countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa) from 1990 to 2020. Using the PMG panel ARDL approach to estimate the model. The findings indicate that renewable energy positively reduces carbon emissions in both the short and long run. However, industrialization and economic growth have a negative effect on carbon emissions reduction in both the short and long run. These results demonstrate the positive impact of renewable energies in reducing carbon emissions in BRICS countries. The study recommends that these countries promote renewable energies to meet their energy needs and reduce carbon emissions.

Abstract

The development of connectivity infrastructure, particularly toll roads, is planned to continue expanding and reach 3,500 km by 2030. This signifies a positive outlook for the construction industry. This research conducted to analyse the management of post tension raw materials and determine the optimal policies using the discrete-event simulation method. Simulation scenarios were developed using the Arena application, taking into consideration the demand patterns for post tension work. The validation test results confirmed the capability of the base case model in accurately representing real-world conditions. Scenario development was carried out to influence the strand inventory pattern by incorporating reorder points and adjusting order sizes. Based on the scenario analysis, the most effective approach was found to be setting a reorder point of 3 tons and an order size of 5 tons. The implementation of this analysis successfully reduced the strand inventory by 58.78%. This research enables companies to optimize their inventory, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency. The findings contribute to the development of strategies that support sustainable growth in connectivity infrastructure in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of financing diversification, which includes six financing contracts of Islamic banks in Indonesia and financial performance on credit risk represented by NPF in Islamic commercial banks using regression panel data in 2018-2022. The results of this study indicate that there is an insignificant positive influence on financing diversification and financial performance partially on credit risk in Islamic banking in Indonesia. However, financing diversification and financial performance together have a significant influence on credit risk, which is currently a concern of the Islamic bank financial services authority in Indonesia. The financial performance measurement indicators in this study only focus on ROA, and this indicator may have limitations in measuring the financial performance of Islamic banking.
