Abstract

Background: Morbus Hansen (MH) is a chronic infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium leprae. Diagnosis of MH was established based on cardinal signs on clinical examination, AFB examination on ear lobe serum and histopathological examinations. Children with single lesion MH (AFB negative) without any neurological complaints are treated with single dose of Rifampicin-Ofloxacin-Minocycline (ROM) combination therapy. This case was reported because of the rarity of children MH and the importance of early diagnosis to avoid disability risks. Case: A 12-year-old boy with single lesion borderline-borderline (BB) paucibacillary MH presented with white-reddish patch on cheeks that getting wider since 2 years ago. Dermatological status obtained in left maxila region showed hypopigmented and hyperpigmented patch with erythematous base, solitary, well defined, 0.5x1.5 cm in size with central clearing forming a punched out lesion. Bacteriological and histopathological examinations with Hematoxylin-Eosin and Fite-Faraco staining showed AFB negative result, but serological examination of anti-PGL-1 antibodies showed high titers (IgM=845 u/ml, IgG=1004 u/ml). The patient was given single dose of Rifampicin 450mg, Ofloxacin 400mg, Minocycline 100mg (ROM) and atopiclair® lotion applied to the lesion twice a day. Evaluation on the third week showed improvement with disappearance of redness and punched out lesion. Discussion: Patient in this case is a rare incident because it occured in children with no contact history and had never lived in MH endemic area. Because of Mycobacterium leprae’s transmission route is still not known, other factors such as genetics, immunity, environmental conditions and non-human vectors need more attention in breaking the chain of MH transmission.

Abstract

Indonesia's economic growth in 2022 is 5.31%, more significant than pre-Covid 19. One of the reasons is an export performance that grows quite well. In 2022, Indonesia's trade balance amounted to USD 54.46 billion, the highest surplus in history. Indonesia's non-oil and gas exports are one of the national development priorities to encourage the optimization of state revenues. Indonesia's non-oil and gas exports in 2022 reached USD275.96 billion, an increase of 25.80% compared to the previous year. This study aims to analyze the effect of economic growth, exchange rates, and inflation on the value of non-oil and gas exports in Indonesia. This study is an associative quantitative study. The data used in this research is secondary data in the form of time series data from 1970-2021. The data were analyzed using the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM). Based on the results of the study, long-term growth has a positive and significant effect on the value of Indonesia's non-oil and gas exports. In contrast, exchange rates and inflation negatively and significantly affect the value of Indonesia's non-oil and gas exports. The results show that economic growth, exchange rates, and inflation do not significantly affect the value of Indonesia's non-oil and gas exports in the short term. The government needs to maintain the stability of macroeconomic indicators in order to increase the value of non-oil and gas exports and maintain non-oil and gas export commodities. The government must also be aware of the risk of non-oil and gas export demand from trading partner countries so far and develop non-oil and gas exports to countries other than their trading partners.

Abstract

Performance is measured to determine the extent to which goals are realized so that management can act quickly in making decisions. The performance measure for each agency is a key performance indicator (KPI). The research was conducted using the CRISP-DM (Cross Industry Standard Process Model for Data Mining) methodology. Data is collected on Twitter by taking Opinion Tweets using KPI (Key Performance Indicator) and will be analyzed using RapidMiner with the Naive Bayes algorithm and Support Vector Machine (SVM). The research results obtained accuracy using the SVM algorithm with SMOTE showing a result of 72.32% higher than the Naïve Bayes algorithm which obtained a result of 60.95%. The AUC of the Naïve Bayes algorithm with SMOTE is 0.875 and the AUC of the Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm with SMOTE is 0.772. From these results it can be seen that the SVM algorithm will predict better than the Naïve Bayes algorithm in this study to analyze sentiment in the use of KPI (Key Performance Indicator) functions.

Abstract

Promotion of a product/service in the right way needs to be done in order to attract the attention of consumers. One of the most effective ways of promotion in this era is through endorsements. Endorsement is an activity in which business actors collaborate with public figures to promote their products on social media. However, endorsement activities must of course be accompanied by responsibilities by the endorser in order to create consumer protection. The position of endorsers in Indonesia based on the ITE Law is equivalent to that of senders/manufacturers, then based on the Consumer Protection Law it is equivalent to business actors. Furthermore, the responsibility of the endorser in Indonesia under the ITE Law is the same as that of the sender/producer, then the responsibility of the endorser under the Consumer Protection Act is the same as that of business actors. Endorsers are responsible for all information they distribute to promote a product/service through their social media.
