Abstract

The implementation of marriage requires the fulfillment of the conditions and basic pillars. One of the pillars of marriage is the marriage guardian. Basically, the obligatory guardian in the marriage process is a guardian in one lineage, namely the biological father of his daughter/another ashabah (relative) from the father's side. The purpose of this study is to find out how the Toboino Village community views the guardian's representative in the marriage ceremony and to find out the implications of this view for the guardian's representative in the marriage contract. Based on the analysis carried out, it was concluded that the general public's view of the guardian's representative in the marriage contract is valid because the delegation of guardians is a form of mutual cooperation (mutual help) to people who are less fortunate in several aspects to marry off their daughters. This is due to limited knowledge of religious terms, hesitation in marrying off their daughters, and upholding religious knowledge from the priests more, it is the customary culture of the people of Toboino Village to represent guardians in marriage contracts.

Service Quality is an important asset for higher education institutions, because this Service Quality can have the most important impact on service recipient satisfaction, and finally if service satisfaction occurs repeatedly, customer loyalty or customer satisfaction is formed (Tjiptono, 2008). The implementation of Service Quality by the right service provider (fronliner) will be able to provide satisfaction. Therefore, there is a need for Emotional Intelligent training to improve Service Quality at the frontliner of one of the private universities in Surabaya. Participants in the "Excellence Service are Excellence People" training totaled 28 frontline staff employees. Based on research conducted Emotional Intelligent training to improve Service Quality has a significant influence with results that show that from the results of paired T testing, significance values are obtained which show that there is a difference between emotional intelligence before and after training or it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between emotional intelligence before training and after training. In addition, the results of paired T tests on Service Quality also showed a significance value of 0.000 where the significant value was less than alpha 0.05. Which means that there is a difference between the quality of service before and after training or it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between the quality of service before training and after training. So that the conclusion is that emotional intelligence training significantly has an increasing impact on EI and an increase in service quality.

Abstract

The Men Brayut myth is one of the myths that developed in Balinese society. The myth of Men Brayut is interesting to study because it is able to build suggestions to society in relation to having children. In general, the tendency of the Men Brayut myth is manifested in the form of a statue of a woman and only her children, however, in Singapadu Kaler Village, there is also a statue of a man surrounded by his children and the surrounding community is said to be a statue of Pan Brayut. This is the main attraction for the author to conduct a deeper study of the myth of Men Brayut in Singapadu Kaler Village with a focus on the meaning of society in relation to the contemporary context. Analysis of the problem uses Mythology Theory, Power and Knowledge Theory, Deconstruction Theory and Semiotic Theory. The research method applied is a qualitative method. Data were collected through observation techniques, interviews and documentation studies, then analyzed descriptively qualitatively and interpretively starting with data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that the meaning that emerges is an indicator that the myth of Men Brayut is a reflection for the next generation to understand the existence of oral tradition as social control in society. This was intended so that the oral tradition, especially the myth of Men Brayut, as one of the cultural heritages, would not become extinct due to the strong currents of modernization. The existence of the Men Brayut myth in Singapadu Kaler Village in the contemporary context is also one of the potentials that can be developed as a tourist attraction that can become a source of community income through the packaging of myths in handicrafts as an implementation of the development of the creative economy sector.

Abstract

Background : Bacterial vaginosis (BV) is an infection caused by an imbalance in the amount of normal vaginal flora and pathogenic bacteria. Vulvovaginal candidiasis (VVC) is an infection of candida in the vagina and vulva. Bacterial vaginosisis often accompanied by co-infection of VVC, it is caused by a reduction in the enzyme hydrogen peroxidase (H2O2) which can reduce the ability of leukocytes to fight infections, resulting in co-infection with other pathogens such as Candida sp. Factors that influence VB with co-infection of VVC include lack of hygiene, changing partners, the use of contraceptives in the uterus, the use of antiseptics with fragrances and other diseases such as diabetes mellitus. Case: A 40-year-old woman complaints of vaginal discharge since 3 months, white-gray vaginal discharge, fishy smell, no itching, and no pain during sexual intercourse. Physical examination revealed the presence of vulvar erythema, yellowish white discharge on the vaginal wall and portio cervicalis. Examination of 10% KOH showed the presence of pseudohyphae. Gram examination showed polymorphonuclear cells >50 per large field of view, gram negative rods 75-100 per large field of view, and clue cells >50%. The patient was given metronidazole 500 mg tablet twice a day for 14 days and fluconazole 150 mg single dose. Clinical and laboratory improvement was found on day 7 and recovered on day 14 after administration of therapy. Discussion: Bacterial vaginosis is an infection caused by the growth of anaerobic organisms that causes high morbidity due to their recurrence rate. This infection is often accompanied by a fungal infection such as kandidiasis vulvovaginalis caused by bad hygiene and increased humidity in genital area. The exact diagnosis of VB along with VVC is based on clinical symptoms, microscopic examination and culture. Antibiotics and antifungal drugs are the mainstay therapies for VB with co-infection of VVC.

Abstract

The kingdom of God that Jesus proclaimed during his lifetime became the core of the church's message. Since its inception, the church has had the task of proclaiming the Kingdom of God. Efforts to develop the Kingdom of God carried out by the church involve all levels, groups and classes in the church structure. The church as an organization has its own structure. Within it there are so-called hierarchies, monks/nuns and laity. The church is a community of believers, who believe in Christ who is God. This community of believers was formed by Christ himself through the preaching, work and promise of salvation that he proclaimed to every human being. This community contains both divine and human meanings. The divine meaning of this community is a work of the Holy Spirit who provides impetus, a spirit that lives as an organism that continues to develop because of the power of God's own Spirit. Meanwhile, the human meaning lies in human involvement in their free will to develop this community. The role of humans makes this community have a human character. The human character of the Church is shown by the presence of the church as an organization that has a neat and clear structure. The laity in the Catholic Church community constitute the largest number apart from clergy and monks/nuns. With a large number, the laity becomes a very strategic force in order to develop the Catholic church community. This power was really felt in the development of the church from the beginning. The church community as a community of bearers of the good news about the Kingdom of God that was proclaimed by Jesus during his lifetime mostly consists of lay people. However, the formation process as an integral opportunity for the formation of strong lay people has not been taken seriously compared to the formation process for clergy and monks/nuns.
