<![CDATA[This study aims to determine whether the implementation of inquiry based learning is able to increase the student activity and learning outcomes of X TKRO 3 class at SMKN 2 Yogyakarta in Automotive Basic Engineering Subjects. This study is a Classroom Action Research using the Kemmis Mc Taggart design. Kemmis Mc Taggart's design includes the stages of planning, action observation, and reflection. The study subjects were X TKRO 3 class of SMKN 2 Yogyakarta 2018/2019 academic year totaling 32 students. Data collection techniques using the method of observation and test results. Data analysis used quantitative descriptive analysis. This is indicated by student learning activeness data of 60.71% in the first cycle and 62.67% in the second cycle. For student learning outcomes data, indicated by the class average value of 77,48 with the percentage of learning completeness of 85,2% in the first cycle and the class average of 91.56 with the percentage of learning completeness of 93,5% in the second cycle.]]>

<![CDATA[ The purpose of this research is to find the implementation of improved character education (PPK) at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Mertoyudan. The indicator in this research include planning, carrying out, and evaluating a PPK Program at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Mertoyudan. This research is a case study with a quantitative descriptive method approach. The study shows the implementation of improved character education in SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Mertoyudan a good category with a 76,26% amount of application. The results include some indicator of a 79,97% PPK plan, 77,41% implementation of PPK, and 71,59% evaluation. In the process of planning the PPK program involves all the school equipment. For performance of the PPK through the learning process, extracurricular activities, and the school’s example of this it. The high point of attachment in the PPK on learners of 76,54% in both categories. The PPK evaluation process whole school kit took part and follow up corrected some of the missing components.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to know the feasibility and the effectiveness of media equipment installation of car audio system use of props to students in Mechanical engineering Department of Semarang State University. This research is a type of research R D. The subject of this study is a student with a total of 60 people divided into 2 classes namely the control class and the experimental class. The object of this research is the medium of audio system installation props. The results of the media test percentage assessment amounted to 88% and the presentation of the material test amounted to 78%, both obtained very decent criteria. The average increase of experimental class learning results was 77.33, while the control class was only 71.47. T test result for post-test value obtained 3.40. The results of the N-gain test calculation obtained an average gain of 0.298 for the control class with a low increase and 0.404 for the experimental class with a moderate increase. The results proved that the installation equipment Media Car audio system is an effective medium to be used as a learning medium. ]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the increase in motivation and learning result of class XI OD at YAPPI Wonosari Vocational High School on light vehicle engine maintenance study through the implementation of a problem based learning model. This research is a classroom action research using the Kemmis and Taggert designs carried out in two cycles. This research was conducted at YAPPI Wonosari Vocational High School with the subject of research is class XI OD. The data collection techniques used are tests and questionnaires. Analysis of the data used is descriptive quantitative data analysis. This research was successful so that the cycle can be stopped if there is an increase in motivation and learning result from cycle one to the next cycle, learning outcomes of 75% of students are able to meet minimum completeness criteri of 75 and 75% of students get motivation values above 75 The results of the study showed that motivation and learning result increased after the use of problem based learning models. This is evidenced by the increase in learning result and learning motivation. The learning results in cycle 1 increased from 77 to 82.96 with a percentage of completeness of 62.96% and in cycle 2 it increased from 82.96 to 88.19 with the percentage of completeness 88.88%. Students learning motivation in cycle 1 increased from 74.72 to 77.04 with the percentage of students who got motivation scores above 75 by 55.56% and in cycle 2 it increased from 77.04 to 79.63 with the percentage of students who got motivation scores above 75 by 77.77%]]>

<![CDATA[The Community Service Program (PPM) at SMKN 3 Yogyakarta aims to (1) increase the motivation of teachers to conduct action research and write papers, (2) increase teachers’ ability to select and use appropriate learning methods and media to conduct classroom action research, (3) increase the competence of vocational school teachers in writing scientific papers, (4) increase teachers’ knowledge in accessing scientific journals and conference to publish their work. The activity was attended by 25 participants consisting of 16 productive subject teachers and 9 normative/adaptive subject teachers. The activities carried out in the form of presentation of material about the importance of increasing teacher productivity in publishing scientific work to enhance careers, design action research in the classroom by implementing appropriate media variations and learning methods, writing strategies and publishing articles in journals and proceedings, tutorial guidance on writing articles, and the practice of compiling scientific articles. This PPM activity succeeded in increasing the motivation of teachers to conduct research and write scientific papers, improve the ability of teachers to select the right learning media and methods for conducting classroom action research, increase participants’ ability to write articles, increase teachers’ knowledge in accessing scientific journals and conference to publish their work. Participants satisfy to get new knowledge and skills about classroom action research techniques, they are open-minded and wish to further enhance their ability to conduct classroom action research and write articles to be published in proceedings/journals.]]>

<![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa melalui implementasi pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Snowball Throwing di kelas X TSM A pada mata pelajaran teknologi dasar otomotif di SMK Muhammadiyah Pakem. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas (classroom action research). Subyek penelitian yang digunakan adalah siswa kelas X TSM A tahun ajaran 2018/2019 yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dan setiap siklus terdiri dari 4 tahapan yaitu tahap perencanaan, tahap tindakan, tahap pengamatan, dan tahap refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes hasil belajar siswa dengan bentuk tes objektif pilihan ganda. Metode yang digunakan untuk analisis data yaitu dengan metode analisis kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa hasil belajar siswa kelas X TSM A pada mata pelajaran Teknologi Dasar Otomotif dapat ditingkatkan melalui implementasi pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Snowball Throwing. Kriteria keberhasilan dalam penelitian ini yaitu 75% siswa dapat mencapai nilai ketuntasan belajar minimal (KBM) 75. Peningkatan hasil belajar dibuktikan dengan meningkatnya presentase ketuntasan hasil belajar pada tiap siklus, yaitu presentase pada pra siklus sebesar 54,83%, siklus I sebesar 70% dan siklus II sebesar 86,66%.]]>

<![CDATA[This research was conducted with the aim to determine the quality of items about odd Semester Final Exam Subjects of Electrical Maintenance of Class XI Motorcycle Engineering at SMK Negeri 1 Bumiratu Nuban Academic Year 2018/2019. The research method used is descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The data collection technique uses the documentation method, to obtain test questions and answer keys as well as answers to all students who take the exam. The population of the study was grade XI Motorcycle Engineering SMK Negeri 1 Bumiratu Nuban 2018/2019. The results in terms of the question validity aspects as much as 57% including valid categories and 43% invalid. In terms of reliability, the reliability coefficient is 0.79 which means it has a high coefficient. Then in terms of the level of difficulty as much as 5% including the easy category, 53% including the medium category, 37% including the difficult category and 5% including the very difficult category. In terms of distinguishing factors, there were 5% of questions including excellent categories, 43% including good categories, 20% including sufficient categories, 22% including bad categories and 10% including categories that had to be discarded. From the aspect of deceptive effectiveness, there are only 7.5% of questions for which all the deceivers function effectively.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to increase students learning outcomes of class XI TKR 4 in the PKKR at SMK N 2 Yogyakarta through the application of the Problem Based Learning model. The types of this research are Classroom Action Research (CAR). The research data retrieval is on January 7, 2019 until February 9, 2019 at SMK N 2 Yogyakarta. The research was carried out in 2 cycles where each cycle was 2 times meeting. The research subjects were students of class XI TKR 4 on the Pemeliharaan Kelistrikan Kendaraan Ringan (PKKR) subjects in the 2018/2019 academic year with a total of 21 students. Data collection is done by test, observation, and documentation. Data processing is done quantitatively by seeing the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model and learning outcomes in each cycle. The success criteria determined are minimum 80% of students have reached the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM) which is a minimum value of 76.00. The results of this research showed that the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model is able to increase the learning outcomes of students in class XI TKR 4 in PKKR subjects at SMK N 2 Yogyakarta. The percentage of student who achieve KKM increase to 66.67% in the first cycle and 85.71% in the second cycle.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to find out: (1) the implementation of 2013 curriculum in PSPTKR practice planning at Muhammadiyah 1 Bantul Vocational School, (2) the implementation of 2013 curriculum in learning activity of PSPTKR practice at Muhammadiyah 1 Bantul Vocational School, (3) and the 2013 curriculum implementation in learning assessment of PSPTKR practice at Muhammadiyah 1 Bantul Vocational School. This study involved 5 PSPTKR subject teachers and all TKR XI grade students as research subjects. Data taken by questionnaires and interviews. Conclusions obtained from the results of two methods and interpreted according to the indicator criteria. The results showed that the implementation of the 2013 Curriculum on aspects of learning planning was included in the fully implemented category with a percentage of 86.35%. However, there are still weaknesess in the implementation of the 2013 curriculum because teachers have not been maximal in applying the RPP principles. In the aspect of learning implementation, the implementation of the 2013 curriculum was included in the fully implemented category with a percentage of 86.92%, but there were still weaknesses in teacher interactions that were less supportive of student activity and active participation. In the aspect of learning assessment, the implementation of the 2013 Curriculum was included in the fully implemented category with a percentage of 81.43%. However, there are still weaknesses in implementing learning assessment because the teacher has not been maximal in using a variety of assessment methods.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aimed to find out the relationship between internship achievement and entrepreneurial interest among students of light vehicle engineering (LVE) of SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Sleman. This was a correlational study. The research subjects were 70 LVE students at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Sleman with a total of 70 students. The data were collected using questionnaires and documents. The data were analyzed using product moment statistics. The results of the study showed that the students’ industrial internship achievement was 56% in the good category, their entrepreneurial interest was 53% in the high category, and there was a relationship between the internship achievement and the entrepreneurial interest among the students of LVE of SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Sleman in the 2018/2019 academic year. The relationship between industrial internship achievement and entrepreneurial interest was classified as a moderate correlation with a Pearson Correlation coefficient of 0.599. The outstanding values were knowledge and expectation of working through entrepreneurship. Meanwhile the weak values were attitude towards and attention to entrepreneurship activities.]]>
