Abstract

Student Worksheet (LKPD) is one of the learning media educators use to convey practical learning material. This research is motivated by learning media on the subject of Electric Motor Installation which is still minimal and the learning model used is still teacher-centered which causes learning outcomes to be not optimal. This study aims to develop LKPDs for Electrical Motor Installation subjects that are valid, practical, and effective so that they can improve practicum learning. This research uses the type of R&D (research and development) development with the 4-D model which consists of four stages of development, namely defining, designing, developing, and distributing. The data collection instrument uses an evaluation sheet in the form of a questionnaire for validity and practicality data. At the same time, effectiveness is seen in the practical learning outcomes when using LKPD. Based on the validation assessment by the material expert, the validator obtained a valid value, while the assessment of the media expert validator obtained a valid category value. The practicality assessment conducted by the subject teacher was rated as very practical, and then the assessment of the students was rated as very practical. Assessment of the effectiveness of practicum learning outcomes to obtain an effective value. It can be concluded that the LKPD for Electric Motor Installation is suitable for use in practicum learning because it has been declared valid, practical, and effective.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of student learning outcomes through the inquiry method at SMK Negeri 1 Sutera. The results of observations in class, understanding of the concepts taught is minimal, and critical thinking skills are weak. This study uses quantitative and experimental research types using the Pre-Experiment method with the One Group Pretest Posttest Design type. This study uses a test in the form of a pretest which aims to measure the level of students' initial understanding before being given treatment, and a posttest which seeks to assess the level of students' knowledge after treatment. Both are in the form of objective questions. The study subjects consisted of class X TITL 2 students of SMK Negeri 1 Sutera: The data collection method included observation, pretest, posttest, and documentation. Before the instrument was used in the experimental group, a trial of validity, reliability, and discrimination power, as well as the level of difficulty of the questions was carried out to ensure the suitability of the instrument with the research objectives. The result of his study in dictation increased student learning outcomes through the calculation of the Normalized Gain Score with a moderate and quite effective category.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the implementation of differentiation learning using the Problem-based Learning ( PBL ) model at SMK Negeri 1 Sutera. By realizing that each student has a different background, learning profile, interest, and learning speed, this research aims to map students learning needs based on interest, learning readiness, and learning profile (learning style). Learning is then designed by providing various strategies, materials, and learning methods according to the mapping result. Results of observation in educational classes. Based on data analysis from experimental class learning outcomes, this research shows that average student learning outcomes have increased. According to the sketch results, learning is then designed by providing various choices of strategies, materials, and learning methods. Observation results in education classes. In this research, based on data analysis of experimental class learning outcomes, it can be seen that the average student learning outcomes have increased and obtained N-Gain with medium criteria. This shows that this strategy is quite effective in accommodating the different learning needs of students in one class.

Abstract

The observation conducted in the Electrical Power Installation Engineering (TITL) department at SMKN 5 Solok Selatan reveals that the teaching methods currently used in the classroom are conventional, such as lecture-based approaches, which are perceived as straightforward and relatively easy. This has led to a lack of engagement among students in the Basic Electrical Engineering subject, resulting in passive learning. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the problem-solving model in the Basic Electrical Engineering course for class X TITL at SMKN 5 Solok Selatan. The research employed a quantitative approach with an experimental design. Results from student assessments through pretests and posttests demonstrated a significant increase in achievement, with a notable improvement in scores. The normalized gain score analysis indicated a medium average gain value. Additionally, the model was found to be fairly effective. Before implementing the problem-solving model, students' skill assessment scores were lower, but these scores increased afterward, showing a marked improvement. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that implementing the problem-solving learning model can enhance the learning outcomes of Basic Electrical Engineering for class X TITL students at SMK Negeri 5 Solok Selatan.

Abstract

This study was conducted to analyze the Implementation of learning e-modules to improve the learning outcomes of vocational high school students in basic electrical engineering. The method used is quantitative analysis. This study uses an experimental method in the form of a true experiment design. This study uses pretest and posttest research instruments in objective form to see the learning outcomes of students. It is tested using validity tests, reliability tests, discrimination power tests, and question difficulty index to determine the feasibility of the instruments used. The pretest and posttest results were analyzed using the completeness of learning outcomes and effect size calculations. The study's results indicate that the application of e-modules to basic electrical engineering can improve student learning outcomes. These results can be seen from the results of the pretest and posttest which were analyzed using the completeness of learning outcomes showing that many students achieved the minimum completeness criteria set by the school and the effect size analysis which had a large influence by using e-modules in improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the game-assisted Student Facilitator and Explaining (SFE) learning model in improving student learning outcomes in the subject of Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering at SMKN 1 Batipuh. This study uses an experimental method with a pre-experimental design in the form of a one-group pretest posttest. The results showed that there was a significant improvement in students' learning outcomes by using the game-assisted SFE model, showing a better understanding of electrical engineering concepts and higher critical thinking skills. In addition, the use of games as a learning medium has also been proven to make the learning process more interactive. The subjects in this study are students of class X TITL 1 at SMKN 1 Batipuh. The research instruments used are in the form of concept cards as a tool to help implement the SFE learning model, and pretest and posttest questions in objective form. Based on the average score of the posttest, it is in the high category. Therefore, the application of the Student Facilitator and Explanation learning model as a learning model in the Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering subject is said to be effective because the classical completeness value is included in the very high category and the effect size is included in the large category.
