Abstract

The success of online learning is determined by several aspects, namely aspects of facilities and infrastructure as well as aspects of the ability of lecturers and students in organizing online learning. This article aims to examine the role of digital literacy in online learning. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that digital literacy skills have an important role in online learning. Students with good digital literacy skills will strive to find and select important information and understand, communicate, and convey ideas in the digital space. In addition, digital literacy skills will open opportunities for students to think, communicate, and work which ultimately leads to student learning success.

Abstract

Online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic demands quality learning media. One of the learning media is video. Video quality can be improved by editing and setting after the recording is complete. Interesting video shows can eliminate the boredom of online learning for a long period. Especially in learning statistics that require complicated calculations. The purpose of this study is to analyze the needs of statistical learning videos assisted by proshow. This research method is descriptive exploratory. The data comes from the results of a questionnaire of 32 students of SMPN 7 Kotabumi. The results of the study are that students need learning media in the form of learning videos that are easily accessible and interesting so that statistics are easy to understand. The Proshow application can make learning videos give impressive effects.

Abstract

This research was conducted at SMAN 3 Kotabumi with the aim of increasing activities and learning outcomes for Citizenship Education (Civics) subjects using a Cooperative learning model with the Group To Groupe Exchange type of Globalization material for students in grade 12 Science 1 SMA Negeri 3 Kotabumi, North Lampung Regency. 2019-2020. The type of research carried out is classroom action research where a treatment is carried out on the research subject, namely grade 12 IPA 1 SMAN 3 Kotabumi students for the 2019-2020 academic year. This research was conducted to examine the effect of the groupto-exchange learning model, which is one type of cooperative learning on the activities and learning outcomes of Citizenship Education (Civics) subjects for 12 Science 1 students on Globalization. In classroom action research, the term research cycle is known, in this study carried out as many as 2 cycles at the end of the cycle reflection is carried out to find out the shortcomings and weaknesses of its implementation as well as material to reduce errors that will occur in cycle 2. The results of each cycle obtained student learning outcomes data in the form of tests questions and results of observations of student activities in the form of activity observation sheets during research activities which were then analyzed data to find out the results of the research. Based on the results of observations and discussions, it was found that there was an increase in Civics learning outcomes for class 12 Science 1 students on Globalization material by 49.5% from cycle 1 to cycle 2. There was also an increase in student learning activities using the Group to group exchange type cooperative learning model on indicators discipline, cooperation, courtesy and tolerance during learning. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of the group to group exchange learning model in learning Civics subjects on globalization materials can improve learning activities and student learning outcomes of 12 Science 1 SMAN 3 Kotabumi for the 2019-2020 academic year.

Abstract

Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kreativitas dan hasil belajar PAI materi perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan pada masa Abasiyah bagi siswa kelas XI MIPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Abungsemuli pada semester 2 Tahun 2019-2020. Penelitain ini dilaksanakan selama 6 bulan yakni dari bulan Januari 2020 sampai dengan bulan Juni 2020 dari penyusunan proposal, penyusunan istrumen, pengumpulan data, Melaksanakan Tindakan Kelas, pengolahan dan analisis nilai, sampai penyusunan laporan. tempat penelitian ini di SMA Negeri 1 Abungsemuli. Sedangkan subjek penelitan adalah siswa kelas XI MIPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Abungsemuli pada semester 2 tahun 2019-2020 yang berjumlah 25 orang siswa. Sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data yang dilaksanakan pada awalnya mengadakan pengambilan data pada daftar nilai semester yang lalu tentang hasil belajar sejarah Islam, kemudian melaksanakan 2 kali siklus, adapun masing–masing siklus terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi, kemudian masing-masing siklus setelah diadakan pembahasan dan pelaksanaannya selama proses pembelajaran, kemudian diakhiri dengan tes tertulis, kemudian nilai hasil belajar tersebut dianalisa dan direfleksi untuk mengetahui keberhasilan tujuan penelitian sesuai yang telah dirumuskan.Selanjutnya menurut teori empirik yakni hasil tindakan yang peneliti laksanakan yaitu dengan melihat nilai pada kondisi awal nilai rata-rata 55.68, sedang setelah dilaksanakan tindakan pada siklus pertama meningkat menjadi 66.24. ini mengalami peningkatan yang sangat berarti, yakni 5.88%, sedangkan pada siklus kedua mencapai nilai rata–rata 75.12, dibandingkan dengan siklus pertama mengalami kenaikan sebesar 5.88% pula.

Abstract

Strengthening literacy, numeracy, and technological adaptation are important efforts to improve the quality of human resources in the Digital Age and the Era of Disruption. Indonesia is very far behind other countries in this capacity. The government as well as related parties (Schools, Universities, Education Quality Assurance Institutions, and Parents) must participate in strengthening literacy, numeracy, and technology adaptation for students and educators in Indonesia. One of the activities is to integrate literacy, numeracy, and technology activities in learning either at school or at home.

Abstract

Video has become one of the main learning tools in distance learning systems. Students as prospective teachers must be able to make quality and interesting videos. One easy-to-use application for creating videos is Microsoft powerpoint. The purpose of this study is to describe the difficulty of students in making learning videos using Microsoft PowerPoint. The research subject is a 5th semester student who took the learning media course on condition that he has passed computer courses I. The research instrument is a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques are qualitatively covering reduction, presenting data, verifying and checking back. Based on the analysis of data it can be concluded that the difficulty of students in making learning videos is that students still have less knowledge in operating Microsoft powerpoint, less creative in designing video displays, low explaining skills and students still have low computer specifications.

Abstract

Indonesian language lessons are related to how to study science through concepts systematically, and facts obtained through discovery. However, in practice, the learning model applied to students through conventional techniques is the dominant technique, while other learning models such as discussion, experimentation, inquiry, and cooperative learning are rarely carried out. In the conventional learning process, students are less creative to develop thinking skills, so they become passive and less involved in learning. Schools as an educational institution have an important role in efforts to develop and realize the potential of students. The development of this potential can be started by growing students' thinking skills and abilities. In this case, think critically, creatively, logically, systematically, and argumentatively. These abilities need to be possessed by students, as a provision in dealing with the problems that will be faced, both problems that exist in school and problems that exist in everyday life. To achieve this, the author tries to change the learning method oriented to higher order thinking skills by using the Discovery Based Learning model.

Abstract

The purpose of describing scaffolding in solving student exponential problems in terms of Brodie's theory. Qualitative descriptive method. Data were collected using tests and interviews with first-semester students of the Mathematics Study Program, University of Muhammadiyah Kotabumi. Research subjects 4 of 28 students of mathematics education study program. In classifying the types of errors using Brodie's theory, namely 1) basic error, 2) appropriate error, 3) missing information, and 4) partial insight. Then the way to overcome student errors is given by scaffolding based on Anghileri's theory, namely environmental provisions, (explaining, reviewing, and restructuring), and developing conceptual thinking. The results of study 1) students' errors in solving exponential questions on basic errors, namely misunderstanding the questions, 2) meaningful learning helps students to better understand the questions, 3) scaffolding is carried out based on the three levels of Anghileri scaffolding, and 4) scaffolding is given in the form of directives so that students better understand the problem.

Abstract

Learning needs to be designed based on a need assessment and the need to develop learning materials that can answer learning problems in higher education. The development of Blended Learning materials is carried out to provide learning that can accommodate the breadth of required discussion and to elaborate on students' understanding, practice, and attitudes as competencies that are expected to be achieved in course learning. This paper aims to provide information about designing and producing blended learning materials that can solve learning problems. Dick and Carey's system approach model and Allan Jolliffe's web-based materials development model were used in the development of blended learning materials. The combination of learning materials, both printed and non-printed materials, can be arranged in face-to-face or non-face-to-face learning. Learning makes student activities and learning outcomes that make maximum learning outcomes. This paper describes the development of blended learning materials in higher education.

Abstract

Social Sciences (IPS) is a subject that discusses problems/cases of how students live socially, as a nation and as a state. The learning process should ideally prioritize the active involvement of students in interacting with learning resources and materials. Students must always be trained to think critically to solve problems, cooperate and establish active communication between students and teachers as learning facilitators. One alternative learning that is currently becoming a phenomenal that is growing in the world of education is participatory learning. The principle of participatory learning is that students have learning needs, understand learning techniques and learn behavior. To achieve maximum learning outcomes, the author tries to change the learning method with discussion techniques. In this case the author uses the Jigsaw comparative learning model. The application of this discussion technique is a participatory learning technique, aimed at training students to communicate actively with fellow learners so that the learning environment becomes more lively and passionate. Apart from being a pillar/element in Contextual Teaching and Learning, the group discussion learning strategy is an alternative learning model that can be used to maximize student involvement through solving cases/problems that are in accordance with the basic competencies that must be mastered by students.
