All articles are subject to initial Editor screening and then a rigorous double-blind peer-review process before publication. This journal is published twice a year on January and July and published on online version is free to access and download.

Abstract

This paper describes the results of theoretical readings on visionary leadership that can be the foundation of leadership in the Ibtidaiyah Madrasah environment. Based on the study material, the analytical approach uses library to research on various literature sources relevant to the study of this writing. Based on the results of the discussion, it can be concluded that visionary leadership is theoretically an ideal leadership pattern that can be applied in The Ibtidaiyah Madrasah environment. This is intended to answer the various complexities of education and learning management problems in the madrasah environment, especially Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. On the other hand, this leadership concept can also provide new insights for the heads of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah so that they can appear as leaders who are more flexible according to the demands of change. Visionary leadership in The Madrasah Ibtidaiyah environment will encourage the orientation of madrasa institutions to the future through the idea of a clear vision. Can make madrasa principals turn their vision into real action through mobilizing all human resources owned and synergized. The application of this leadership can be effective if it is supported by communication patterns and motivation and transparency of all madrasa ecosystems supported by the ability of the madrasa principal to innovate productively. The most substantial thing for the application of this leadership pattern is the adoption of spiritual values that seem to be very much connected to the culture of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah which is based on the Qur'an and Hadith.

Abstract

This study examines the interactive multimedia-based learning of students in higher education. The method used in this research study is library research. The procedure of this research using the stages of library research include; (1) selecting study topics, (2) exploring information, (3) formulating the focus of writing, (4) collecting data sources, (5) preparing data presentations, and (6) compiling reports in the form of research journal descriptions. This research data collection technique relies on documentation sources by exploring sources related to the focus of the problem being studied. data analysis technique uses content analysis to obtain the substance from appropriate and verifiable references based on the source through the stages of sorting and comparing various definitions and opinions from existing literature sources to achieve the suitability of relevant sources.The results of the analysis of this study can be concluded that; First, learning is an important process that greatly determines behavior change and improvement. In the context of higher education learning, lecturers are required to be more adaptive to various learning tools or media. Learning in higher education will be more interesting by using learning media. Second, learning media plays a very effective role. One type of this media is interactive multimedia whose contents combine various forms of media such as text, audio, and video to make it easier for students to use it in learning. Lecturers must be more innovative in using this interactive multimedia and must be skilled at technological developments.

Abstract

This exploration is to further develop the results obtained from the mental, emotional, and psychomotor fields of grade 5 students in Madrasah Islamiyah subjects at SDN 056 Lamasariang, Polewali Mandar Regency. Analysts look for different sources, for example, various titles of books obtained from various libraries, bookstores, research diaries that scientists find on the web as references in the preparation of this proposal.The exploratory strategy used in this exam is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The exam is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four phases, specifically preparation, implementation, perception, and reflection. The focus of this research is the learning outcomes of fifth graders in utilizing singing learning techniques at SDN 056 Lamasariang, Polewali Mandar Regency.The results showed that Islamic Religious Education learning by applying the singing technique learning model could further develop students' results from mental space with normal values in the pre-pattern 69.2 to 75.8 in the primary cycle, and 83.4 in the second cycle with 56 % of pre-cycle culmination, to 76% in the primary cycle and 96% in the next cycle. Meanwhile, from the emotional aspect, the assessment of students' perspectives in the main cycle, the normal perception was 72.95, increased to 83.95 in the second cycle with 65% fulfillment in the primary cycle, and the second cycle with 90%.

Abstract

This study reviews the problems of slow learners in learning. Literary references slow learner to teachers providing learning and parents in providing assistance to children at home during online learning. Based on the results of the study that has been carried out, it is concluded that slow learner children are children who experience learning delays. This can be shown in situations where a child has not been able to master the learning information conveyed by the teacher within a certain time limit. The characteristics of these children are one level above mentally retarded children so they need teacher responses and regular assistance to help them develop themselves. Teachers must observe and identify children who are slow learners to be given counseling assistance that can stimulate cognitive, affective, physical, and intuitive aspects. Counseling should also educate children to use devices in a positive way during online learning.

Abstract

This study discusses difficulties in learning Arabic and aims to determine the forms of difficulties in learning Arabic for grade IX students, and efforts to overcome learning difficulties in Arabic subjects at SMPIT Insan Cendekia Makassar. This type of research is qualitative research. The subjects of this study were teachers and students. The determination of the research subjects was carried out using a purposive sampling technique, totaling 10 informants. Methods of data collection using interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that there were forms of difficulty in learning Arabic for grade IX students at SMP IT Insan Cendekia Makassar, namely internal and external factors, internal factors consisted of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor. the student, then the external factors consist of the family environment and the school environment, efforts to overcome the difficulties of the Arabic language made by teachers and students by applying the vocabulary method and using textbooks or dictionaries.

Abstract

Online learning is an inevitable choice for any educational institution during the outbreak of Covid-19 so that the teaching and learning process can continue where teachers and students can still fulfill their obligations. However, in reality, online learning that utilizes internet technology leaves many problems for lecturers and students and greatly affects learning outcomes. This study aims to describe the problems faced by lecturers and students during online learning in Arabic courses at the Arabic Language Education Study Program, Faculty of Islamic Religion, UMI Makassar. Methodologically, this research is a descriptive qualitative that seeks to describe the phenomena that occur in the field as they are by using research instruments in the form of; observation, structured interviews, and documentation with a population of 9 lecturers and 213 students of PBA UMI Makassar using Simple Random Sampling from the population. The research data was processed using the Miles and Huberman method in the form of data collecting, data reduction, data display, and verification then drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the lecturers and students of PBA UMI Makassar experience various obstacles and learning barriers during online lectures. The problems and obstacles are divided into two, namely: (1) technical obstacles in the form of complex applications that are often used, inadequate availability of networks and electronic devices and the ability of students to prepare data quotas, and family economic factors. (2) non-technical obstacles or learning problems. itself which includes; difficulty understanding lecture material, unavailability of online teaching materials, non-variative teaching methods, barriers to communication and interaction between lecturers and students as well as issues of discipline, attendance, and class mastery. Although it is recognized that online learning also provides several advantages and advantages, especially in terms of time and cost efficiency for both lecturers and students. This study recommends several things, namely; improvement of the network system that is evenly distributed in all regions of Indonesia to facilitate internet access, provision of learning tools in the form of more actual learning facilities and materials, assistance, and provision of cheaper internet quotas for students.

Abstract

This paper reviews teacher leadership and the concept of teacher driving. Teachers as leaders in the scope of learning need their own abilities in learning management and in terms of building relationships with other educational ecosystems. Based on the results of this paper, it can be concluded that; First, the leadership of the teachers (teacher leadership) is affecting the ability of learners to achieve the learning objectives and be able to establish communications with other educational ecosystems. The role of teacher leadership is as an interactive, consultative, participatory, and controlling figure. The teacher becomes the central figure in the management and implementation of learning. Efficient teacher leadership can be carried out in a democratic style that makes teachers more open in learning and becomes a collaboration space with students so that they can foster harmonization of intimacy. Second, the concept of the driving teacher is the formulation of educational policies that are directed at producing teachers as learning leaders. The characteristics of the driving teacher are designed as future education patrons who carry out learner-centered learning and empower fellow teachers in their area. Substantially, this policy implements a curriculum that is based on the educational philosophy of Ki Hadjar Dewantara where a learning leader must be able to reflect critically to contextualize these philosophical values in local and national contexts.

Abstract

Cognitive development shows the characteristics of children's intelligence. This is an aspect of the development of children's intelligence at all levels of education. Education must provide space for children's intelligence growth through responsive learning to children's potential. The pandemic period has had an impact on the child's cognitive development system, it is realized that there are positive things but there are also negative symptoms that must be studied and taken into account in the future. The results of the discussion of this paper conclude that; First, children's cognitive development is a mental process that encourages the formation of behavioral changes. This development generally refers to aspects of children's intelligence so as to encourage them to acquire new skills in receiving, storing information, and then being able to use it in life. The process of cognitive development lasts from birth until a human dies. Second, the cognitive development of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah children during the pandemic can be optimized by creating a conducive learning environment by understanding children, providing children's play space, and parents and teachers realizing that children are not half adults, children are in the imitating phase. learning. The assistance provided must still provide space for children to remain creative which is avoided from the pressure and coercion of studying at home. Knowledge of children's development during the pandemic is needed to further maximize children's cognitive development at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah.
