The aim of this journal is to publish articles dedicated to all aspects of the latest outstanding developments in the field of counseling . Its scope counseling in education, Sections include research, assessment, supervision in counseling, Islamic Counseling, health counseling, sexual abuse, violence addition counseling, multi-cultural counseling, crisis intervention, trauma counseling, ITC in counseling, counseling career, spiritual counseling, Islamic marriage and family counseling, Islamic counseling and psychotherapy. Papers published in twice a year (June and December): (1) evaluation reports and research findings; (2) conceptual and methodological issues; and/or (3) implications of the above for action; and/or (4) an extensive book reviews section and also occasional reports on counseling and educational materials and equipment.

Self-concept is an individual's understanding of himself physically and psychologically including the advantages and disadvantages he has. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of group guidance services using discussion techniques to improve students' positive self-concepts. This study uses a quantitative approach and the method used in this study is a pre-experimental design study with one group pretest and posttest design. This research was conducted at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Palembang, and the samples of this research were students of class XII AKL 2 which amounted to 32 students after being given a pretest taken as many as 8 students who had a low positive self-concept. Sampling using a random sample technique. The results of the study were tested with the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test statistic which was used to measure the significance of the difference between 2 groups in paired data on an ordinal or interval scale but with a non-normal data distribution. Based on the table of results of the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test analysis, it can be seen that the Asymp probability number. Sig. (2-tailed) students' academic procrastination in doing assignments is 0.012, or the probability is below alpha 0.05 (0.012≤0.05). From the results obtained, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus, it shows that group guidance with discussion techniques is effective in increasing students' positive self-concept.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dukungan sosial orang tua dalam pembelajaran daring di era new normal dilihat dari: 1) Dukungan emosional. 2) Dukungan Instrumental. 3) Dukungan Informasi . 4) Dukungan Penghargaan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif.Populasi penelitian adalah 217 mahasiswa yang dipilih dengan teknik propotional random sampling dengan 141 partisipan.Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu angket.Sedangkan untuk analisis data menggunakan klasifikasi persentase.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tentang dukungan sosial orang tua dalam pembelajaran daring di era new normal Tergambar Bahwa: 1) Dukungan emosional berada pada kategori cukup tinggi. 2) Dukungan instrumental berada pada kategori sangat tinggi. 3) Dukungan Informasi berada pada kategori cukup tinggi. 4) Dukungan penghargaan berada pada kategori tinggi. Hasil penelitian ini direkomendasikan kepada mahasiswaagar mampu meningkatkan kegigihan dan antusias untuk mengikuti belajar daring dimasa pandemi sehingga orangtua juga termotivasi dalam memberikan dukungan ketika mahasiswa mengalami kesulitan saat pembelajaran daring

A misconception is a wrong explanation and an idea that is incompatible with the scientific understanding accepted by the experts. Misconceptions often occur because the concepts learned and accepted by students are different. The purpose of this study was to determine how the misconception of guidance and counseling services in SMA and MAN Idi Rayeuk. This research was conducted using qualitative descriptive methods with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study explain that the misconception of guidance and counseling services in MAN 1 Idi Rayeuk still occurs because the teacher who serves as a counseling teacher is not a BK teacher but is a graduate of Sociology who is given the responsibility to solve student problems, less because they do not understand the theory and how to implement the BK services provided to students to deal with their problems. Meanwhile, in SMA N 1 Idi Rayeuk, misconceptions do not occur, because the teachers who provide BK services are graduates of S-1 guidance and counseling. The service and implementation of the BK program have started to be carried out well because BK teachers are able to carry out their duties in implementing BK services in accordance with the operational guidelines for the implementation of guidance and counseling for high school (SMA).

Rumusan permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah adakah dan bagaimana pengaruh pemberian layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik sosiodrama dalam mengurangi kecanduan gadget pada siswa di madrasah Aliyah Al-Wasliyah Tembung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) melihat adakah pengaruh layanan bimbingan kelompok melalui teknik sosiodrama dalam menngurangi kecanduan gadget pada siswa di madrasah Aliyah Al-Wasliyah Tembung; (2) melihat bagaimana pengaruh layanan bimbingan kelompok melalui teknik sosiodrama dalam mengurangi kecanduan gadget pada siswa di madrasah Aliyah Al-Wasliyah Tembung.Penelitian ini akan melakukan pengambilan sekitar 10 (Sepuluh) anak yang memiliki kecanduan gadget yang tinggi kemudian diberikan layanan bimbingan kelompok teknik sosiodrama. Pengambilan sampel penelitian berdasarkan siswa yang memiliki skor kecanduang Gadget yang paling tinggi. Pengumpulan data penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan instrumen penelitian berupa skala kecanduan gadget. Validitas instrument menggunakan rumus product moment dan reabilitas menggunakan rumus alfa cronbach. Analisis data menggunakan rumus t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan beberapa kesimpulan yakni: (1) Hasil data penelitian menunjukan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara bimbingan kelompok teknik sosiodrama dengan kecanduan gadget. t (hitung)= 19,561 kemudian dibandingkan dengan t (table)= 2,1009022; (2) Penurunan terlihat melalui hasil kegiatan dengan data pada Pre-Test ditemukan 3 orang masuk pada kategorisasi Sangat tinggi kecanduan Gadget dan 7 orang masuk pada kategorisasi Tinggi kecanduan Gadget. Sementara pada data Post-Test setelah melakukan layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik sosiodrama ditemukan penurunan angka kecanduan dengan 2 orang masuk kategorisasi Sangat Rendah kecanduan Gadget, 7 orang masuk kategorisasi Rendah kecanduan Gadget dan 1 orang masuk kategorisasi Sedang kecanduan Gadget. This study aims to determine the application of group guidance services to develop colage student interpersonal communication in STAI MAARIF JAMBI study program BKPI. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data obtained from interviews, observations and documentation sourced from students of the BKPI Study Program STAI MAARIF JAMBI. The collected data is followed up with data reduction, data display and drawing conclusions. Group guidance service is one of the services that exist in counseling guidance services, where group guidance services aim to train students to dare to express their opinions, train to convey solutions, practice critical thinking. Group guidance services are expected to be able to improve students' skills in good communication.

This study aims to determine the level of self-confidence in students based on their organizational experience. This study uses a comparative quantitative method. The population of the study was IAIN Langsa students who participated in the organization as many as 119. Then, a sample was drawn using the proportional random sampling technique with a total sample of 92 students. The research instrument used is a self-confidence scale of 25 statement items with r = 0.836. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using the One Way ANOVA test with the help of SPSS 20. The results showed that overall the self-confidence of students who participated in the organization was in the high category and there was a significant difference in self-confidence when viewed from the experience gained in joining the organization.
