The rapid growth of the technology startup industry in Jakarta is driving companies to strengthen human resource (HR) management, particularly in terms of training and career development programs for Generation Z employees. This study aims to evaluate the contribution of training and career development to improving the performance of Generation Z employees in the startup workplace in Jakarta. A descriptive qualitative method was used, utilizing a narrative questionnaire to explore respondents' experiences, perceptions, and assessments of the training programs they attended. Thirty respondents participated and provided descriptions of the relevance of the training materials, competency improvement, and its impact on daily work behavior. The results showed that the training provided by startups was deemed relevant and effective, particularly programs based on e-learning, mentoring, and project-based learning. 66.7% of respondents stated that the training methods were optimal. Career development was also well-evaluated, as evidenced by transparency in promotions, organizational support, and opportunities for further learning. Regarding performance, non-Gen Z employees' assessments indicated that Generation Z employees exhibit high levels of innovation (87.5%), collaboration (75%), and productivity (62.5%), although consistency and discipline still need to be strengthened. Overall, the results of this study confirm that training and career development support each other in improving the skills, enthusiasm, and performance of young employees, and serve as an important strategy for startups in creating a flexible and competitive digital workforce.

Improving patient safety incident reporting is essential to strengthen safety culture and prevent adverse events in hospitals. We aimed to identify safety culture intervention strategies to improve patient safety incident reporting. This study was conducted using a systematic data search following the PRISMA method through PubMed, Scopus, and Google Scholar databases to identify interventional studies published between 2015 and 2025. The main keywords included “patient safety, interventions, training, program, incident reporting, adverse event reporting, error reporting.” The findings were identified and organized through thematic categorization based on the Self-Protective Behavior Framework. The most prevalent and promising approach is multifaceted intervention. Key strategies, including education and training, feedback mechanisms, management support, and technology integration, showed consistent positive results with improved reporting rates. Improving incident reporting effectively requires a multifaceted strategy. Education and training must be reinforced by continuous feedback, strong leadership, and streamlined technology to build a sustainable and non-punitive reporting culture.

This study explores the implementation of inclusive tourism at Bira Beach, Bulukumba Regency, South Sulawesi, focusing on accessibility and local community empowerment as key components of sustainable coastal tourism. Although Bira Beach possesses exceptional natural potential, several challenges remain particularly limited accessibility for people with disabilities and insufficient community involvement in destination management. Using a qualitative evaluative approach, this research applies the Universal Design Principles framework combined with community empowerment theory to assess the effectiveness of inclusive tourism development programs. Data were obtained through interviews, participatory observation, and documentation involving local residents, tourism stakeholders, and government representatives. The findings indicate that accessibility facilities, such as ramps, special toilets, and digital information systems, are still inadequate, resulting in unequal opportunities for all visitors. In addition, local communities are mostly involved in small-scale tourism activities and have limited participation in strategic decision-making processes. This condition constrains the realization of sustainable and inclusive tourism benefits. The study recommends improving physical and digital accessibility, enhancing training and capacity-building programs for local residents, and strengthening collaboration between government, private sectors, and non-governmental organizations. The integration of inclusive design and community empowerment can support Bira Beach’s transformation into an accessible and sustainable marine tourism destination that benefits all stakeholders.

The management of Regional Government-Owned Assets (BMD) is an essential element in supporting the effectiveness of government administration and realizing accountable governance. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Regional Government Owned Asset management at the Regional Development Planning Agency (BAPPEDA) of Buton Regency based on Government Regulation Number 28 of 2020 and the Regulation of the Minister of Home Affairs Number 19 of 2016. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using the interactive analysis model of Miles and Huberman, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that administratively, BMD management at BAPPEDA of Buton Regency has been implemented in accordance with applicable regulations, particularly in the aspects of planning, procurement, and asset administration. However, several obstacles remain in its implementation, especially in the aspects of asset use, utilization, security, maintenance, and supervision. Prominent issues include suboptimal needs analysis, weak recording of asset utilization, reactive maintenance practices, and the absence of clear Standard Operating Procedures and sanction mechanisms. This study concludes that although BMD management at BAPPEDA of Buton Regency has fulfilled administrative requirements, it has not fully reflected the principles of good governance, particularly accountability, effectiveness, and internal control. Therefore, strengthening internal regulations, improving employee discipline, and optimizing regional asset management systems are necessary.

This study aims to analyze the level of responsiveness of public service delivery at the Population and Civil Registration Office of Bone Regency. Responsiveness is an important indicator of public service quality, reflecting the ability of officials to respond to community needs, complaints, and aspirations. This study used a qualitative, descriptive approach. Data were obtained through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with officials and the public, and documentation studies. Data analysis was conducted in three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, with validity testing using triangulation of sources, techniques, and time. The results showed that the general level of responsiveness of public services at the Bone Regency Population and Civil Registration Office is considered good. The ability of officials to respond to the public has been effective, with open, direct communication between the public and office officials. The accuracy and precision of services are also considered good because they are guided by Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and an electronic-based service system. However, the speed of service still faces obstacles in terms of network aspects and limited number of officials. In addition, the ability to respond to public complaints is quite good, with online complaints via Google Forms. These findings emphasize the importance of improving human resource capacity and optimizing information technology to strengthen the responsiveness and quality of public services in the regions.

Competition in the engineering services industry demands that companies have competent, productive, and adaptable human resources to technological developments. PT Wijaya Anugrah Persada Raya (WAPR), a company engaged in engineering services and supply, strives to improve employee performance through appropriate training and compensation. However, the effectiveness of these two factors in improving performance still needs to be studied, particularly considering the role of competency as a mediating variable. This study aims to analyze the effect of training and compensation on employee performance through competency as a mediating variable. The approach used was quantitative, using the Partial Least Square–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS–SEM) method. Data were collected through an online questionnaire, with respondents being PT WAPR employees. The results showed that job training significantly impacted employee performance, while compensation had no direct effect. Training and compensation had a positive effect on competency, but competency did not significantly mediate their influence on performance. These findings confirm that performance improvement is not solely determined by training and compensation but is also influenced by other factors such as motivation, work environment, and job satisfaction.

The growth of the building materials retail industry in Indonesia, driven by rapid infrastructure development, has increased competition among businesses. This situation requires building materials stores to focus not only on product availability but also on service quality to create customer satisfaction and loyalty. This study aims to analyze the effect of product variety and sales service on customer loyalty, with customer satisfaction as a mediating variable at TB. Rahmat Jaya Mandiri in Cirebon Regency. This study used a quantitative approach with a survey method of 129 customer respondents. Data were analyzed using inferential statistical analysis techniques to test the direct and indirect effects between variables. The results showed that product variety and sales service did not have a significant direct effect on customer loyalty. In addition, product variety and sales service also did not have a significant effect on customer satisfaction. Testing the indirect effect showed that customer satisfaction was unable to mediate the effect of product variety or sales service on customer loyalty. The main finding of this study revealed that the only significant relationship was between customer satisfaction and customer loyalty, making customer satisfaction a key factor in the formation of loyalty. The results of this study indicate that in building materials stores, customers place more emphasis on functional aspects and reliability than product variety and emotional service. This research is expected to provide strategic considerations for building materials store managers in formulating policies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.

This study aims to examine the role of organizational culture in shaping employee engagement within the context of the green economy in multinational technology companies, with Google LLC used as an illustrative case. Adopting a qualitative approach through a systematic literature review, this research synthesizes theoretical frameworks and empirical findings related to organizational culture, employee engagement, and sustainability-oriented organizational practices. The analysis draws on reputable academic books and peer-reviewed journal articles to explore how shared values, norms, and meanings embedded in organizational culture influence employees’ psychological attachment, motivation, and involvement at work. The findings indicate that organizational culture plays a fundamental role in fostering employee engagement by creating a supportive environment that enhances vigor, dedication, and absorption. Furthermore, the integration of green economy principles into organizational culture strengthens employees’ sense of meaningful work, collective identity, and emotional attachment to the organization. In the context of multinational technology companies, sustainability-oriented cultural values not only support environmental responsibility but also contribute to long-term employee engagement and talent retention. This study contributes conceptually by positioning the green economy as a contextual factor that reinforces the relationship between organizational culture and employee engagement, offering insights for sustainable human resource management and organizational development.
