Abstract

A hot aluminum alloy AA6082 and nickel disc of 560 °C and 850 °C was cooled by a spray nozzle with the spray flux of 4.2, 10 and 13.7 kg/m2s. The temperature history during the cooling process was recorded with use of an infrared camera. The energy balance equation is the basis for the numerical procedure of Heat Transfer Coefficient (HTC) calculation in the film-boiling regime. It is found that HTC is almost independent from kind of metals. HTC has a stronger function of surface temperature. With use of single droplet model in film boiling developed, vapor film thickness can be calculated to predict this trend.

Abstract

In the era of globalization, which is now increasingly rapid, making customers in a company smarter and more and more demanding. With the existence of technology also makes companies easily interact with customers. The company must have good service and relationships with its customers in order to always meet the needs of its customers. So from that make an information system that can help companies in this study is a minimarket as a businessman to be able to maintain relationships with customers. With this system, later it will be able to attract new customers to interact and transactions in minimarkets and existing customers will become more loyal in conducting transactions at minimarkets. This information system will use system creation methods, namely the waterfall method, which is part of the SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) which can help system developers make it easier to analyze and design systems. The application used for this information system is Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 and uses the VB.NET language as a front end and Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Express R2 as a database or data storage system and uses Enterprise Architect to describe the UML (Unified Modeling Language) diagram. This information system provides several solutions to problems faced by minimarkets such as transaction recording, tidier customer data management. Conclusions obtained by the existence of a customer relationship management system integrated with point of sales, minimarkets can improve service to customers by providing the information needed quickly and precisely.

Abstract

Aplikasi Pembelajaran On-line (e-Learning) Untuk Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan merupakan suatu inovasi bagi sekolah menengah kejuruan . Ada dua hal mendesak yang melatar belakangi pembuatan web e-learning ini, yaitu: Pertama, kelemahan pola pembelajaran (pembelajaran tatap muka di dalam kelas) yang dipakai oleh setiap sekolah menengah dan sederajat. Kedua, perkembangan teknologi yang telah maju dengan pesat perlu dipikir oleh para stageholder pendidikan guna meningkatkan kondisi pembelajaran. Tujuan utama yang terkandung dalam penulisan tesis ini adalah pembuatan Aplikasi Pembelajaran Online (e-Learning) Untuk Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK).Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam perancangan dan pembangunan aplikasi e-Learning adalah metode perancangan berbasis object oriented melalui tahapan pembuatan UML, pembuatan rancangan basis data. E-Learning dibangun dengan mengadopsi standar Learning Technologi Architecture (LTSA) IEEE 1484. Hasil yang dicapai adalah ketersediaan aplikasi pendukung kegiatan belajar mengajar yang dapat diakses secara online. Aplikasi e-Learning berbasis web ini menambah fasilitas guru dan siswa dalam hal berkomunikasi, pemberian materi pelajaran, pemberian ujian, dan menambah fasilitas dalam pemberian informasi nilai.

Abstract

FTP merupakan metode pilihan yang tepat dalam penyimpanan dengan kecepatan transfer yang lebih baik, akan tetapi seiring perkembangan teknologi semakin banyak tools yang dapat melakukan tindak kejahatan diantaranya melakukan sniffing. Sniffing merupakan tindakan hacking paling mudah dan paling sulit untuk diantisipasi, dengan berbagai macam tool yang dapat digunakan dan bersifat free, yang dapat membahayakan user yang tidak teliti atau tidak mengerti sepenuhnya tentang kemanan jaringan komputer. Dalam Transfer file, Protocol Transport merupakan bagian yang sangat penting. Transport layer didisain untuk komunikasi terminal diantara aplikasi yang berjalan pada host-host yang berbeda. Dengan menggunakan FTP, user dapat memanipulasi file komputer lain seolah-olah di komputer sendiri. FTP hanya berjalan secara ekslusif di jaringan TCP. Secara default, FTP server akan melakukan listening pada port 21 untuk mendeteksi adanya permintaan koneksi dari FTP client. Agar User dapat terlindung dari serangan sniffing maka dibutuhkan Protokol FTPS dimana terdapat penggabungan antara protokol FTP dan aplikasi OpenSSL. OpenSSL berfungsi untuk melindungi data user dan password melalui enkripsi berupa berkas sertifikat. Setelah melakukan pengujian hal tersebut dapat dihindari dengan dengan menggunakan FTPS. Ketika pengguna akan login memasukkan user name dan password maka protokol FTPS akan melakukan enkripsi data, sehingga informasi user dan password di jaringan sulit untuk disadap oleh aplikasi-aplikasi sniffer yang banyak beredar di internet salah satunya seperti cain & abel.

Abstract

Quadcopter is an unmanned aerial vehicle with 4 rotors and propellers on each side. All motions, positions and flying directions are controlled by the speed and direction of each rotor movement. Application of this quadcopter technology also varied, such as for distant aerial observation and militer duties. In the application of this technology, the balance of quadcopter is needed, four rotors will always be parallel to the horizontal plane. This condition is known as hovering control. Hovering control often got distractions from outside, among others is the dynamics of the plant tend to be complex. In this study used methods of Hybrid PID-Fuzzy control as its control system to achieve a balanced condition and resolve any distractions when hovering control happen for roll and pitch angles. Hybrid PID-Fuzzy control is combination method of PID control (conventional PID) with output value generated from fuzzy logic control. Constants of Kp, Ki and Kd are used and added with fuzzy logic control using 25 rule evaluations. Percentage of each control is 90% for PID control and 10% for fuzzy logic control. With constant Kp=6.62, Ki=0.85, Kd=5 with 25 rule evaluations, this control can generate good response by reducing overshoot and provide better recovery time compared with conventional PID control. Implementation of Fuzzy-PID hybrid control generates an error steady state response about 3o during hovering and being able to hovering back within 1.5 seconds if the given disctraction is 19o and 1 second if the given distraction of 13 o.

Abstract

In the development of technology at this time, like computers, software, networks and others have given the effect of high infrastructure needs on its users, resulting in increased competition in terms of developing new technologies by the vendors. With the different conditions and requirements of each user, it raises the thought of a system solution that is well integrated in overall. The use of conventional LAN networks is currently very much avoided by the world for various reasons, for example the management of infrastructure that is difficult and unsystematic, complicated system troubleshooting, the application of single segmentation on the network that raises network security issues is very weak and vulnerable to data theft. Especially if this happens in a large organization or company, of course it will have a very bad impact. The solution is to implement a Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN) to solve problems on the network. This is because VLANs are useful for separating networks into different segments and reducing the size of broadcast domains. With VLAN, it also makes it easy to manage the network, any changes in the network will be easily resolved automatically, namely Dynamic VLAN. To be able to design a good and effective VLAN, an appropriate design method is needed too. This study uses a product method from Cisco, namely PPDIOO Development Life Cycle as the design path for VLANs with type Dynamic VLAN, which aims to get optimal results in the final design according to the process of the method.

Abstract

Kursi roda adalah alat bantu berjalan bagi beberapa orang yang memiliki kekurangan pada anggota gerak tubuh seperti lumpuh dikaki, orang yang sudah lanjut usia (manula) yang tidak mampu lagi berjalan sendiri, ataupun orang yang sedang menjalani perawatan di rumah sakit. Salah satu kendala bagi pengguna kursi roda adalah masih kurang kemandiriannya artinya ada suatu saat dimana pemakai kursi roda masih memerlukan bantuan orang lain, misalnya saat melintasi jalan tanjakan dan jalan turunan. Berdasarkan hal tersebut diatas, maka pada penelitian ini dirancang dan dibuat sebuah kursi roda dengan menggunakan remote control (joystick) sebagai pengendali gerak dari kursi roda agar dapat melintasi jalan tanjakan dan jalan turunan secara mandiri. Kursi roda yang dirancang dengan mengimplementasikan metode PID (Proportional Integral Derivative) yang akan mengontrol arah dan kecepatan pergerakan motor DC yang dilengkapi dengan sensor rotary encoder sebagai pembacaannya, agar pergerakan kursi roda saat melewati jalan tanjakan dan jalan turunan dengan kecepatan yang sama. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang dirancang mampu bekerja sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian. Pengujian respon kontrol kursi roda dengan menggunakan metode PID akan menentukan respon kontrol terhadap setpoint. Nilai parameter Kp, Ki, dan Kd dengan error terkecil telah diperoleh untuk kondisi jalan datar, tanjakan dengan sudut 7,5°, turunan dengan sudut 7,5°, dengan berat beban pengendara 50kg dan 60kg. ----- Wheelchairs is a tools for helping someone or people who have a deficiency for example a lame foot, people who are elderly (seniors) are no longer able to walk on his own, or those who are undergoing treatment in hospital. One of the obstacles for wheelchair users is still lacking independence means there is a moment where wheelchair users still need the help of others, for example when crossing the road climbs and roads derivative. Based on the above reason, the study was designed and created a wheelchair with a remote control (joystick) as motion control of a wheelchair to be able to cross the road and the road climbs derivatives, in order to cross both of the road's condition with independently. The implemented method of PID (Proportional Integral Derivative) to control of the direction and speed of movement of a DC motor, also uses a rotary encoder sensor readings, so the movement of the wheelchair ramp is currently passing through both of the road's condition with the same speed. Results of the study show that the designed system is able to work in accordance with the purpose of study. Testing response wheelchair control by using PID control will determine the response to set point. Value parameters Kp, Ki, and Kd with the smallest error was obtained for flat roads, climb at an angle of 7.5 °, 7.5 ° angle derivative, with rider weight 50kg and 60kg.

Abstract

Online Gaming is a world phenomenon, include in Indonesia. Online Game Addiction is a worrying condition. The main factor about why the online game is having a large fanbase until addiction case happens, especially in Indonesia, is not studied formally. This research found out the factors in Indonesia is exrensive and intertwined, but the main factor is gamer in Indonesia that are not mature enough.

Abstract

Korean language has a different form of characters from the letters of the alphabet so that not everyone can read Korean characters. The number of Muslims in Korea who are in the minority results in the Korean people's understanding of halal food being very minimal. As a result, foreign tourists, especially Muslim tourists who come to Korea have difficulty choosing halal food. Based on these problems, the topic of this research is based on the image processing system (Image Processing) that is designed is the detection of the letters of the alphabet and Hangul (Korean characters) using the OCR (Optical Character Recognition) and Raspberry Pi as data processing so that it can recognize letter characters Hangul and alphabet that are already available in the database. The workings of this system are first to create a database of food data and certain words related to food menus. Then by using the Pi camera, scanning of the food menu is done. The data obtained will be processed by Raspberry Pi so that the system is able to detect food menus correctly. The results show that the system is able to detect food menus from text localization with an average accuracy rate of 88,333%. By using 4 different font types, the English text shows OCR data train still needs to be improved.

Abstract

Development of information Web technology Service, especially on digital security, whether in the form of a website, is a very important aspect in terms of efforts to prevent unwanted things from happening, such as a team of hackers who often commit crimes in cyberspace with the phishing method, ddos ​​attacking, and various methods used. to commit cyber crimes on the internet. The most popular attack techniques are found, such as, Cross Site Scripting, Sql Injection, phishing and ddos ​​attacks. The most frequently used hacker attack technique is the Distributed about Denial of Service technique. After collecting a lot of evidence, knowing that Tehcnic Distributed Denial of Service is a hacked attack technique carried out by remote experts, the researcher found that the Web Server Security Analysis was not yet fully effective, it could be overcome by the Distributed Denial of Service attack.
