Abstract

Menjual kursus digital merupakan ide kreatif yang dapat dilakukan dimasa pandemi COVID-19. Melalui video yang interaktif maka peluang untuk mendapatkan penghasilan lebih besar. Untuk menjual kursus digital seseorang atau perusahaan memerlukan sebuah sistem informasi yang dapat mengelolah administrasi, pendaftaran keanggotaan, pembayaran dan manajemen isi pembelajaran. Learning Management System (LMS) terintegrasi dapat digunakan untuk menjual kursus digital. Salah satu LMS yang dapat digunakan adalah TutorLMS, saat ini TutorLMS sudah digunakan lebih dari 60.000 pengguna. Pengujian Insecure Design dan Broken Access Control digunakan untuk mengetahui seberapa aman penggunaan TutorLMS dalam menjual kursus online. Dengan pengujian ini diharapkan penjual bisa berjualan kursus online dengan aman. Pengujian dilakukan menggunakan metode action research dimana langsung melakukan pengujian pada objek, disini penulis menggunakan demo website TutorLMS untuk melakukan pengujian. Dari hasil pengujian kursus online berbayar dapat diakses dengan mudah oleh pengunjung yang tidak melakukan pembelian bahkan pendaftaran. Desain REST API yang ada pada dokumentasi, tidak memerlukan autentikasi untuk membaca isi dari kursus online, menyebabkan pengunjung dapat dengan mudah untuk mengambil isi pembelajaran, video dan lainnya. Pengunjung juga dapat mendapatkan pertanyaan quiz dan jawaban, serta mendapatkan informasi author pembuat kursus.

Abstract

Riset ini ditujukan untuk mendesain sistem kontrol otomatis pada inkubator bayi Grashof type G-62. Dengan menggunakan Logika Fuzzy, berat bayi dan kelembaban kabin diset sebagai input. Dalam fungsi waktu, parameter-parameter yang dikontrol selama pengoperasian inkubator bayi tersebut adalah berat, detak jantung, suhu badan, kelembaban dan suhu kabin. Semua nilai parameter ini kemudian ditransmisikan secara real time melalui fitur Internet of Thing (IoT) yang disematkan pada sistem. Metode Filter Kalman diaplikasikan untuk mengurangi error pada pembacaan sensor berat load cell. Sistem kontrol berhasil menginterpretasikan secara akurat kombinasi input berupa data berat bayi dan kelembaban kabin untuk kemudian menyesuaikan suhu kabin yang ideal bagi bayi.

Abstract

Teknologi infomasi dan komunikasi berkembang dengan pesatnya dibuktikan dengan produk-produk unggulan yang dapat saling berinteraksi dan memperoleh informasi secara cepat. Home Automation adalah sistem yang digunakan untuk mengintegrasikan berbagai sistem yang umumnya terdapat pada suatu ruangan. Selama ini cara untuk melakukan On/Off lampu pada Lab. Teknik Elektro Universitas Internasional Batam dilakukan secara manual dengan menggunakan switch. Pada penelitian ini dirancang dan diaplikasikan sistem kendali lampu berbasis Android pada Ruang Lab Teknik Elektro UIB. Selain itu akan diterapkan sistem feedback yang bertujuan untuk memonitoring ruangan secara realtime dan membantu pengontrolan lampu jarak jauh dengan memanfaatkan mini computer Raspberry pi yang difungsikan sebagai server, serta relay yang digunakan sebagai saklar otomatis untuk menyalakan dan mematikan lampu. Terdapat modul kamera Raspberry pi yang tehubung secara real time dengan Android sehingga user dapat melakukan monitoring kendali lampu jarak jauh melalui media internet. Selain itu terdapat perancangan aplikasi android yang meliputi perancangan interface dari aplikasi android, serta perancangan Activity Script Interface. Minimum os (Operating Sistem) dari Smartphone android adalah Android 4.0.3 (Ice Cream Sandwich). Sistem yang dibangun dapat berjalan dengan baik, hanya saja terdapat rata-rata delay pada data monitoring feedback kamera sebesar ±10 detik. Disamping itu sistem sangat mengandalkan kestabilan konektivitas internet untuk menjalankan sistem. Adapun rata-rata konektivitas antara Android dengan sistem kendali lampu sebesar 80% data terkirim pada siang hari. Sedangkan rata-rata konektivitas pada malam hari sebesar 100%

Abstract

Library is one of the most important pillars to improve the quality of Indonesia’s education. Due to its importance for the next generation, the government tries to increase the establishment of schools and libraries so that the young generation can compete with people from another countries. However, the increasing number of libraries did not mean that the library service quality will become better. Many library systems in Indonesia still have not kept up with technology and still using the manual system, hence the management process and services are not effective. Because of that, this research is created for the purpose of producing a design for a library management application. The methods used in this research is split into multiple steps which is system planning, class diagram planning, MySQL database planning, and GUI planning. The following processes will produce a library management desktop application that is integrated to a database. With this application, processing, documenting, and deliverance of data can be done in more effective and efficient way.

Abstract

Most trainer module equipped a system error simulator (Fault Simulator), to activate the fault simulator the instructor must press a button that will bring up a certain type of fault that the trainer wants to simulate, then students will analyze the source of the error and fix it. The weakness of this trainer is that teachers must press a button on the trainer when they want to change the fault simulator in front of students so that participants will know which type of fault simulator is being run without troubleshooting. If this happens, the teaching objectives are not achieved so that the teaching process using this trainer becomes less effective. To overcome this problem, a remote-control prototype for trainers was designed consisting of an infrared (IR) based transmitter and receiver. To facilitate integration of the fault simulator module, the IR Transmitter and IR Receiver will communicate serially. From the tests carried out, it can be concluded that the designed remote-control prototype for trainers is functioning properly. IR transmitter and IR receiver can communicate serially using infrared media. This remote-control prototype has an optimal distance in the range of 0-5 m.

Abstract

In the digital age, networks are an important factor for implementing communication and exchanging information. Campus networks, which are private networks specifically designed for a particular institution, are essential for the institution because they provide access to the necessary information and services. However, campus networks are also vulnerable to security threats such as cybercrime and malware attacks. Firewall implementation can minimize these threats by controlling access to network services. Pundi Mas Berjaya (PMB), a company that provides software solutions to the global market, requires a highly available and redundant campus network. This research uses Cisco Packet Tracer to design and configure the network required by PMB. Implementing a highly available and redundant campus network with a hierarchical network model will improve the performance of the PMB campus network connectivity and security.

Abstract

Semua orang pasti menginginkan rumah yang ditinggalinya itu aman dari pembobolan, pencurian, kelupaan kunci pintu, kebakaran dan lain sebagainya. Teknologi rumah pintar mencakup berbagai perangkat rumah tangga sehari-hari yang dapat terhubung satu sama lain dan ke web dengan menggunakan internet. Konektivitas ini memungkinkan pemilik untuk memprogram/melakukan kegiatan sehari-hari yang sederhana dan, dalam beberapa kasus, untuk mengontrol pengoperasian perangkat dari jarak jauh dengan menghubungkan perangkatnya dengan teknologi Internet of Things (IoT). Rumah pintar dirancang untuk kenyamanan, keamanan orang yang mana dapat menjanjikan kehidupan mandiri yang lebih baik dimasa yang akan datang bagi semua orang.

Abstract

Chat Application is an application that allow people to communicate with each other without face-to-face meetings or time issue. To design a well-functioning chat application, this study was conducted using the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method for designing chat application. Apart from that, this study will be using the Python programming language, the PyMySQL module used to connect python to the database, and the Tkinter module is used as a tool in this study to create a Graphical User Interface (GUI) for chat application, and not to mention this study will be using Symmetry Encryption Cryptography to perform encryption and decryption of user chat data.

Abstract

A safe-deposit box is a box used for keeping precious items. Safe-deposit boxes are designed to be difficult for people to open by force. There are various security systems that may be used in it, such as mechanical key, combinational lock, PIN, etc. However, a safe-deposit box is still prone to unpermitted access because anyone who knows the PIN or possesses the key is still able to open it. This research aims to create a safety-box prototype which has a face recognition system implemented on it to ensure no unauthorized person may access this box. Experiment is performed on three different classes, which are “erwin”, “unknown”, and “willy”. Class of “erwin” and “willy” are defined as safe owners, while “unknown” is defined as anyone who is not both owners. Classification on safe owners is considered success if the percentage output in corresponding classes is at least 90 %. Classification on “unknown” class is considered success if the result is at least 90 % or percentage on each class is lower than 90 %. Accuracy for each class is 0 %, 71.43 %, dan 100 %.

Abstract

Petri Net is one of the models to represent a distributed system and is widely used in areas such as process control, computer networks, queuing systems, and others. In the field of informatics, petri net was also used for system modeling in the development of interactive multimedia. Learning Media that would become one of the means for children in the learning process. In influence of the development of information technology, the media will be developed through educational games. One media that can assist in the delivery of interactive media content is accompanied by educational game. The resulting product is a CD that accompanied Interactive educational games inside. Based on the results of this design, it is advisable for parents and teachers to introduce this communication medium to the children because this product has advantages as a medium of learning easy and attract children to learn, especially for children an early age. Expected media in particular can also help the child to learn to recognize numbers and letters easily, distinguish colors and can recognize animals and fruits.
