Abstract

Based on SNI 1974: 2023, concrete is a composite material that hardens over time and has compressive strength at 28 days. Concrete is widely used because of its advantages, despite its disadvantages such as weight, cracking, and high formwork costs. This study reviews rubber sandal waste as a substitute for coarse aggregate at 15% and 30% to reduce the weaknesses of concrete. The background is the growth of industry, particularly the rubber sandal industry, which produces large amounts of waste. The test results show that concrete without waste (0%) achieved a compressive strength of 18.94 MPa (7 days) and 34.74 MPa (14 days), exceeding the SNI 1974: 2023 limit. With a rubber sandal waste composition of 15%, the compressive strength was 16.65 MPa (7 days) and 21.24 MPa (14 days), only meeting the 7-day requirement. The 30% composition showed similar results. This means that the use of rubber sandal waste up to 30% reduces compressive strength performance at 14 days.

Abstract

The Manunggal Army to Build Villages (TMMD) program represents a tangible form of collaboration between the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and the community to accelerate rural development. The 125th TMMD program, implemented in Solok Selatan Regency, serves as a concrete example of strategic cooperation between the TNI, local government, and community in improving welfare and strengthening regional resilience. This study aims to describe the forms of cooperation between the TNI and the community in implementing the 125th TMMD program and to analyze its social and economic impacts. The study employs a qualitative descriptive method using a case study approach, through observation, documentation, and literature analysis. The results indicate that the collaboration between the TNI and the community in the 125th TMMD program is realized through two main aspects: physical and non-physical activities. Physical activities include the development and improvement of tourism infrastructure for Mount Kerinci hiking routes, renovation of uninhabitable houses, and construction of sanitation facilities in Nagari Lubuk Gadang Selatan, Sangir District. Non-physical activities consist of national defense education, community empowerment programs, and efforts to strengthen the spirit of mutual cooperation and nationalism. The implementation of the 125th TMMD program has significantly contributed to improving tourism accessibility, stimulating regional economic growth, and enhancing synergy between institutions and the community in sustaining development. Therefore, the TMMD program functions not only as a physical development initiative but also as an effective model of partnership that strengthens the bond between the TNI and the people. The program has proven effective in increasing community participation, strengthening social solidarity, and becoming a key factor in promoting equitable development in Solok Selatan Regency.

Abstract

This study looks to understand the meaning making process and identity formation among UINSA (Sunan Ampel Islamic State University) students surrounding the phenomenon of reels on Instagram along the visual consumerism continuum. The work focuses on the phenomenological qualitative method used in the interviews and stimulated recall. The results reveal the following. For the most part, short Islamic videos and the viewers’ emotional and cognitive shifts suggest varying degrees of motivational and spiritual awareness and reflection. Secondly, the platform has become an identity construction site where students have become netizens, and, in Islamic education, they intermingle education, personality, and algorithms into varying, at times, unique frameworks. Third, the platform influences behavioral tendencies, from subtle shifts in daily religious habits to increased trust in digital preachers, while also reinforcing the need for critical filtering to avoid superficiality and misinformation. The study concludes that Instagram reels are beyond serving as entertainment oriented content, playing a significant role in shaping emotional engagement, spiritual resonance, and being the dynamic formation of contemporary muslim youth identity.

Abstract

Trade intermediaries play an important role in the domestic distribution system by bridging the relationship between producers and consumers. Their presence is expected to enhance distribution efficiency by reducing transaction costs; however, in practice, intermediaries are often associated with higher cost structures and increased product prices. This study aims to analyze the influence of trade intermediaries on distribution cost structures and product price formation in the domestic market. The research employs a qualitative-descriptive approach using a literature review method, drawing on academic journals, economics textbooks, and other relevant sources. The findings indicate that trade intermediaries have a dual role: they can serve as a source of efficiency through functional specialization in distribution, but they may also become a source of inefficiency when operating in highly concentrated market structures. The length of the distribution chain contributes significantly to cost accumulation and price disparities between producer and consumer levels. In the Indonesian domestic market context, the dependence of small producers on intermediaries strengthens the bargaining power of intermediaries and affects price structures. Therefore, public policies should focus not only on reducing the number of intermediaries but also on improving efficiency, transparency, and fair competition within the distribution system to enhance overall economic welfare.

Abstract

Klanceng honey is a type of honey produced by stingless bees. The characteristics of klanceng honey are a liquid texture and a more sour or bitter taste. The content of honey is influenced by the honey's food source, which can be seen from the pollen contained in the honey. Identified pollen can be used to indicate the characteristics of the plants that serve as bee food sources. The purpose of this study was to determine the diversity of pollen sources in klanceng honey from Penggung Village, Boyolali Regency; Kebonrejo Village, Magelang Regency; Ceper Village, and Ngemplak Village, Klaten Regency, which can be used to identify plants that serve as bee food sources and be used to label honey based on its food source. The sampling method used exploratory sampling with purposive sampling. The pollen analysis method used acetolysis. Data analysis used descriptive analysis. The results of melisopalinology showed that there were 26 plant pollen families contained in the four klanceng honeys, with coconut (Cocos nucifera) pollen being the most dominant. Klanceng honey from Ceper and Kebonrejo villages is monofloral, while honey from Penggung village is bifloral, and honey from Ngemplak village is multifloral. The conclusion of this study is that the plant diversity of klanceng bees' food sources is diverse.

Abstract

Poverty is one of the major challenges faced by nearly all cities and regencies in Indonesia, including Grobogan Regency, Central Java. According to data released by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Central Java Province, as of March 2025 the poverty rate in Grobogan stood at 10.63%, which is higher than both the provincial and national averages. Poverty is a multidimensional issue that cannot be viewed solely from an economic perspective. This study aims to analyze the effect of the Open Unemployment Rate (OUR), the Human Development Index (HDI) and population size on the poverty rate in Grobogan Regency, Central Java. The study employs secondary data obtained from BPS Grobogan Regency. The analytical method used in multiple linear regression, with three independent variables (HDI, OUR, and population size) and one dependent variable (poverty rate). The findings reveal that the Human Development Index (HDI) and population size have a significant partial effect on the poverty rate in Grobogan Regency. In contrast, the Open Unemployment Rate (OUR) does not exhibit a significant partial effect. Specifically, a 1% increase in OUR is associated with a 2.8% rise in the poverty rate, while a 1% decrease in HDI corresponds to a 9% increase in the poverty rate. Meanwhile, a 1% increase in population size leads to a 0.0002578% increase in the poverty rate. Based on these results, policy interventions should prioritize enhancing the Human Development Index while simultaneously implementing population control measures.

Abstract

Juvenile delinquency is a multifaceted phenomenon necessitating a comprehensive approach that integrates legal, psychological, and social perspectives. The legal complications arising from a minor's interaction with the criminal justice system significantly impact their psychological well-being and future prospects; thus, a critical analysis of policy effectiveness is imperative. Employing normative legal research, this study demonstrates that the penal approach frequently engenders detrimental stigmatization. Consequently, a paradigm shift toward non-penal measures and the implementation of a double-track system is required, alongside the optimization of conditional sentencing. Furthermore, the concept of 'Reintegrative Shaming'serves as a viable alternative to rehabilitate minors while upholding their fundamental rights as mandated by child protection legislation.

Abstract

Digital transformation in the public sector is driving a paradigm shift in governance towards a more adaptive, flexible, and technology-based model. One of the policies that has come to the fore is Work From Anywhere (WFA), which is seen as an innovative strategy in supporting bureaucratic reform. This study aims to analyze the relationship between digital governance and the implementation of the WFA policy as an instrument of bureaucratic reform in the public sector. This study uses a qualitative approach with literature study and policy analysis methods on various regulations, government reports, and WFA implementation practices within the framework of an electronic-based government system. The results of the study show that the success of WFA is highly dependent on the maturity of digital infrastructure, the readiness of human resources, and technology-based performance management systems. Digital governance serves as the foundation for ensuring transparency, accountability, and effectiveness of public services even though they are not physically based. In addition, WFA contributes to increased work flexibility, operational efficiency, and work-life balance for civil servants. However, challenges such as data security, performance monitoring, and organizational cultural resistance still need to be anticipated. Therefore, the integration of WFA policies into the digital governance framework is an important strategy in realizing an adaptive, responsive bureaucracy that is oriented towards quality public services.
