Abstract

AbstractThe success of a missionary in delivering da'wah cannot be separated from the effective pattern he uses. Tabligh or Da'wah is a moral force that is able to drive social change and offers an alternative in building the future dynamics of the ummah, by taking the right, creative and wise ways and strategies. This paper aims to describe the pattern of da'wah in the Cireundeu Cimahi Traditional Village. This research uses descriptive analysis method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results of this study explain that Ustad Abdullah uses a traditionalist pattern, namely conveying Islamic messages or teachings from the yellow book. Using the method of delivery by word of mouth, by action, and equipped with writings from books, magazines or relevant leaflets obtained from outside. Cultural communication used is low context communication.Several factors caused the development of da'wah in the Cirendeu village to be hampered, namely: 1) Ingrained customs; 2) lack of creativity of missionaries; 3) limitations of missionaries; 4) The method of da'wah is monotonous; 5) The negative mindset of the followers (adherents of Sunda Wiwitan) towards Muslims; 6) there is no motivation of religious figures.

Abstract

This article aims to explain the connections between hate speech, hoaxes, mainstream media with impact on Indonesian Social Islam. the article will explain the role media in developing in the social field, and technology until giving new perusal, in problems in related actual issues until becoming rich perspective and understand information.  The mapping in this paper is described from the 2014 Presidential Election to the issues that have been circulating recently, including the development of the dynamics of Indonesian Islam. The solutions presented in this paper are; the role of parents in controlling their children and early social media education. This must be done because the current generation is a generation that is aware of technology, thus it is appropriate to educate based on the needs of the times. There are results found that there are deficiencies in understanding and applying social media so that it often creates anxiety that starts from the virtual world and then is brought to the real world or vice versa from the real world to the virtual world.

Abstract

The radio listener's comments and questions in weekend talk show broadcasting program entitled “Polemik Trijaya” were delivered via Twitter, which is also used to promote the program. This methodological study was determined to describe the broadcasting program's interaction and promotion in Twitter by studying the phenomenon in this research. The data was collected with interview, observation, and documentation techniques to be analyzed and concluded later on. It was found that the interactions used retweet and hashtag features, in which the hashtags used were specifically meant for the program topic which allows the interactions to continue even if the broadcasting program is ended. Twitter itself is an effective media to promote the “Polemik Trijaya” due to the promotional content that can be repackaged to be more interactive, the interactions are included in promotional content that can attract the interest of advertisers as a contributive element to the operational continuity of MNC Trijaya.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the involvement of STIBA students in student organizations and their effectiveness in da'wah as a reference material for policy makers of the Makassar Islamic and Arabic Language College (STIBA) to establish better student regulations for the development of students and alumni of STIBA Makassar. The formulation of the first problem concerns the involvement of STIBA Makassar students in student institutions, the second is the effectiveness of da'wah for STIBA Makassar alumni at the Assignment location, and the third is an analysis of student involvement in LK as well as resilience and creativity in da'wah. This research uses field research with qualitative analysis research methods, namely using in-depth data analysis in the form of numbers. The results of this study indicate that in general STIBA students during the study period have joined the Student Affairs Institute but the involvement tends to decrease from year to year. The effectiveness of the alumni's da'wah while at the job site is measured by militancy, resilience and creativity also needs intense guidance by the relevant sections within the scope of the STIBA institution, while the correlation of student involvement in student institutions to the effectiveness of da'wah has proven to be quite positive even though most of it is only at the institutional level have not been able to do a lot of creative da'wah with other institutions externally.

Abstract

This article aims to review and describe the da'wah figure of Sheikh H. Mukhtar Abdul Karim Ambai as a charismatic cleric in the renewal of Islamic da'wah in Kerinci. This article wants to see what methods are packaged and implemented in their da'wah activities. This title is deliberately presented to remember the services and struggles that have been carried out throughout his life. He preached and educated people to return to practice the teachings of Islam as stated in the Qur'an and the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad. Although there were not a few obstacles and challenges of da'wah that were felt at that time, Sheikh Mukhtar never felt tired. Even in the atmosphere, the Dutch colonial and colonial times were still engulfed. His da'wah strategy is quite easy to accept and practice by the people of Kerinci and its surroundings.

Abstract

The concept of the relationship between da'wah and power, especially what was practiced by the Prophet Muhammad in his da'wah in the Medina period, is an important object of research. This period was the starting point of the victory of da'wah which had enormous implications for the development of Islam in its end. The results showed that preaching and power in the Medina period had very strong relations. Most Islamic law cannot be implemented without a policy of authority. Power is inspired and exercised by the direction of revelation while preaching becomes strong and effective sustained by strength. Evidently the compilation of legalities possessed by the Prophet Muhammad was obtained through the process of Bai'at I and II in Medina, the development of Islam proceeded very quickly to reach the Arabian peninsula. The success of the Prophet Muhammad's leadership in Medina in integrating da'wah and power was important to make policy foothold by state officials.

Abstract

Religious instructors are people who play a role in providing education, guidance, and information to the community. For this reason, the therapeutic skills of extension workers need to be improved continuously, considering that the success of counseling lies in getting the message to the community. The purpose of this study was to measure the level of therapeutic communication based on aspects of the communicator's ability, acceptance of the communicant, the message conveyed, the use of media, and the effect of the interpretation of a message. The type of research conducted is descriptive quantitative. The research subjects of this research were 32 religious instructors in the city of Padang. The data collection tool uses instrument development in the form of a valid and reliable therapeutic communication questionnaire. The data collection technique used quantitative descriptive analysis with the percentage formula. The results of this study indicate that communicators must have the ability to master problems, speak effectively, motivate, look attractive and use appropriate language. Then from the communicant aspect, the extension worker must understand the background and cultural characteristics and the level of need for the communicant for the material presented. The material aspect of the instructor should use structured, monitored, and evaluated material. The use of media in counseling is very supportive of achieving the goals of counseling. Taking into account all these qualifications, the extension worker can avoid misinterpretation of the material presented, so that the target of the extension can be achieved.

Abstract

This research aims to explain the concept of santri da'wah in the era of disruption. The existence of the concept of da'wah for students in the era of disruption will determine the success of da'wah as an effort to symbolize Islam. Santri have a big role in creating a life order that is in accordance with the noble values contained in Pancasila and Islamic teachings. So that the concept of da'wah carried out is also expected to be on target and in accordance with current technological developments. This research is a qualitative research based on library research using descriptive analysis. The steps taken to obtain data began with collecting, documenting, reviewing and analyzing the various data found. This research seeks to reveal the concept of santri da'wah in the era of disruption, the characteristics of santri da'wah and the role of santri in da'wah in the era of disruption. Through this research, it was found that the concept of da'wah in the era of disruption was carried out by students by utilizing technological developments, the characteristics of students in preaching, and the role of students in the era of disruption in preaching.

Abstract

Suro Bali is one of the villages in Bengkulu province where the people are involved in ethnic and religious interaction, especially, Hindu and Muslim communities. Furthermore, an intense interaction for decades certainly has an impact on Muslim society. This paper is intended to determine the impact of socio-religious interactions on the Muslim community in Suro Bali. The phenomenological perspective or interpretive perspective is a big umbrella from the perspective of symbolic interaction which is the guideline in this study with a focus on the interaction of the dominant communities in Suro Bali, who are Hinduism and Islam.The result show that the effect of social-religious interaction on Muslim communities in Suro Bali can be seen from several aspects. Among other things: tolerance practices, religious activities, cultural identity, intercultural life.

Abstract

Writing related to Strategy, Public Relations and Protocol, conveys information to the people of Bengkulu Tengah, as a young district but isolated from technological advances, it reviews the strategies used by public relations and protocols in Bengkulu Tengah in providing satisfaction and comfort for the people of Central Bengkulu. Writing methods and techniques used in compiling the Field Work Practice (PKL) report, the subject of this research is T. Ikchwan. SY. As Head of Sub Division of Public Relations and Protocol of Central Bengkulu Regency. Collecting data in this study using observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Data qualitatively . based on the exposure of the research results are: socialization, using mass media both print and electronic, using WhatsApp Grub. In functionality to convey information to the public.
